Newly renovated . Decor is as Devine as the food

This branch was recently renovated, and it looks stunning, the food is stunning and the waiters know their job

Delicious food. Best ice teas. Friendly waitresses and surprisingly good coffee ☕ Only lose a star because the area and parking is not the safest. Best Dish: Chicken Espetada with Peri Wedges, absolutely incredible!

Good food with excellent service. Hot and fresh. Outside area needs more lighting.

Store is always neat and tidy. Service at counter when ordering is most times friendly and efficient. The grill operators do not always get our orders done as requested so we have to send our meals back. The waiter who attends to us is always so warm and pleasant, and tries his best to get our order done the way we prefer. Overall I would say this is one of the better stores we have been too.

Had a nice meal there. Got our order incorrect.

The service was good but compared to previous experiences it seems like the food quality went down. The one quarter chicken looked like it was raised in a desert area. Chicken livers was good though.

Awesome store. Definitely one of the best Nandos I’ve eaten at. Food is always fresh and top quality! The management at this store definitely on top of their game by a far mile!! Keep it up!

Food was good. Nothing beats Nando's flavour. Service was good. Food came quickly. Amenities we're good. Electricity went out during our meal. I don't think the store was prepared. Spent quite a bit of time in the dark before a waiter came to check on us to see if we needed anything

Absolutely love this branch. I work in a nig corporate company for the last 2 years we would order large sum of platters for our corporate events and they always delivered on time. Today I drove all the way to actually come to the branch absolutely clean...fast and has order . Cashiers are friendly and smiling this is what customer service is about.

Food and service was great!

Clean and inviting environment. Great specials, as always and the meal was great. Just one thing, I just wish the waiters can take more care in ensuring that there are e.g. sauces on each table and things to wipe with etc. To be looking around for them to ask for these is unnecessary.

Nice takeaway spot. Usually easy to find parking. The shop is often busy but that does not mean that you have a long wait. Never had a bad meal. Car guards can be a bit much something but are not threatening.

We order some food on ubereats and it took quite a while to arrive. When it did, some of the food had spilled out and the burgers were a little bit of a mess. The food was warm but slightly bland. Not the best nandos.

The service was really poor. Waited more than half an hour for food, got the wrong order, only to go back and find out that there wasn’t any chicken and the order would take another 20 mins - all without being informed. Really disappointed!

Not the first time I've received undercooked chicken. Let's just hope I dont get sick again. Will be the final time I ever order from you guys

Placed a delivery order last night @ 20:45. Called 2nd time, and they had it as a collection even tho I specifically requested the card machine, which was confirmed in the 2nd call. Food arrived at 22:30! Worse still, the food was cold. Horrible experience.

I called Nandos Norwood to place my order for delivery like we normally do with my colleagues at work, I had the misfortune of speaking to a Nomvula who had absolutely no phone etiquette. I explained numerous times to her that our staff always orders their lunch from them and we get everything delivered. I was so disgusted to have to go through peoples offices to get their numbers just so that she can see that deliveries have been made before to us, it seems my contact number and history of orders was just not enough to convince her that i was not making stories up by saying we do order from them. Instead of me as a customer losing his cool on the phone instead I was the one telling her to calm down and address Nandos' clients appropriately and in a respectful manner. It was such a terrible experience I am going to share this with my colleagues. It would be quite sad for a franchise to lose clients because of such behavior from their staff.

It was my first time going to this particular Nando's and I must say I was pretty impressed. I ordered a hot chicken cheese burger with extra sauce. The chicken in the burger was succulent and the burger was full of sauce. I also had a taste of the chicken livers, which were just as delicious. We were there fairly late at night and the service was super quick. I wouldn't mind going back here!

Terrible customer service. They flat out refused to give me extra relish with the pap even when I was willing to pay for it. And whenever we ask for something extra they never do it. Plus the chicken has be burnt and hard to chew the last 2 times.

