Mugg & Bean

I had a quick dinner here about two weeks ago.  As it was a Friday evening around 6pm, they were really busy, but the waiter was quick to take my drinks order.   The Mixed Berry, Coconut and Lemon Freeze Duo was very refreshing.  To get the waiter to take the food order took a few tries and about 10 minutes later I was able to place the order.  Finally the food arrived.  The Mexican Street Corn Fritters could have had a bit more corn in them (my taste and not to say there is anything wrong), and they tasted great with the dipping sauce.  The BBQ burger and chips was good, however not medium as I asked for.  Overall this Mugg & Bean has never disappointed and I will go back when in Mall@Reds.

Went by Mugg & Bean at Mall @ Reds for some coffee and cake for a birthday. Service was a bit slow. But variety of cakes is wonderful and the cakes themselves are so delicious! Not shy with the size of the slices. Wrap was very tasty, well seasoned and very filling. Mugg and Bean never disappoints. Great place for a quick coffee or lunch and even some cake!

This is one of My favourite coffee places in rooihuiskraal. We frequent this place quiet often to enjoy the variety of coffee this place has to offer. They continously changing the menu to keep it fresh and updated. My wife and I are always trying the new offerings on the menu. Enjoy this place alot.

This is one of my favorite places to sit outside and enjoy a coffee, the staff are friendly and welcoming, have had burnt coffee once, my favorite has to be the cappuccinos with cream. The cakes are not are not great, it's limited and filled with sugar, sickly sweet.

Today I met my grandparents for a coffee date at Mugg 'n Bean in Reds Mall.

There is seating outside where you have a fountain view and also inside with lovely coffee aromas.

A table close to the entrance in the mall were chosen. It might get a little load in this space with music above your head, the chatter of other restaurant goers and people wanting to fit in some last minute shopping before they retire for the day. All the sounds mixed together may be overwhelming but if you engage yourself in the company of your loved ones, these sounds will fade.
We sat on comfy seats with space around us to move our legs freely and just relax on the Friday afternoon.

We had bottomless coffee, the house blend and it was fresh and tasted great. In my opinion, no auger needs to be added to the coffee as the coffee itself is delicious just the way it is. Initially we did not want to eat but the vibe of the coffee shop/restaurant was so relaxing and friendly that we wanted to stay a bit longer so we ordered Toasted Chicken Mayo Sandwiches. It is a simple and plain choose but it is not presented in such a way. The toast had the perfect crunch, the filling had just the right amount of chicken and Mayo and it was presented neatly with minimal garnish, the type you would actually want to eat. It looked like a gourmet presentation instead of plain and simple as some might expect with a plain dish.

All the waiters are neatly dress and d in their black and green uniforms forming a beautiful unity and image for the coffee shop/ restaurant. Ferguson was a great waiter with big smiles. My grandpa had to get up somewhere to get his attention but after that Ferguson made sure to visit our table often enough to make sure everything was still in order.

I am a big fan of Mugg 'n Bean and will be visiting other outlets soon.
