Review Salsa Mexican Restaurant & Tequilaria Bedfordview - Johannesburg

Richard Hose
An all-round winner! The food was great, the atmosphere was lively - especially with the unique, yet appropriate song played during a person’s birthday… not your typical Mexican tune, but adds to the vibe. Loved the colour-changing lighting! The service we received cannot be faltered - we were a big table & our orders were served correctly, with a smile & keen interaction from the staff & management alike. The waitron was awesome & made a few alternative suggestions, to cater for special dietary requirements & allergies, which turned out to be excellent! Give Salsa a Red Hot Go!!

Amazing Mexican restaurant. First time eating here and Thulani was so helpful in helping us make up our mind on what is the best to eat. As there was so many options to choose from. Will definitely recommend this place.

This place looks great and serves delicious food. Waiters are friendly and helpful and they also have fast WiFi. I highly recommend the Mexican Chopped Salad. It's a well-balanced dish with excellent flavours and textures. I tried the Chicken Burgita and was impressed by the crunchy patty and how well the sauce/cream complemented it. There were also tomato, lettuce and onions to keep things fresh, but I felt that the raw onions were a bit too much. Also, the tortilla could have been slightly toasted as it didn't really do anything flavour-wise. The fries were a bit undercooked but well-seasoned. Good food and great vibes overall 💯

Love this spot. Even in final rugby day, they manage to squeeze us in. Great kind service. Nice vibe inside and outside seating . Food was quick. Big drink list with all sorts. Food is orthentic Mexican and is buy far the best. Thanks and keep up they great work. And I will keep coming back. 10/10

What a lovely vibe, Devine food and some impressive drink options. Came here for Valentine’s and I must say they went above and beyond to make it a memorable and amazing experience. I would definitely recommend.

Fresh authentic Mexican food. Fusion of diahed a bit here and there but still delicious. Food is served quick and hot. Quite a large menu, spoilt for choice. Had to Google a few items to understand what it actual was, lol. Great party vibe. Some craft alcoholic beverages also on the menu. Quite the Fiesta up in here!

The restaurant is beautiful to just look at they really took the Mexican theme and ran with it. The service was great and the Food was Devine. Didn't order some of their great tequila this time round but this was still a great lunch...

3rd time we had the pleasure at eating at the restaurant. Staff is welcoming, friendly and good service. Nice vibe and clean. The food is never a let down, truly it is amazing.

We went to Salsa on the 30 October for the "Day of the Dead". The restaurant was lovely, Service was good and the food was well prepared. I would reccomenr the wings any day. The salad I had needs an acquired taste, however it was a big portion and very rich. The kiddies meal were very much enjoyed, especially the little veg cut outs with the chicken meal. We enjoyed the face painted live guitarists.

We will definitely come back to Salsa. It was our first experience with Mexican and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We ordered Nachos and Tacos. The flavours were a delight to the taste buds and completely different from each other. The service was welcoming and efficient. The atmosphere was vibey, the decor was intriguing with an overall feeling that makes us long to visit again.

The food is beyond delicious, but the portions are a bit small compared to how much you pay. Friendly and prompt service. Interesting atmosphere.
Dineo Makgathulela
Lovely place, gives the Mexican food experience. Worth visiting!

Very welcoming and good Latin music… that tacos 🌮 with soft tortillas was best it actually was our second time here.. the Black widows alcohol jag drink was doing nothing we had to order some shots to give it a boost Overall we enjoyed

The Mexican food is certainly worth paying a bit extra for. The beautiful array of cocktails is what really drew me to this place though. A spacious area that looks suitable for a large gathering. I'll definitely come back.

Good service, great nachos, the prawn tostadas are definitely a must try. Everything is just super fresh and tasty. The jugs are delicious and there is a good variety of tequila. We really enjoyed our afternoon here.

I do admit that I am quite a fussy patron when it comes to seating and I do always ensure I make the proper reservations and seating arrangements before visiting a restaurant (OCD - have to be seated in a corner ). I called this branch twice and confirmed my seating arrangement both times only to arrive and it was completely botched. So for a person with OCD to be sitting in the middle of the restaurant was already a bad start to my night. After sometime we did move to another table but I was unable to get the table that I had initially booked. But onto the food, The stuffed jalapeno starter is not for the faint-hearted. I thoroughly enjoyed the pulled pork and beef mini hard shell taco starter. The chicken in my dishes throughout the night didn't really have much flavour. My boyfriend built his own soft taco with beef for his main which he really enjoyed and which, admittedly was better than my own build your own main (free range chicken quesadilla). On a positive note the virgin cocktails were delicious :)

I went to Salsa for the 1st time ever and I must say I was so impressed with the food, I will be going back very soon. The food and the drinks were absolutely delicious.<br/><br/>Our waiter was amazing, so friendly and totally clued up on the menu.<br/><br/>The only thing I don't like about this place is that the tables are too close and when it gets busy as it did after 12h00, it feels like people are almost on top of each other. I could feel the person behind me moving around and touching my chair which was a bit annoying.<br/><br/>Other then that, I had a lovely lunch and afternoon at Salsa.
Erin
Absolutely loved the vibe and the food was outstanding . Excellent service, will definitely go back there in a heartbeat. Also very clean and tidy which is always a bonus

Standards always met. Great local Mexican food. Quality ingredients, freshness, taste... Good service from the waiters. It's all hands on deck irrespective of title and table. Must try
Princess Niritika
Very good menu, wonderful service and great value for money, the music could have been softer as we were unable to hear each other speak, good was presented well and portions were generous
Nalinee Soobramoney
Fabulous and feverish - this place has a vibe all of its own. Delicious , authentic food served by energetic and enthusiastic waiters. Food was delicious - so much so there wasn’t any thought to take pics. Ribs were a bit dry and stringy , but the basting was really good. Enchilada, quesadillas , burritos and tacos were definitely winners. <br/>Great selection of tequila and thirst-quenching margaritas. Other cocktails are great too. Spent a fabulous NYE there - big ups 🙌👏

I have been to the Salsa in Pretoria @Loftus Park and really like the vibe and food. So first time at Bedford Centre. Friendly waiter and efficient service. We had the Jalapeno poppers for starters and Vegetarian Tacos and Chicken Fajita for main. There was a bit of an issue as my beautiful Natalie got the Chicken Tacos instead of Veg ones...but that was rectified quite quickly. All in all a good experience.
Nico Els
Well it was my very first time easting at a mexican restaurant. Great experience. Food was generous and the prices not exorbitant. The Quesadilla was huge and I had to take it home. Very tasty. The Sol beer was a great companion. Will go back as soon as I am in the area.
Magda Oosthuysen
I’ve been to the Salsa in Parkhurst and lived the vibe and the food. Went to this one die lunch and found that food and vibe and service remains equally good. We have the chicken burrito and the trio of burritos and as usual this was great food. Definitely a place that I will continue to visit and recommend to others.

