It was my first time going to this particular Nando's and I must say I was pretty impressed. I ordered a hot chicken cheese burger with extra sauce. The chicken in the burger was succulent and the burger was full of sauce. I also had a taste of the chicken livers, which were just as delicious. We were there fairly late at night and the service was super quick. I wouldn't mind going back here!

On Wednesday evening (28/06/2017), we decided to get Nando's for dinner. We opted to have it delivered as we both weren't feeling great. I placed the order (A full chicken & 3 sharing sides) at approximately 19h00 and I was told it would be +-45mins, our food had not arrived by 20h00, so I called them to see what was going on. I was told that the food had left and we should receive it shortly. About 10 mins later our order arrived. The sides (chips and 2 x wedges) were ice cold - inedible and the chicken was borderline cold. We told the driver to take the food back, and to please bring a fresh meal.
We called the manager to inform him of what had just happened, he seemed to be aware that there was an issue, as he made mention that this particular order got away from them and a fresh meal would be sent back to us.
Not even 15 mins later a new meal had arrived, and both the chicken and sides were hot and quite honestly, the chicken was actually one of the better ones we've had from Nando's.
I do understand that one always runs the risk of food being cold if it is delivered, however the food was so cold that the chips were hard they were so cold. Which means it had been sitting there for a while.
Anyway the way the staff and management handled the situation was the reason for my rating (and the chicken played a good part).

Nice friendly service with good food to follow,the ambient is clean and a pleasure to sit and relax , enjoyed a great meal with generous portions.Will have absolutely no hesitation in going back.

Food is always good and the service is friendly. They offer espetada here which is my favourite. Always ask for extra basting so it's super saucy.
Found the staff here to super friendly and efficient. The food is as expected from a franchise but I find the service here excellent and would recommend it solely for that.

Iv eaten at many nandos around Durban and johannesburg. This is by far the best nandos iv eaten at.The chicken is so juicy, and they are generous with the basting sauce. The chicken is well done to perfection. The atmosphere is relaxing and calming, ample parking space and great customer service
Nando's is a tried and trust brand by now. Good quality food and the portions are big enough too.
This branch made me wait quite a while for a take away, but they were very apologetic.

This is definitely the best Nandos branch I ever have dealt with as well as eaten at.
The meals are always extremely consistent and the staff always helpful.
When eating in, the tables are always clean and the staff are readily keen to assist.
Super delicious food and amazing service every single time. Staff are friendly and always try their best for the customer. The only issue is that the restaurant is too noisy at peak periods.

I don't often review take-out places, but I have to admit this Nandos franchise is impressive.
My friend showed me this place as the one in Parktown is chaotic - the parking in that centre is a nightmare during lunch time. I do like that Nandos, but the parking there is too stressful.
In contrast this place has a relaxing feel, I enjoy sitting in the cushy booths next to the beautiful cork mural. The service is also excellent, whether you place orders with the cashier/s or waiters/waitresses moving to and fro, they are eager to assist and welcoming.
I don't know if it's a combination of the above, but the food seems better too. I also tried their new offering of chicken prego rolls (comes with sweet chilli sauce and cheese) and a vanilla caprinha. The new dish is a great lunch offering, light and tasty.
The drink surprised me, in a good way! It was so freshing, it's a mixture of vanilla lemonade, fresh mint and lemon. My friend insisted on having one too after she tasted mine.
This is definitely on my list for a nice lunch treat.
Visited Nando's Norwood today with friends.. what an awesome atmosphere. The food was prepared superbly and the service was friendly and warm. Other branches around the country can learn from this

Eaten here several times and have never had a bad experience. Food is always good and served promptly. Manager is helpful, friendly and always attending to patrons. Two thumbs up!
Undoubtedly one of thee better Nandos in Johannesburg. The quality is consistently good, and being a regular, never fails to deliver.

Whether its take away or sit down this Nandos has always provided great service, the staff are attentive and clued up about the menu ( which is always a winner for me)! The new decor is wonderful, it has eliminated the tacky "take your chicken and leave" vibe that the original decor created!
The food is always good for take away or sit in. The store is comfortable and relaxing even with 2 young boys. It can get very busy on weeknights causing long wait for sit in orders.

The staff are super friendly, the food always arrives on time and they always listen to my strange requests. Their chicken espetadas are out of this world, definitely the best dish on the menu, try it in Tangy tomato.

01/2016: This Nandos hapoesns to be my favourite outlet but my last visit was disappointing. I ordered a take away my regular. No skin well done. Nandos please train your stuff correctly. One dies not grill and then take the skin off. Take the skin off them grill, I want some char on my chicken. I worried that there are new stuff members who are not aware of this concept. Please let's sort this out.
2015: Norwood has to be the best Nando's in town, the service is quick, friendly staff. When I say no skin, well done with extra source. its always perfectly done, a little charred.

Delicious food. Best ice teas. Friendly waitresses and surprisingly good coffee ☕ Only lose a star because the area and parking is not the safest. Best Dish: Chicken Espetada with Peri Wedges, absolutely incredible!

Good food with excellent service. Hot and fresh. Outside area needs more lighting.
Store is always neat and tidy.
Service at counter when ordering is most times friendly and efficient.
The grill operators do not always get our orders done as requested so we have to send our meals back.
The waiter who attends to us is always so warm and pleasant, and tries his best to get our order done the way we prefer.
Overall I would say this is one of the better stores we have been too.

Food was good. Nothing beats Nando's flavour. Service was good. Food came quickly. Amenities we're good. Electricity went out during our meal. I don't think the store was prepared. Spent quite a bit of time in the dark before a waiter came to check on us to see if we needed anything
Absolutely love this branch. I work in a nig corporate company for the last 2 years we would order large sum of platters for our corporate events and they always delivered on time. Today I drove all the way to actually come to the branch absolutely clean...fast and has order . Cashiers are friendly and smiling this is what customer service is about.

Clean and inviting environment. Great specials, as always and the meal was great. Just one thing, I just wish the waiters can take more care in ensuring that there are e.g. sauces on each table and things to wipe with etc. To be looking around for them to ask for these is unnecessary.
Nice takeaway spot. Usually easy to find parking. The shop is often busy but that does not mean that you have a long wait. Never had a bad meal. Car guards can be a bit much something but are not threatening.
