This is your typical Chicken Licken. It is difficult to go to this restaurant with people who are sensitive to hot food, as almost everything is hot that they offer. Prices are good, staff friendly, and worth a visit for a small butger or chicken wings.

So I visited the new Chicken Licken in the new food court area. Very nice looking store, however, the service was terrible. Place my order and waited, as I waited one after the other before me left with their food, until I was the only person remaining. When my number was called i told the lady at the counter that it was for me( also there was no one else waiting ) she then insisted on me showing my receipt. I gave her the receipt and asked why she didn't bother to check anyone else's receipts. She thought this was very funny then proceeded to have a good cackle about it. I told her that i was a little offended and she just said ok. I didnt get her name, I wont ever go back there and I will share my off experience with my friends.

First time in 4 years I tried the franchise again . The meals pricing is good and is gud value for money but I now remember why I don't support them . Chicken is slimey and bland , you have to drench it in their chilli sauce to get any flavour . Maybe I will wait another 4 years again ......

When I am craving some deep fried chicken or a snack type supper I get some Chicken Licken. I don't order the chicken pieces as it is quite big and fatty. It's also difficult to get the piece you want if it's a specific piece of the chicken that you are looking for. I like the hot wing snack. It's a great light meal and reasonably priced. I also love the chicken slyder burgers. Sometimes the chips are not nice because they have been refried a few times. An absolute must is the soul fire sauce to go with your chicken. Buy the bottle, it's better than keep buying the sachets of sauce. It's a pity they stopped giving complimentary sauce but there is still complimentary spicy flavouring for your chips.