Delicious fresh food! Better than Mexico!! Great service! <br/>Great Vibe. Good value for money. <br/>Portions large! Deserts Devine! Will definitely be back!<br/>
Food Loving 101
This place is great for friends and family gatherings and also birthday parties, very warm environment and the nachos and delicious. Would have given a 5 but the mojito has a very unpleasant taste
Rosey Maritz
Lovely venue for a relaxed Sunday lunch. The ambience is perfect . Music playing and decor add to the theme. I love the paintings of skulls behind the bar. The whole place is colorful. Food is well presented and very tasty. Don’t be in a hurry when you go this place you must savour the flavours. Interesting and exciting drinks and cocktail menu. Something for everyone. <br/>
Amy Desdemona Pavadal
Everything was great from the ambience, service, food & drinks! Prices were average. Been here twice & would definitely go back! Loved the tequila cocktails
Sonique "Foodie" Davids
Vibe<br/>Busy<br/>Fun<br/><br/>Food<br/>Tacos not great<br/>Chicken burrito is awesome<br/>Nachos are good and filling<br/>Too little guacamole provided<br/><br/>Service<br/>Fairly quick
Dani Kofsky
I went for a late lunch yesterday. Overall it was a good experience, nothing spectacular. We had a bit of everything including nacho's (veryy spicy), meatballs and jalapeno poppers for starters. We all created our own mains which is great for picky people like myself to pick and choose what we each wanted to eat. Finally deserts were nice, I'd say the Churros are the best option after trying the other 2 desert options as well.<br/>Our waiter was super friendly and the atmosphere was fantastic. They have a fantastic bar area!
Itu
Awesome experience... The food was amazing.<br/>Waiters and stuff were just awesome.<br/><br/>I ordered... Tacos and Nachos and my wife ordered Quesadilla (Gringo)<br/><br/>All in all its a perfect places for couples for a nice date night and the price wasn't that bad. 9/10...<br/><br/>Great Tasting Food.

Last night we stopped for a visit at Salsa for some shooters. Vibe was alive and good service! We had a warm welcome and were shown to our tables. Keep up the good work guys!
Daniëlle Bezuidenhout
Tequila and tacos are a combination made in heaven! Delicious mexican food and yummy margaritas. Service is great but it is almost impossible to get space without a reservation at peak hour.
Anisha Lutchman
I've been to the Salsa Mexican Grill in Parkhurst a couple of times and I absolutely love it. My friend decided to have her birthday lunch at the Salsa Mexican Grill at Bedford Centre. I had a pretty good idea of what to expect so I was excited to go try it out.<br/><br/>The restaurant is beautifully decorated and really nice and spacious with plenty space to sit. The skull wall along the one side of the restaurant is pretty epic and adds such character to the restaurant.<br/><br/>To drink, I ordered the virgin raspberry margarita. I'm not really a fan of icy things so I'm not too sure why I ordered this drink. The flavour was good nonetheless. To eat, my boyfriend and I decided to share the spicy signature nachos with guacamole, chicken and sour cream. As usual, the portion was so huge that we struggled to even finish it. It was so delicious. I can honestly say that these guys make the best nachos.<br/><br/>I did find that the service was a little sluggish. Our waiter seemed all over the place. Granted that we were a fairly large group of people, but it's never great when half the table receives their food while the other half has to wait for their food. Other than that, it was an enjoyable afternoon and the food was really good!
Greg N
I’m quite a health fundi and they offer quite a healthy variety. There food is also really fresh. I understand now why they’re always pumping.

Finally - after weeks of saying we wanted a Mexican experience - we dined at Salsa <br/><br/>Really enjoyed ourselves. The food was tasty and filling. There was a good vibe. <br/><br/>Definitely worth the wait and will visit again for sure!
Lucy Wu
Great lunch catch up session! Food is a lot more spicy compared to the salsa in Pretoria and I love that. Definitely try out the beetroot chips, I really enjoyed it
Kimberley Blunden
Absolutely adore this place! Service and staff is always good and the nachos are to die for! Would recommend this place to everyone ! I eat excited every time I go there !
Michaela Leon
I find their menu a bit boring. Everytime I am here I always tend to go for the chilli con carne, I find it somewhat wholesome and delish 😍. I have the right to brag and say I have tried everything on their cocktail menu, and to date there isn't anything I like, so I simply stick to ice water and lemon.
Santana De Melo
Jalapeño poppers were served in seconds and were cold, noticeably preprepared. Wouldn't suggest their pork tacos to anyone. Smothered in basting and not fresh at all. Service very sad from the waitress and managers behalf.<br/><br/>Has nothing on the Parkhurst branch. Nachos are the only good thing that came out of here.

I’ve been keen to try a Salsa Mexican restaurant for awhile. This one here at Bedford Centre is ideally located. Lots of Centre parking as well. <br/>We came for lunch and had to stand and wait at the reception table to be greeted and seated?<br/><br/>There’s a real vibey feel and atmosphere and the piped Mexican music and open plan bar & kitchen really add to the Mexican ambience. <br/>The meet & greet & service provided was ok but I sensed a very distant, almost, you bothering us, attitude. As they say, a fish rots from the head. <br/><br/>We ordered a jug of frozen margarita mixed with rum and raspberry. It was delicious. A great mix and it got better the more we drank 🍹🍸 Funny that …<br/>My daughter ordered a chocolate milkshake but had to send it back to be replaced as it wasn’t nice at all. <br/><br/>For mains my wife had a quesadilla and I had the original burrito. I used my hands to eat the burrito as it seemed appropriate and it tasted brilliant. I loved the spice and the texture and the mixture of ingredients and the juiciness. My wife felt that the quesadilla(maybe not the best choice) was below average though and that the ones she orders at the Mexican restaurant at Chilli Lane are much much better in every way. <br/><br/>I received a free pineapple and mint tequila for downloading their App. It was different and I really enjoyed it. So much so I ordered a gingerbread one to wash it down with. Shoo, the ginger was strong. Even stronger than the tequila itself 😜<br/><br/>Overall we enjoyed our visit, the drinks in particular but honestly we didn’t feel & sense the friendliness and welcoming spirit we would of expected at a place of Mexican feasting! It felt more like they were doing us a favour by letting us eat there!
Carin
Huge portions<br/>We had their nachos, and it was awesome!<br/>Only went for a quick bite, they have a big variety of tequilas<br/>And chirros for desert
Shushu
Drinks:<br/>Passion fruit and granadilla margarita <br/>Very granita-like drink, very nice. Something different. <br/><br/>Main:<br/>Enchilada - Mexican mince<br/>Portion is a bit small, but it is worth the price, very tasty. Mixture of flavours and a hint of spice.<br/><br/>Hard shell chilanga tacos<br/>It comes with 2 tacos, it was not spicy although it looked very spicy (good). Portion size was just right.<br/><br/>1/4rack ribs -Chipotle bbq <br/>On the sweeter side in terms of flavor, but otherwise good! <br/><br/>Sides:<br/>Shoe string fries<br/>Was not actually shoe string fries, they were just thin fries, but they were good. Chip spice was very nice. <br/><br/>Overall, would recommend and would come again.