On Wednesday evening (28/06/2017), we decided to get Nando's for dinner. We opted to have it delivered as we both weren't feeling great. I placed the order (A full chicken & 3 sharing sides) at approximately 19h00 and I was told it would be +-45mins, our food had not arrived by 20h00, so I called them to see what was going on. I was told that the food had left and we should receive it shortly. About 10 mins later our order arrived. The sides (chips and 2 x wedges) were ice cold - inedible and the chicken was borderline cold. We told the driver to take the food back, and to please bring a fresh meal. <br/><br/>We called the manager to inform him of what had just happened, he seemed to be aware that there was an issue, as he made mention that this particular order got away from them and a fresh meal would be sent back to us. <br/><br/>Not even 15 mins later a new meal had arrived, and both the chicken and sides were hot and quite honestly, the chicken was actually one of the better ones we've had from Nando's. <br/><br/>I do understand that one always runs the risk of food being cold if it is delivered, however the food was so cold that the chips were hard they were so cold. Which means it had been sitting there for a while.<br/><br/>Anyway the way the staff and management handled the situation was the reason for my rating (and the chicken played a good part). <br/><br/>Nando's Norwood, we still have your back :)

Review edited today as I called in and shouted at because I asked if the special was still on<br/><br/><br/>Best service in the area, staff always goes the extra mile to ensure client satisfaction. My go to for a no cooking day. Always willing to help when you have an issue and the staff ensures that the issues are resolved with in record braking time. Thank you for the impeccable service.

Nice friendly service with good food to follow,the ambient is clean and a pleasure to sit and relax , enjoyed a great meal with generous portions.Will have absolutely no hesitation in going back.

So i work 400m away from nandos. Placed my order and it got delivered 45min later. that's fine but my order came without cutlery nd i ordered the pap n livers. The garlic roll I ordered was greasy n oily. Called back spoke to Floyd the manager he apologized n said I'll send Ur cutlery. So I told him the food is horrible u just going to re imburse me with cutlery. said he can't do anything. anyways I said okay send the cutlery. No one came half n hour later.. Called back n said I want a refund the food is cold n super bad service. The manger then sends the driver who delivered saying that the driver took long for the food n he should refund me. That's pathetic. Even though we requested a delivery the service should be the same as if we were sitting infront of u. Really disappointing. Also once the lady refused to sell me extra tomato sauce. She said one comes with my meal n i can't order more. what if I like more tomato sauce??

Would help if the staff picked up he phone so I can place an order for delivery. I actually gave up and phoned another place after trying almost 10 times. Really not a great impression!

I usually call in and collect in person. The service is ok. Our offices are 2 minutes away but I seldom order for delivery as it's once taken the 1 hour and a half to deliver AFTER I called to follow up about my order.<br/><br/>The food is as tasty and delicious as Nandos can be. <br/>All that is letting them down is their delivery service, when going in store the waiters are very friendly and efficient. <br/><br/>The hot pot is my go to meal if I feel like ordering something homely.

Love Nando's. The chicken is always good and you cant get tired of the taste. It was the first time we ate at this branch in particular and it was buzzing! We waited a while to be seated but I'm guessing it was over the weekend so they probably get super busy. Wedges made to perfection and only a slight mishap with our salad. Only downside the toilets were not clean and the floors were extremely wet near the washing basin. They were busy and the traffic inside the establishment was likey the cause of a few glitches. Overall nice vibe and staff 👍

One of the best Nando's branches.<br/><br/>Food is always good and the service is friendly. They offer espetada here which is my favourite. Always ask for extra basting so it's super saucy.

Found the staff here to super friendly and efficient. The food is as expected from a franchise but I find the service here excellent and would recommend it solely for that.

Iv eaten at many nandos around Durban and johannesburg. This is by far the best nandos iv eaten at.The chicken is so juicy, and they are generous with the basting sauce. The chicken is well done to perfection. The atmosphere is relaxing and calming, ample parking space and great customer service

Nando's is a tried and trust brand by now. Good quality food and the portions are big enough too. <br/>This branch made me wait quite a while for a take away, but they were very apologetic. <br/>The service is good overall.

