Had an unfortunate incident with a very rude customer who decided her entitlement would supersede everyone else's shopping experience . Well unfortunately for her, I asked the manager for assistance and it was dealt with swiftly. The fact that other customers came to me and said thank you, well done and congratulations for standing up to that Karen...sometimes being gatvol works. Sommer report them straight to management so you don't have to deal with their nonsense.
Well done to the team, from security who went to get the manager, to the manager and the lovely ladies at the till. Fish guy is always the best. Dankie julle. Ndo livhuwa.
Hard enough being new in an area without having to deal with the different Karens one comes across in the world.
And as I said to that girl child, next time just be considerate and speak nicely to another human being. Word to the wise.

Absolutely love this woolies! They have a cafe and open at 8am which is so convenient for before work coffee runs! Their food is delish and service is quick and friendly! I’m obsessed with their coffee frappe 😱

I usually have a great experience with the store especially the cashiers and the people who work there. But today I took the viennnas that were supposed to be recalled and the store manager (who is unfriendly and never really interacts with customers) refused to take them. As they were not in original packaging and no receipt. I understand they could have come from any where but the email from Woolworths did not explain the process. I did not have the receipt- even though I used my reward card.
The manager did not even bother to come and tell me the reason and left it to the supervisor. I think very cowardly of him.
If the process was explained to customers it would be helpful.
The manager of Dainfern is unfriendly and should not be in the front of the store.

Don't think I need to say much, it is a well stocked store with great staff that are always willing to help you find that one item. Probably one of the busiest Food Markets around, with wonderful on site bakery, meat and fish counters, and a buzzing café. Indeed, I have friends that live across Fourways that make their way to this store in spite of having another right on their doorstep. The produce is always Woolies quality for freshness and seasonal availability. 10/10 for this store. Make sure to check their weekly special offers and save your hard earned rands.