Group of 10 everyone else served, completely missed me... everyone else served food looked good smelt great... Pricing seems reasonable... still waiting to see if they charge me for food not served.... for a restaurant EPIC fail!!!

Hola! As a vegetarian, I'm always on the look out for something really tasty.  Have to say that the refried beans in a soft taco with guacamole and salsa hits  the right spot every time. The meal arrived in a short time and the staff were great - no "hows your meal", when you've just put a fork into your mouth and great that there is always a manager to welcome customers.  I loved the freshly squeezed orange juice, served in a tall glass, The meal was great value for money - I had the second taco for supper. Love that we have our own Mexican restaurant in Bedfordview and close to my other favorite spot - the movies!
Megan Fairhurst
I absolutely love Mexican food so was very keen to try out Salsa Mexican Grill. Saturday lunch time and it was busy but we did not have a problem getting a table. The food was very tasty although I am not sure the hard shell taco El Vegetal meal is the best value for money. Jalapeno poppers were good but pack a serious punch. Thankfully the churros helped to tame the fire. I personally would prefer to have the chocolate dipping sauce on the side instead of being drizzled over the churros and the chocolate ice cream served with the churros seemed a bit of an odd addition. The service is lacking though. Once our waitress realized we were not going to be drinking alcohol she lost interest and we had to search for her to firstly find the jalapeno poppers which hadn't appeared and when we wanted the bill.

What a fantastic night out. On the weekend the vibe here is 2nd to none. Awesome food, delicous cocktails, trendy decor. The manager also made our visit that much more memorable by helping us find a table after we hadn't booked. So far my favourite mexican restaurant in Joburg.
Wendy Wabbit
Great idea but the music is so loud. We aren't at a club and spent the entire evening shouting over to hear one another. So unfortunately an evening with old friends meeting up wasn't spent catching up as we couldn't hear each other
Chiv
Tequila Town!!!! A great atmosphere with authentic Mexican food. The burritos are excellent and the churros are divine! Go on Friday and Saturday nights and try to reserve a table!
Rabfam
A bit hesitant trying Mexican food but was pleasantly surprised <br/>Service was excellent <br/>Made our own combinations of food<br/>Food was fresh excellent quality and very tasty<br/>Worth a visit
Jessica
I wasn't very impressed with this salsa bar in relation to the ones in fourways and parkhust. Still a festive vibe but the service was terrible. We waited forever to place our order and actually get a drinks menu. We were also bounced between waiters, not even knowing who our waiter was. Being busy actually isn't an excuse- you should be prepared and organised. The worst rum and raspberry cocktail jugs iv ever had. Really not anything more than a jug of ice. And the churros were horrid. Churros are traditionally crispy on the outside with a soft fluffy inside. Yours were just plain soft and mush, as if they had been cooked and warmed up later.