Very impressed!we happened to pass this Nandos and popped in to get takeaways burger and chips were fresh and delicious I am super impressed by their service and taste. Very happy to drive past 3 other Nandos to support this one

This is definitely the best Nandos branch I ever have dealt with as well as eaten at.<br/><br/>The meals are always extremely consistent and the staff always helpful.<br/><br/>When eating in, the tables are always clean and the staff are readily keen to assist.

Super delicious food and amazing service every single time. Staff are friendly and always try their best for the customer. The only issue is that the restaurant is too noisy at peak periods.

I don't often review take-out places, but I have to admit this Nandos franchise is impressive.<br/><br/>My friend showed me this place as the one in Parktown is chaotic - the parking in that centre is a nightmare during lunch time. I do like that Nandos, but the parking there is too stressful.<br/><br/>In contrast this place has a relaxing feel, I enjoy sitting in the cushy booths next to the beautiful cork mural. The service is also excellent, whether you place orders with the cashier/s or waiters/waitresses moving to and fro, they are eager to assist and welcoming.<br/><br/>I don't know if it's a combination of the above, but the food seems better too. I also tried their new offering of chicken prego rolls (comes with sweet chilli sauce and cheese) and a vanilla caprinha. The new dish is a great lunch offering, light and tasty.<br/><br/>The drink surprised me, in a good way! It was so freshing, it's a mixture of vanilla lemonade, fresh mint and lemon. My friend insisted on having one too after she tasted mine.<br/><br/>This is definitely on my list for a nice lunch treat.

Visited Nando's Norwood today with friends.. what an awesome atmosphere. The food was prepared superbly and the service was friendly and warm. Other branches around the country can learn from this

Eaten here several times and have never had a bad experience. Food is always good and served promptly. Manager is helpful, friendly and always attending to patrons. Two thumbs up!

Undoubtedly one of thee better Nandos in Johannesburg. The quality is consistently good, and being a regular, never fails to deliver. <br/><br/>Staff are warm and friendly, ensuring that orders are always correct and on time. <br/><br/>They're the reason I maintain my regular 'fix' of Nandos!<br/><br/>

Whether its take away or sit down this Nandos has always provided great service, the staff are attentive and clued up about the menu ( which is always a winner for me)! The new decor is wonderful, it has eliminated the tacky "take your chicken and leave" vibe that the original decor created!

The food is always good for take away or sit in. The store is comfortable and relaxing even with 2 young boys. It can get very busy on weeknights causing long wait for sit in orders.

I wish I could give this place 0/10. The service is terrible and so is the management. I ordered and a minute later my cousin ordered and we sat at the table and the waiter brings my food 10 minute later with out my cold drink which I paid for and she didn't bring my cousins food. I confront the manager and he tells me "no it is because we ordered separated and that's why it's coming at separate times". Why rubbish. My cousins food comes 5 minutes after mine while he is telling me to eat and i'm waiting for his. So now my food is cold. Never coming here again. Nandos Rosebank is the best!!!

One of the best nandos in jhb. Very nice new fresh restaurant. Seating extremely comfortable. The food comes out in good time and staff are friendly.

This is one of the best Nando’s in Joburg! <br/><br/>The staff are super friendly, the food always arrives on time and they always listen to my strange requests. Their chicken espetadas are out of this world, definitely the best dish on the menu, try it in Tangy tomato. <br/><br/>It's great to eat in or takeout and they deliver.

Great store, consistently great food, magic service. Best Nandos for me.Has all the convenience of a comfortable eat in experience, they do deliveries, take out and call and collect which suites most situations

01/2016: This Nandos hapoesns to be my favourite outlet but my last visit was disappointing. I ordered a take away my regular. No skin well done. Nandos please train your stuff correctly. One dies not grill and then take the skin off. Take the skin off them grill, I want some char on my chicken. I worried that there are new stuff members who are not aware of this concept. Please let's sort this out.<br/><br/>2015: Norwood has to be the best Nando's in town, the service is quick, friendly staff. When I say no skin, well done with extra source. its always perfectly done, a little charred.
