Delicious traditional style fish and chips! I cannot recommend them enough!
The service at this particular branch has also been quite good, very prompt and responsive.
They're a lot tastier than places like Fishaways (in my opinion) if you're craving some good old school fish and chips. Have also been here to just buy and obscene amount of chips to have with other meals; it's always a hit!

11/10! I eat chips 2 to 3 times a week (I have some Irish blood) and I can declare they make the best chips in South Africa.
The chips come in a little pizza box that would not even close as the chips are jammed in.
The shop is inside the BP shop and is very authentic. This is a must for take aways!

i ordered this fish and chips from Jimmy's killer fish Norwood and paid R59 excluding the delivery fee food was cold and dry this was supposed to be a large chips but i got extra small instead i sent them a message of WhatsApp asking them that if food was worthy the price i paid i didn't a response I'm not gonna buy that from them again

We ordered some prawns and fish as well as the prawns and calamari. It arrived relatively fast and we received an extra chips as part of the promotion. The prawns were cooked well; however, we ordered two different flavorsbut both meals had peri peri flavouring. The calamari was huge and slightly rubbery. The chips were also quite oily. The fish was cooked well though! Overall, all the food was under seasoned but the flavours were good.

The chips are good but they advertise two combos that appear on their overhead menu screens (Feast for Four(meat) and Feast for Four(fish)) that according to their staff they do not sell.

The slap chips are what I love. It simply value for money and does the trick when you in the mood for slap chips and junk food. <br/><br/>The customer service is ok depending on mood and who serves you. What really irritates me is that they have a standard delivery fee even thou I am down the road from them.

This is a lovely little spot to get a good dose of slap chips and some fish. There are the healthier options available but after a long week who wants to eat a salad?<br/><br/>Their portions are huge and so filling. The spot is quaint, blink and you might miss it. It’s worth a try if you’ve got a craving for some freshly fried slap chips.<br/><br/>The service is ok, nothing exceptional.

Reasonably priced junk food franchise. You probably wouldn't want to indulge too often, for health reasons, but if you want an old fashioned vienna, polony and chips, or some fried fish, and you live in the North-East of Joburg, this is a good Halaal option.

We often order take away from this branch! The food is always excellent and the service is superb. The deliveryman brings a range of sauces ( in their original squeeze bottles and caddy) which can be added in the comfort of your home! Its such a personal touch - unlike just throwing sachets into your order like most other- well all others do! Ps even with delivery the food is always piping hot and ready to eat as soon as it arrived - no need to reheat!