Our night out was an experience.<br/>It was a birthday celebration for my mother and all of us were fairly inexperienced at Mexican food.<br/>The waiter, Eddie, was so kind and helpful explaining in fascinating detail the menu and suggestions, he was also chirpy and had had quite funny responses to our questions and comments.<br/><br/>The food was great, fresh and tasteful, just as Eddie explained.<br/>Portions are larger than expected, the price was even better. We had nachos and poppers to share. The nachos was perhaps the best nachos we have had.<br/>The poppers were decent! <br/>A great Tequila and Mexican beer selection, with some local craft beers. Also a large selection of cocktails and virgin cocktails.<br/><br/>At the end we found out that it was Eddie's first night as a waiter at Salsa! We complimented the manager on the great food and service, his response was less jovial than expected.<br/><br/>I would recommend Salsa and Eddie any day of the week!<br/>I am looking forward to our next night out at Salsa
Laura Brewer
So, if like me, you don't like a really chaotic, busy, loud and noisy restaurant that you need to shout to have a conversation in, Salsa on a Friday night is NOT the place to be. Maybe to some that is "ambience" and maybe other nights are less rowdy. I found the burrito I had to be very flavourful but the portions really aren't great for what you pay. I was still hungry afterwards but maybe I'm just an above average eater :P I think this kind of restaurant is known more for the party vibes and the cocktails and tequilas than enjoying a good meal.
Tristan Du Toit
Pleasant service, good Mexican food and cocktails! Spanish music creates a playful ambiance and the large drinks menu makes salsa a winner in my book. Being an avid tequila drinker the large variety of tequila here is exciting.
Blue Jiay
Best f*cking nachos I've had. <br/>Freakin' dangerous margaritas that taste so good, so sweet, you can finish a whole jug by yourself. <br/>This place changed my mind about churros, they CAN be darn delicious if done properly. <br/>No I did not write this review under the influence.<br/>Reservations from Friday evening and onwards recommended since other peeps really like them too.
Lizl Snyman
A friend and I spent about 3 hours here dining this afternoon. Food was good but we ordered a bottle of wine and received 2 carafes instead. Waiters also almost took our half finished plates of food away several times. That was annoying. We paid and left. We returned about 10 minutes later to get our parking tickets stamped and was welcomed by 2 members of staff in a less than cordial manner. We were told that they did not have tickets and that the restaurant next door also did not have any tickets left. When we said but it's basically like a Friday evening and the start to a long weekend and that they therefore should be prepared we got a very apathetic oh well, that's the way it is, now you just go away customers. Bad attitudes like this closes restaurant doors eventually.
Lily Rose
Amazing service and food.I absolutely enjoyed going to this restaurant. It was my first time time and I can't wait to go back! The servicescape elements are just to die for #SalsaMexicanGrill
Meagan Daniels
Was very fun festive place. If you don't want loud all around you then don't go to salsa. Great party vibe. We had the mini trio of tacos hard she'll was very good pulled pork is abit to sweet but still soft 4 star....nachos very good had it with sour cream and extra chicken very filling 5star....had the original burrito with beef very good nice flavours and fresh vegetables inside 5 star had the alcoholic margarita and non alcoholic both very good 5star. Waiter was very good made us laugh we enjoyed our lunch very much.
G&#039;s Point
I've mostly been to the one in fourways but the quality of the food and service of this one was as good as expected. A bit bigger than the one fourways which did change the overall vibe a bit, but still definitely worth heading to...would go back if I'm in the area
Julio Amorim
Best Nacho's ever! Has a great atmosphere and delicious Mexican food. Love the enchilada and chicken burrito. It is quite pricy but Nachos especially are worth every penny.
Isabella Morris
Fresh, flavoursome, tasty food. Management could do with a shake up. Staff fair. Front let's the kitchen down. A pity. Feels like a plug-and-play restaurant, where ownership/management is absent. Doesn't feel like anyone really cares.
Toni-J
My partner and I really enjoyed the experience. We got there just before the evening rush. We opted for the raspberry jug, & it was actually freaking tasty! For starters we tried the Jalapeño poppers & Pulled pork Tostada. Delicious! I seriously enjoyed the poppers & then cooling down with big sips of our raspberry jug! Mmmmmmmm! We also had the Mamacita, a delicious vegetarian friendly quesadilla, it was light and fresh. To add to up our experience we tried two of their craft tequilas, the watermelon & cucumber one & the other one was a litchi one - GET THE LITCHI ONE! Lastly we dove right into some churros, eish, they were uhm aight... <br/><br/>Lovely experience in all.
Ilze Botha-van Tonder
Loved the flavoured tequilas<br/>Had quesadilla with chicken, was good. Taco's looked awesome so defnitely trying that out soon. Loved the look of the bar
Nikita
What a great experience! <br/>Food was delicious, incredibly fresh and on point !! <br/>Service was super speedy and efficient. We received our food quickly in spite of the fact that the restaurant was exceptionally busy. <br/>We had their Mexican chopped salad as well as a make-your-own burrito. Both were excellent and full of flavor. <br/>Their margaritas are also GREAT! Pineapple & Chili is the BEST!!!<br/>The ONLY negative (and I truly mean THE ONLY NEGATIVE) is that their wine list is rather poor. I suppose if you're going for Mexican you're probably going to complement the meal with a margarita or a Corona, so it's really not the end of the world. <br/>I'll DEFINITELY be BACK! <br/><br/>
Tamaryn Ann Moore
A lovely experience with most of the food at our table being great. My partner did however feel disappointed in his main meal as it didn't meet his expectations of flavour. The rest of the party loved our meals and we all enjoyed the restaurants bustling vibe.
Trevor
Went for Sunday lunch. Sat in the outside section. Very pleasant.<br/>Started off with a jug of Margarita- yummy<br/>For starters we shared nachos ( spicy) Really good and a generous serving.<br/>For mains we had gringo quesadilla- tortilla base, beef strips, mozzarella.feta, pico de gallo, guacamole, grilled peppers and chopped jalapeño. <br/>Original burrito- beef strips coriander lime rice fajita veg black beans pick de gallo guacamole chopped butter lettuce Served with grated white cheddar <br/>Must say big portions and we could not finish everything <br/>Service was attentive and comical at some points
FatCake101
My all time favorite at Salsa is their nachos! They make it the best, as a vegetarian there are not many pre-made options on the menu. But the vegetarian tacos they offer are still amazing! I love the weekend vibe here. The service is fast too.
Ornella Scarpellini
The vibe here is pretty flat. The food was great as always. What makes my review so low is that management are pathetic! I had an issue with my burrito, they didn't bother helping me, in fact they ignored me! This is not something you do in the customer service industry... When we were leaving I requested to speak to one of the managers and again they ignored me, eventually one did come. He was so rude and dismissive. I will never go to the Bedford centre branch again.
Jeanette Van Der Merwe
The vibe is fantastic. The food is great and the cocktails are cool and fresh.<br/><br/>Salsa would make it and greater place if they incorporated dance a floor.<br/><br/>They would attract more customers in the evening.<br/><br/>
Christopher Gabriel
Never going back there. We requested a table for 2 but the host stated that they're fully booked so we asked for a take away instead. Immediately after we placed the takeaway order, another couple who clearly did not have a reservation immediately got escorted to a table. Not the first time we experienced this customer service from the same individual. Pity the service sucks because the food is actually good.
Taniko Gough
Came here for an impromptu date and was completely blown away . The staff are absolutely fantastic and even more so the food ! We shared a Blood Orange Margarita Jar and a platter for two which were both so incredibly yummy !!!
Maxine Luczyn
Such a fun vibe and the waiters are great. Loved the nachos and frozen margaritas. Love that there are vegetarian options and so many options of tequila. Will definitely be going back.
Buhle Sibanyoni
I fell completely in love with Salsa Mexican Grill last year. I went to the Parkhurst branch and had the yummiest burrito. So today I was craving it so badly that I decided to go through to their Bedford Centre branch. BIG MISTAKE! I ordered the same original burrito, but this time I was left underwhelmed. The beef was tough and dry, there was no flavor or sauce. It was tasteless basically. So bland that I had to put tomato sauce on it just to give it some life. I'm so disappointed. What a waste of my time and money.
Nicky Davies
We ordered take outs and although I tacos were absolutely devine the nachos fell flat. To be honest it would be easier and tastier to get doretoes and cheese and make them at home. Really disappointed
Kirk Grung
Absolute disappointment!!!<br/>On arrival no host to seat us. Secondly it took 15 minutes for our first drinks to be served.<br/>Once we had all ordered our dinners, one dinner was totally disregarded and I wasn't served any dinner.<br/>The attention by both waiters and sadly worse by the managers left me with a really bad and negative impression.<br/>Salsa, you guys have some homework ahead of you!!
Shayna Yardley
Went for dinner and had an amazing meal! I had the chicken quesadilla and it was a really filling scrumptious meal!! The vibe is awesome and the restaurant looks awesome! The service is very commendable and our waiter was really on the ball and friendly! Really a lovely experience. I'd like to make mention that the wine list (specifically red) needs some changes/ additions as the wine selection is not too good, there are much nicer wines that can be put on the menu in the same price range.
Neil
When making my my booking for tonight was shocked to hear only a few spots available! As a skeptical South African I must say, " after a booking was made, service impeccable, team work well real team! Food created the atmosphere as the only thing that could have helped was a carnival I have died and gone to Mexican heaven.... or afterlife, a reward!
Simone Todd
We went there with a few friends on Saturday night to celebrate a birthday. Food, vibe and service was amazing!!!! We will definitely be returning on a regular basis! My favourite meal was the Nachos with extra pulled pork, if it's your first time there you have to try it!!
Kate Baart
We went here last night and the food was delicious! The restaurant is loud so if you're prepared for that it won't bug you. The only thing was our waiter was not very good, we got to the restaurant at 5:30 before the restaurant was even busy and we didn't see him, then when we asked questions he was kind of rude about asking them. My friend asked for water and he brought her a bottle, which is fine he didn't know she wanted tap water but when she asked to swop it for tap water he was rude again about that. It was all in all a good evening, the waiter could have just been nicer.
Nirusha Ramla
Lively atmosphere, and well themed Mexican restaurant. Been to this restaurant twice now and have not been disappointed. Everything about this restaurant is awesome. I love the idea that you can create you own dish, but that the menu also has selection of dishes to choose from. The black bean taco was fresh and delicious. We had the specialty Tequila shooters, which was unusually interesting and the various different combinations, such as watermelon and cucumber, litchi etc made the evening more special. <br/><br/>The service is exceptionally good and I really like the fact that the manger came to our table more than once and not only to ask about our evening, but to recommend shooters and food. <br/><br/>I can clearly see why this restaurant is so busy. Looking forward to my next visit.
Kadija Di Allo
I absolutely love going to salsa for dinner. The place is always fun and welcoming. The music makes me want to get up and dance. The waiters are friendly and their Nachos as well as chicken enchiladas are the absolute best. The prices are decent and the place gives off a very festive vibe. I love it.
Jason Michael Scruton
Well priced, brilliant service, food was quick and amazing just like Mexican food should be, and the drinks were amazing especially the craft tequila and cocktails.... for a tip order the jug of cocktails works out cheaper.... no complaints
Genevieve Law
What a wonderful Mexican themed restaurant to enter the Bedfordview scene. We stumbled upon this restaurant while shopping in Bedford centre. At 12:00 the place was already packed for lunch. We settled for sitting by the bar because everywhere else was taken. <br/><br/>What I loved about the service is how everyone worked as a team. The barmen were happy to answer our questions about the menu and take our orders whilst the other waiters delivered and cleared our plates. <br/><br/>We ordered the after for two which gives affords one the options of tasting a variety of options. Everything from the meatballs to the quesadilla was packed with bold flavours and we were sorry that we were full and couldn't try even more. The food came beautifully presented with our food split between the two of us on its own separate board. <br/><br/>They have a whole menu dedicated to tequila, making this a great venue for a celebration, but since it was barely afternoon, we settled for some craft beer and ciders. <br/><br/>Vibey, delicious and fun - this is definitely my favourite Mexican restaurant in Joburg to date.

