Pizzas from a woodifre oven! Their pizzas have become the to to pizza for the family. They might not be as cheap as Pizza hut but there is no comparison in terms of taste. Highly recommended. The beef godfather is a must try. The burgers also were much better than I expected. Only thing I would caution, they can sometimes take a bit long with the pizzas during the evening when they there very busy.

You can't go wrong with La Padrino Emmarentia, if youre looking for the tastiest fire baked pizza in Johannesburg. Lots of great options on the menu. (Vegetarian options too.) Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Great 👌

Delicious oven baked pizza. Most customers always call ahead and collect. Very busy at peak times. The kids love the margheritas. Lots of filling on the meat pizzas.

This is my favourite pizza joint in Joburg. The clay-oven pizzas are delicious, and the extra-large size is quite massive. They have quite a variety of pizzas and toppings, and allow you to add extra toppings at a reasonable price. The seating is not great, which usually causes me to opt for take-away instead of sit in.

We called in an order to pick up yesterday but decided to sit down when we arrived. The staff was super friendly, helpful and full of smiles. I had the Spaghetti Bolognese with Mince and my mates ordered a large pizza, half Stagioni, half Fagiola. (basically half steak, half baked beans) Both were delicious after a long day out. La Padrino's didn't disappoint.... will definitely drop by again.

This is some seriously good pizza. A bit on the pricey side but they dont skimp with the toppings. My favourite is the baked beans pizza which is a must try! Their steak pizza as well as the chicken with feta and pepperdew was really good too. The last order was a baked a bit too much. But still a firm favourite nevertheless

If ever you are in the mood for good pizza - this needs to be your only stop. A change from your regular 'well-known' options and this can definitely be tasted in the flavour. The latest pizza we had was beef, salami, peppers, obviously chilli topped with their delicious sauce - its really the sauce topping that makes the pizza and a fav for me. I have been here for a sit down meal, its always order and go - because the pizza is so good you want to enjoy it in the comfort and privacy of your home without any eyes judging your eating etiquette..

This is my favourite pizza place in Joburg. Consistently good woodfired pizza. Toppings are always generous and delicious. Our favourites are the Mexicana pizza with added feta cheese. The La Rolla folded pizza with chips, cheese and meat is also perfect comfort food.

Just thinking of their lapadrino chicken burgers is making my mouth water! You'd think their speciality is pizza, but no, everything on the menu is devine. Not to mention the pizza slice sizes are huuuge! A real #HiddenGem when wanting quality food without the effort of going too far🙌

Their wood fire pizza is the best. Extra large pizzas are 40cm so it's nice to get a few amongst a group. There isn't much space to sit inside, but there are tables outside so its good for eat in or take away. Beware the long waiting time for your order, but it's worth it.
