I have been here 2 times before & on both occasions I was not impressed by the standard of food served at this restaurant. Everything served is nothing out of the ordinary as I can prepare the very same dishes myself & even do a much better job.

This was my first time eating here yesterday and the food was terrible. The roasted pork was overcooked and dried out. The beef curry had more fat in it then actual meat. The calamari was very rubbery and the waffles tasted more like eggs then an actual dessert. The food was also cold as well. The only thing i enjoyed was the chicken stir-fry which is made right in front of you. About an hour later i experienced severe stomach cramps and diarrhea. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

Very nice food. Great service. Very nice atmosphere. Large variety of food. Great value for money. Bit expensive but affordable. If you have only mains it'll be cheaper somewhere else but if you have starters, mains and dessert it's worth it

There are no words to describe how terrible the food here was. Not the first time we've got an invite to eat here and hated the food. I will never return. What you can expect from their food is soggy and unpalatable food! To make matters worse the crowd over powers this place and there is no one to even usher you to a free seat, so you stand around looking lost and after asking people if you can sit with them eventually you will find a table YOURSELF... To further enhance my sadness at this place they attempted to serve the biggest coffee snob not only Ricoffy... but more like a dilute solution of it. Never and by never I mean not even if the second coming is at hand will I ever step foot into this place again.

Went here for a birthday party recently, the staff were super friendly however the food wasn't as great. There wasn't a very large vegetarian selection and the buffet seemed to be a bit of a disaster as some of the food was cold. The desert wasn't any better

I was here yesterday for a birthday event. Nice service being greeted by the waiters upon entry. The atmosphere is very nice. But the food is rather disappointing. The cold and hot starters were nicely prepared. As for the main course...The beef was dry. The food was okay. The DESSERT was okay. I couldn't tell what dessert was there. Standard buffet food, unfortnantly the other places were packed, so we settled for buffet. The only real stand out dish was the beef stroganoff, the rest average. Glasses also appeared dirty.

This was the WORST buffet I have ever experienced! The food quality was along the lines of a high school canteen... Although, I feel this statement is degrading to school canteens!!! It was honestly horrendous. Please , don't waste your time going there.

The food there has gone from the best buffet to off the radar. One would be better off ordering a pizza and staying home. This used to be one of the best buffets in town but over the years it has degraded. Sad to see what it has become

The worst food in the HISTORY of mankind, old food, did not even touch the "steak" strips @ the stir fry, to ashamed to take a photo of the food, they might throw me out. Service? What service. I told the manager at the till how bad my experience was and how bad the food. He did not even respond, just rang my bill, yes there were no waiter to assist, and he did not even have the courtesy to apologies. Is this the standard Tsogo Sun, well Gold Reef City won't see me again EVER!

Boston BBQ is a place where you are able to eat as much as you like with a ton of choices. The buffet is a really awesome way to taste a bunch of different dishes which makes it appealing to everyone. Walking inside you are just overwhelmed by the amount of food available. The only problem I have is that I cant eat enough! Next time I think I will start with the dessert table first then onto mains as I have never had enough space for dessert. Great choice for hungry parties or any kind of function as it will suit all the guests.

Boston BBQ is the only place I have been to a buffet. There is an extensive assortment of dishes. The service is good. Waiters clean up plates quite quickly. The food is average. You don't go here to taste amazing food but more for a buffet experience and novelty to try everything. There are starters, salads, meats, hot desserts, cold desserts, an Indian food section and a Chinese food section.