Very nice atmosphere. Nice service and food. Very accommodating. The tacos were cold though so that's why they are getting a 4. I will definitely be going back for more. Nice vibe!

I am ashamed to say that within the first month of the Salsa Mexican Grill being opened in the Bedford Centre we had eaten at it at least eight times. Since then it has become our favourite meal spot and our go-to 'special occasion' restaurant.<br/>The restaurant is always busy and trying to get a table on the weekend is bordering impossible for good reason. The atmosphere is fun and uplifting; the staff a efficient; and the food is amazing.<br/>Although we have tried a lot of the items on the menu our firm favourites are the nachos with extra pulled pork and guacamole and the Mexican Chopped salad. The nachos are full of cheese and salsa and the pulled pork is definitely the best we have ever had. The Mexican Chopped salad is huge, fresh and very filling. <br/>Salsa Mexican Grill also offer a large selection of cocktails and craft beers. Although they sometimes do not have all the craft beers they list the Rum and Raspberry cocktail is icy and delicious.<br/>This particular Salsa Mexican Grill has always offered us a great experience and we will continue visiting and gouging ourselves on their amazing food. I recommend trying it out but booking is definitely advised.

I am absolutely disgusted with the way I was treated by your general manager on Friday 6. January. After attempting to complain about the fact that my reservation of eight had to wait outside while the manager moved chairs around the restaurant I was told that "actually you only waited four minutes". I don't need to be corrected by a person who is supposed to be providing a service, particularly when it is a service myself and my party of eight are paying for. <br/><br/>On top of this the chairs that were being moved around (as mentioned above) were previously allocated to our table. Our party of eight was now expected to squash on to a table meant for four guests. Again when complaining about this I was met with an unprofessional and aggressive attitude. <br/><br/>I find this a complete misrepresentation of your establishment as a whole, your other staff (waitrons etc) were all absolutely wonderful. The fact that the person you decided to place in a leadership position is the one letting you down is disappointing.

Went to Salsa for a Christmas Party and was pretty impressed!...Ordered Platters which were excellent!...The Vibe was also really Festive!...Will Go Back 4sure!

30.12.2016 With all the vaalies out of town I finally managed to make a booking to try my first Salsa branch and use my voucher I won with them.<br/><br/>It was still kinda busy and the service was a bit slow. We ordered a variety of goodies to eat so that we could all taste and try what everyone raves about. <br/><br/>All in all we had<br/>• 3 Mini hard shell tacos with beef chicken and pork<br/>• Pork Tostada (soft pork but needed spice) <br/>• Jalapeño Poppers (these had a bit of kick) <br/>• Beetroot Fries (those that were fried crispy were nice)<br/>• Sweet Potato fries (these were good) <br/>• Side of Sweet & Tangy Salsa ( bland no flavour /spice )<br/>•2 x El Pescado - Beer battered Hake Soft and Hard shell Tacos ( the fish was tastless to me personally) <br/>• 1 x Chilanga - Chicken Soft shell taco with coriander and lime rice which was nice. But still needed salt and lemon to bring out the flavour<br/>• Baja shrimp Basket ( no flavour too much soggy lettuce ) <br/>• 1 × Red Hot sauce ( this had some good kick to it) <br/>• 2 x Churros with chocolate Ice Cream ( even though it was nice the Churros didn't wow me)<br/>• 2 × Varied Margaritas ( these were lekker and tasty)<br/>• 3 x Craft Tequila - Gingerbread / Chilli & Jalapeño / Lemon & Ginger ( these packed a good punch and will definitely knock you down if you have too many)<br/><br/>We had a nice meal but I think I enjoyed the drinks more than the food as nothing was spiced or salted. I wasn't just looking for that chilli taste but just good use of spices which it lacked and I wasn't as impressed as I'd hoped to be. Will go again another time as see if there is a difference.<br/>

Not only did the manager rush us the whole evening (opposite of a relaxing dinner with friends!) because he had another table coming in. But 3 out of the 4 of us who ate (and ordered different things) have been sick the whole day after!! :(

We celebrated two birthday party's of late and enjoyed it tremendously! When I think Mexican I think tequila, spicy food, tacos more tequila. Salsa is fun fun fun and is must try! Well priced, good variety and great cocktails. The Tippi-tim-po cocktail is a pink drink with a kick! Book well in advance!

I made the trek to Bedfordview this past weekend for a birthday lunch and was certainly not disappointed with what I found. <br/><br/>Salsa Bedfordview is as lovely as their other branches and those cheesy nachos perfectly complimented by the craft tequila selection on offer were fabulous!! <br/><br/>Great service - tick.<br/>Festive, Mexican hats that I have come to love wearing - tick.<br/>Incredibly colorful and tasteful interiors in theme - tick. <br/>Decent portions of food at good prices - tick. <br/><br/>*Recommendation: All in all - Great vibe, excellent Mexican food that I have come to love by Salsa at decent prices and a wonderful lunch had by us all (including the birthday girl). I highly recommend Salsa in Bedfordview for a festive birthday, celebration or general lunch out. However, judging from how busy they get, I would book a table to avoid disappointment!<br/> <br/><br/>For more, find me on Instagram & Twitter: LaurasWorldza

So I can't really rates this restaurant based on cuisine....but purely on tequila....this evening went down south drastically, tried every single tequila shot and the mixed berries and Litchy and cucumber really took us home. I will come back for food but the waiters and the vibe are exceptional. Abuse this place...

Great vibe and great food! My boyfriend and I stopped off for a quick dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the meal. Unlike anything in the east Rand at the moment. Great flavor combinations and authentic, high quality Mexican food. The build-your-own side of the menu seems like it can get pretty pricy pretty quickly but there a la carté options were reasonably priced and generously proportioned. Will definitely be back to try some more of the food options, as well as sample some tequila and cocktails. I have only two negative critiques; the service was a little slow, and the different dishes arrived at drastically different temperatures which made eating with company a little awkward. But it was crazy busy!
StuieMic
This is my favorite of all the Salsa restaurants!!! The vibe is unbeatable and the food is perfect!! It is a bit on the pricey side but so worth it!!!!<br/>The service is excellent!!!<br/>Love the variety of craft and imported Tequila!!!<br/>You have to give this a visit, just remember to book!!

Went here on Sunday! I loved every second and wish I could stay longer. We had the Pulled pork tacos A definite MUsT try! Cocktails where Devine and the atmosphere was great!<br/>Try not sit close to the kitchen pass though, you can hear quite allot, manager's reprimanding waiters and orders being screamed out.<br/>Other than that, I can't wait to be back. Keen to try the Craft Tequilas!

Really enjoy coming to this restaurant if I'm craving some Mexican food and it does not disappoint. The nachos and burritos are great and the tacos are very tasty too. One Criticism is that the desserts are very disappointing. The churros were bland and need a much better chocolate sauce as the ice cream that comes with it makes them difficult to eat together and the strawberry and dream tacos were all ice cream and just difficult to eat as well. My only suggestion would be to offer new desserts, possibly chocolate brownies with a caramel and chilli sauce with their chocolate ice cream.

First time trying it after seeing it so many time. It is always busy through out the day. Sadly we didn't book so had to sit at the bar tables. So therefore... it does require booking. The place has a really good Mexican vibe with loud music. The service is very quick. Food is also very quick. So quick you'd think it's fast food but tastes way better. A must try
Jessica Ropertz
I really like Salsa! However, last night we didn't have a great experience. I think this branch need to pull their socks up as they crack under pressure. Was a Thursday night, quite busy. Got my food order wrong, twice! The waitress just forgot about a few of our drinks orders, so service was not great at all. Also, a couple things were left off our bill, which is their loss but just shows the lack of control they have on a moderately busy night. Would hate to know what goes on on a Friday or Saturday night...
M P
My sister and I really enjoy it here. We usually come in the week as its not as packed as the weekends (not without good reason though). The cocktails are delicious, love the raspberry rum one. Food was good, staff is friendly and the place has a very nice vibe, it's very good for get togethers!
Martin
Salsa Bedfordview. Over-subscribed. Under-serviced.<br/>Our table has been forgotten. Babies come quicker. Food looks okay but that's based on visual presentation alone. Service is a joke, in case the gist wasn't properly conveyed. Stay away if a pleasant dining experience is high on your agenda.
Patricia Hutchison
Staff is absolutely marvelous. Potion sizes are massive for the price. Great family feel. Also a welcome and comfortable feel to the restaurant. Will definitely come back... often...

I finally got a chance to try this trendy new spot in Bedford Centre. The restaurant really breathes quite a bit of life into the square, and it was packed and vibey on a Friday night. <br/><br/>I found the build-your-own options seem to work out quite pricey, but the ready assembled stuff wasn't badly priced. I was surprised at how expensive the nachos were though. My boyfriend ordered them without the meat option and it was R80. But it was quite a decent portion, and the cheesy sauce they used was delicious. <br/><br/>I ordered the Chicken Enchilada which was really good. There's a thick layer of cheese on top of the tortilla so it's definitely not for the health conscious. The chicken was tasty and tender, and the cilantro rice had a really nice flavour. <br/><br/>**On another occasion I ordered the Chilli Con Carne bowl and it was excellent. The rice is full of flavour, the mince is tasty and the gooey melty cheese just tops it off perfectly. Do be warned though it is quite spicy unlike the previous order I had there. **<br/><br/>It seems like a good spot to get decent tasty Mexican food, with lots and lots of cheese... Our meals weren't very spicy, I'm not sure if we were supposed to tick something for that option. But the chilli sauce they bought to accompany the meal was spicy enough. I'll definitely be keen to go back and try some of their tasty sounding cocktails.h

This venue is a LOT bigger than the Parkhurst branch. Had the nachos and jalapeño poppers, both were very nice. The nachos could have done with some more guacamole though. Also, I ordered spicy and they brought the mild. It was a busy night though! The venue has a cool party vibe / feel. The tequila flavoured Craft Beer, "Claro" is delicious. I'll be back to try the Margaritas and "Craft Tequila", as well as more food items :)
Nikita
The salsa music gave the restaurant a great vibe. Their nachos are the best I have ever had and their Mexican tacos were also really great but a small. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant for a girls night out!
Fabiana
Had a fabulous evening here last night! Definitely can see what all the hype is about. <br/>We started with one of their margarita jugs, was amazing! And then had some Nachos as a starter. Just for those two, I will be going back. Divine! <br/>I then had a soft shell taco, was very tasty aswell! <br/>Will 100% be going back for some margaritas, Nachos and will have to try their churros. <br/>Loved the music, stunning Mexican ambiance. A must try!
Micaela Lo Russo
Finally was able to get a table at this salsa as they are always full, we started off by having a jug of margarita and it was so good, you can't really taste the alcohol so you drink it like its juice 😱 we also had their craft tequila. <br/>To eat I ordered the Mexican soft shell taco, and it was very tasteful. <br/>My partner had the enchiladas and he said there was too much filling in his because everything kept falling out whenever he took a bite. <br/>The service was a little slow but that was because by the time we ordered our food the restaurant was fully booked out<br/>The vibe at this salsa is great I felt like I was in Mexico 💃🏻
Mark Faesen
We booked four days in advance to secure a table since the restaurant is very popular at the moment. 10 minutes after being seated we had not seen a waiter yet. Admittedly a Sunday lunch here in Bedford centre can get very busy and indeed there were a few birthday parties. Nonetheless the service does not need to be slow if management would anticipate the Sunday crowd and get adequate numbers of staff. Anyway, after a slow start things were getting better and the food was tasty. We enjoyed our meal.

So, this was my first experience at Salsa and mexican food in sa for quite a while. The menu selection was similar to what we get at Rocco Mammas. My DIY burrito was very well prepared and there were loads of options to select from. Of course, this place would be best for function and special events.
Sam Lapan
Went to Salsa for the first time last night. We got there quite early and were surprised to hear that they were fully booked but we could eat as long as we left by 19:30. This is apparently the second month they have been open and So Popular already - well we now know why. We decided to order a variety of dishes to share which were Nachos, a beef burrito, chicken soft tacos and a pulled pork tostada with a side of fries. Dessert was churros - which we've never had. All I can say is WOW! The wait wasn't long at all and all of the food was Delicious. You know it's good when Everything you eat is Divine. Portions are generous and the pricing isn't heart attack inducing. Service was attentive and on point - a rarity these days. The vibe, décor and music were all great and the restaurant filled up steadily while we were there and was basically full when we left. Owner was also there himself which is also an indication of ongoing success. Here in the East we have been deprived of Mexican for a good while and it's great to see that this glaring gap has been filled with the high quality offering of Salsa. Will definitely be back.

Myself and John went to Salsa for dinner last night. We enjoyed every minute. From the start- I had been told by a friend that we would have to make a booking to be able to get in on a Friday night. I did not take this advice (I am not much of a planner) and decided that we would just try our luck. As we arrived we were greeted by the manager who told us that he would be able to arrange a table for us- even though the restaurant was fully booked, he still managed to make a plan. We were then greeted by our charming waiter who immediately took our drink orders. I had the rum and raspberry margarita and John had the Tequila Beer option. My Margareta was delicious. The Tequila beer was quite sweet and tastes more like a cider than beer- we both enjoyed it as it is very different. The menu is well laid out and easy to read- I always enjoy menus that are short and sweet. You also have the option of making your own meal as they have a menu to choose all the ingredients separately. I chose to have the vegetarian hard shell tacos- this was absolutely delicious. I could not fault this meal. The refried beans were perfectly prepared and the lime infusion worked so well with the dish and made it such a special taste sensation. John had the Original Burrito which consisted of beef strips with the lime infused rice and black beans. This was as John said "the best Mexican food he'd ever had". The vibe at Salsa was great with everyone being extremely festive and the music playing enhanced the mood. I am very impressed and will definitely recommend Salsa as a great night out! We will definitely be returning.

First time at the Bedfordview branch. Service was great, never had a empty glass on the table, food came quick, super friendly and helpful. <br/><br/>The food and cocktails were good, everyone enjoyed their meal. <br/><br/>I wish they had a smoking section - then I would never have left. 😊

We enjoyed a fun girls evening here at this really popular restaurant last night. It was literally packed and you needed a reservation to even get through the door.<br/>Open plan and fun decor, the vibe was pumping, with about three birthday parties during the course of the evening. We shared a jug of frozen margaritas, and cheesy nachos, and the hottest chilli poppers ever, to start!<br/>The menu also boasts the usual Salsa selection, where you can choose your base, and toppings and basically build your own dish - which I love!<br/>The hake burrito was also delicious and we rounded off the evening with some delicious churros and ice cream, and a  flavored tequila (app its good for digestion - the gingerbread one is delicious, just FYI.) Although a bit of a trek, I will certainly visit again - they have some great Mexican festivals planned in the upcoming months too.

What a great Mexican restaurant! The evening didn't start off too well as when we arrived and asked for a table we were rudely told that if we didn't book then we couldn't get a table. He wouldn't even put our names on a waiting list. A table then opened up and the evening then improved. I started off with the tipo tinto rum and raspberry margarita which was amazing, my friend also tried the blood orange margarita which he said was great! I ate the Chilanga taco and my friends had nacho's which were all very delicious! Overall the food was fresh and tasty and it was a great evening!

One of the most enjoyable eating experiences I've had...<br/>Outstanding concept, food and service at Salsa Bedford... reasonable prices... love the fact that I can build my own meal and keep it wheat-free... best churros I've tasted since tasting the real thing (ie. authentic Mexican-homemade in Los Angeles) years ago... pics speak for themselves... blown away

Been a while since we did mexican & was looking forward to the experience - not disappointed at all. Shared nachos as a starter, missus then had the soft taco with chicken & veggie chips & I created my own beef buritto with string fries - tasty to the last bite. What a vibe, gr8 concept - will definitely be returning for round #2!

I'm a fussy Mexican food appreciator. After all I was a regular at Catina Tequila in Brixton and Amigos at Bruma. This new addition to the Mexican food stage, is impressive and tasty. I really enjoyed the food. The menu is crap to order from. The waiters will get better at explaining the food. This is a full house place, book or be disappointed. I don't always give great ratings, but it makes going to Cafe Mexhico, a drab. I like clean and hygienic. This does it for me.<br/><br/>Enjoy!!!!

What an awesome addition to Bedford Centre. <br/>A great vibey restaurant with good service and great food.<br/>For starters we shared the nachos. I had the soft taco with chicken for mains. Everyone was really happy with their meals 🌮🌯<br/>It seems to be a fantastic place to celebrate your birthday with lively music and good vibes.<br/>Definitely will be going back for more.
Bianca Daniels
Was there Friday for dinner, place was packed but they managed to accommodate 4 people until 7h30pm. <br/><br/>Atmosphere was awesome, the music, the people and just over all was good. The food however really could have being better especially for the price you are paying. My friends had the soft shell tacos with the beef and the beef was not as tasty as the chicken. Disappointed in the food, as we did have high expectations. <br/><br/>Other than that, the craft tequila was different lol good for those that want a change in tequila.
Andre Breytenbach
Very nice vibe, they recently opened so no surprizes they were packed for Sunday lunch. The music was pumping and a real jol. For a "shopping Centre" venue I was very impressed. The food was nice, nothing spectacular and very expensive.  Be prepared to pay if you want to fill your tummy!  If we feel like Mexican food there are not many options on the East Rand are there?
Chantel
I arrived there and asked for a table of 2 and a space for the pram the manger dismissed me and said we full . I asked how long if I wanted a table he flat out ignored me and helped the 3 people behind me with no booking but they dropped the owners name and amazingly got a table that we could have gotten. <br/>I guess if you don't drop the owners name you don't get helped!!!! I then patiently asked again how long it would take for a table and was told an hour and then he ignored me again ! I will never be back so we went to catch and had a lovely meal with great service and guess what a polite friendly and manager !
Lucianrajah
Some of the best take-away Mexican food I've had with a great setting, fantastic staff and a well themed restuarant. Delicious food (regardless of what you order). Sad though, it's horribly let down by the price. The same quality (albeit non-Mexican) can be had for much less.
Fortheloveoffood
<br/>When I first saw the initial signage coming up at the old premises of Rich I started getting really excited about the prospects of a Mexican restaurant in our area. . I love Mexican food and we don't have loads of choices in the area. I walked passed Salsa every day and saw how it's being built, and I saw it was good.<br/><br/>I knew they had two others restaurants in Parkhurst and Fourways and I read all the reviews- I knew we had something good on our hands.<br/><br/>The final outcome is spectacular and that made me even more excited coming here. Very well bespoke furniture, sugar skulls all over the place, stunning bar and very comfortable upholstered chairs. This place screams- come out and play!<br/><br/>I had to pull some strings to get a booking last night, they were over booked- something I have never seen at any restaurants in Bedford centre.<br/><br/>We arrived at the restaurant and and sounded like a bee hive, buzzing from people enjoy themselves. There was a bit of confusion with our booking but they promptly sorted it out.<br/><br/>The first of many mangers came to apologize about the confusion- but there weren't any real issue we were very chilled.<br/><br/>Our waiter, Patriot was amazing and to be honest I've never seen such good service at any restaurant in my life. Whenever our glasses were empt a random waiter will clear it up and that also went for plates and anything else on our table- it was impeccable service.<br/><br/>I ordered a pineapple and chilly margarita, it was tangy and sweet with a definite kick to it- yummy.<br/><br/>I also ordered a habanero and orange craft tequila which was also fantastic. - yes they have an extensive range of craft tequila a definite must when you visit.<br/><br/>I had to try their nachos but could not find a starter portion on the menu, but no worries our wonderful waiter said he will organize a starter portion for me and my wife to share. Oh my goodness I’m very picky about nachos but I have to say it was some of the best if not the best I have ever had- besides my own of course- lol. It was seasoned to perfection and had layers of oozing cheese with a generous portion of guacamole. The Mexican ground beef was wonderful with great seasoning and not too spicy at all. A normal portion will easily be enough for 4 people as a starter. I will return to Salsa for just the nachos.<br/><br/>Next a had a blood orange margarita- a bit too tart but also very refreshing.<br/><br/>My wife had a jalapeño and watermelon margarita which I liked a lot more. It was sweet and spectacularly spicy.<br/><br/>Another manager came to say hello, he was one of the original owners who started the Salsa brand, what a pleasure to see people with passion. He offered us another craft tequila on the house to say thanks for the support.<br/><br/>For mains we received a sheet of paper to build your own meal- seems this is becoming quite a popular method of ordering.<br/><br/>I ordered the soft shell tacos with pulled pork, sweet and spicy cucumber and tomato with selantro rice, chilly corn and cheddar cheese. And a side of skinny fries. The presentation was great with a wooden board and the chips in a metal tin with bespoke paper catching up any grease or sauce. It was very tasty and well seasoned, the pulled pork had a great sweetness to it and all the individual components came very well together. My only critique was that the tacos were a bit cold, however the wooden board was actually quite warm. And I could not find the cheese- I think they left it out. Nonetheless it was brilliant.<br/><br/>The skinny fries was awesome and very well fried and the seasoning was perfect.<br/><br/>My wife had a burrito with her own trimmings it was so much food she could not finish it. I had a taste of hers and I will definitely have a burrito next time.<br/><br/>To top it all of the head chef Melusi came to say hi, what could be better than that? I have never had a chef come to my table to say hello at any other restaurant, that clenched the deal right there.<br/><br/>I will definitely be coming a regular at this place it's spectacular and have never seen such great service and attention and detail before.
Bleedingears
Nice setting although fairly commercial in feel. It has a similar menu where you tick the box of the items you want and hand the finished menu to the waiter. I had tacos with chicken, beans, butternut and brown rice. The food was tasty and the service fair.

New Mexican restaurant<br/>Decor is funky, love their bar design, booth seats, high bar. <br/><br/>Drinks: craft tequila, cocktail jugs, and even virgin cocktails. Catering for all agendas. <br/><br/>Food: nachos is delicious! Their speciality and it's a must! <br/>Taco: hard shell, soft shell, and skinny (lettuces) shell. <br/>Quesadilla: great choices, filling and yum.<br/><br/>Fries: skinny, beetroot, sweet potato fries, all well seasoned and crispy! <br/><br/>Dessert: churros, four pieces sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon, with chocolate sauce and ice cream. <br/><br/>Awesome place for sharing, great for having drinks and snacks also! <br/>
