Love heading there for a nice breakfast and coffee. The quality of the food is great and the freshly baked goods amazing. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It just lacks ambience since the restaurant got redone.
Very up and down relationship with this outlet, such a great spot for breakfast but the quality of food is always a role of the dice. Today it was great! Service was great, taste and flavor of the meal was excellent, sourdough was fresh. Please keep it up peeps!!

Never a complaint at this establishment the service is always great and attentive. With the coffee made with a heart and as strong like I love it.
The eggs are always perfectly prepared with fluffy and yet crunchy on the edges waffles. Seasoned to perfection.
Situated in Lonehill shopping centre and very close to lonehill parkrun on Saturdays vo vo telo makes artisan breads and homemade pasta and cauliflower pizza bases too.I had a spiced chai with salami,tomato,cheese pastrami it was nice . Enjoyed spiced chai and service is friendly
I've been to this Vovo Telo a few times now for both breakfast and lunch and I have never been disappointed. The food there is delicious and the service excellent. The ice coffee is seriously yum and salads are huge and full of goodies. Def recommend if your looking for a good breakfast/lunch spot.
Vovo Telo is walking distance from our house, so is one of our go to coffee shops! Service is good, coffee is also really good! They are also pet friendly, so our Labrador gets an outing every now and again which is great! Also really enjoy sitting inside in the mornings and watching the guys making the pastries and the smell of the bread baking is incredible! Really enjoy this spot
Had a lovely breakfast here after gym. The place fills up very fast due to the park runs.
I thoroughly enjoyed the English scones with the pulled pork filling.
It came in a portion of two topped with an egg each.
I must say I would've opted for the mayo on the side as it was a lot and overpowered the dish.
But the pork was sweet and crispy, really good. The portion was large as well.
Their cappuccinos were amazing as always.

They have lovely Banting brekkie options and wonderful sarmies.
You can also buy bread from them which they freshly make.
Love having breakfast here. Not often you can find a place that makes the whole family happy but this one does. Staff are friendly and coffee is great too.
Love this small cafe. Always receive service with a smile with extremely friendly and helpful staff. My favourite is their pizzas with a thin Base and tons of rocket. Also i love how their orange juice is freshly squeezed.
After completing park run, this is our go-to breakfast spot! Tried quite afew different things from the menu and each one has been delicious! The ingredients used are so fresh and wholesome. Great service & great vibe!
Lovely relaxed coffee shop/restaurant in Fourways, love the salads! The decor is modern and trendy and any Vovo Telo restaurant is a winner and recommended by me

Had a mezze platter and pulled pork fold over wrap. Food, as always, very tasty and well presented . Pity about the noise coming from the kitchen!! Sitting on the patio trying to enjoy a relaxing lunch, wasn't happening!!! Had to ask the manager to get the kitchen staff to keep the noise down🙄🙄🙄 Vovo Telo you should train your staff to understand the difference between a restaurant environment and a taxi rank
I am a big fan of Vovo Telo, and the Lonehill branch is as great as the rest. It is so convenient to have breakfast here after Parkrun on a Saturday. Or pop over for coffee before work. Great staff, with excellent and fresh goodies always. The new Banting bread is really yummy too.
Stopped off here after our run this morning for coffee and breakfast! The coffee is amazing!! They don't have toasted sandwiches as the bread they make is difficult to toast but the manager made a special open toasted cheese for my daughter which was great!!
Nice healthy options available for breakfast - I had the scrambled egg whites with roasted rosa tomatoes with fresh avo which was delicious
Vovo is one of those places that will always be where you go if you can't be bothered to leave the area. The food is always good, but never blows me away. Service also always seems to be on the slower side. The coffee is good though and you'll never leave disappointed, but you also won't leave with your mind blown.

I love the laid back feel of the place. The hippie variety of juices is amazing. The sandwiches are tasty. The service is good and speedily. They also have a great selection of fresh breads.
All the Vovo Telo restaurants are very good but Lonehill is our favorite. I had the Stanley 44 which was excellent. I had my eggs scrambled - to perfection!! The corn cake was delicious and the rosa tomatoes and bacon were brilliant. Presentation was spot on. I had mine without mushrooms, a personal preference. The rest of the party also had exquisite food. Only reason I'm scoring the experience a 4.0 was they were out of my favorite desert - the Portuguese Custard tartlets. Oh, the service was also a tad slow owing to them being extra busy. I can highly recommend the Volvo Telo - you won't be disappointed.
This place is a little gem.
They have Frankies. Which is one of the best locally made soda companies. It's awesome. Try the lemonade or old fashioned creamsoda.
The staff are warm and welcoming which puts you straight at ease.
Try the Strawberry BLT. It's alittle weird
But it is extremely good.
I make excuses just to drive up to lonehill to come try it. So worth it :)
Discovered this gem after a year of living in lonehill! And I am happy I did! The vibe is relaxed, decor is different and interesting. Friends and I had breakfast here, the food was fresh and tasty and our waitress was so friendly! We will definitely be back for lunch soon!

Freshly squeezed juices are amazing, the teas are also great and served in awesome silver wear, I often go there for breakfast and they make the poached eggs perfectly! Still need to try more from the bakery selection though
I love the decor, the relaxed vibe and the outside area undercover with a couple of gorgeous old velvet couches. The rectangular pizza is delicious. And the chicken, pesto and pecorino sandwich is heavenly. Always a win for breakfast, lunch or a coffee!
Felt like a change and came here for a brunch. I had the salmon and egg croissant but I didn't eat the croissant basket. Everything else was good. Nice venue for brunch but next time I'll ask for a soft croissant rather. Great vibe
Great outdoor or indoor vibe, the food is well presented, generous portions and well priced for what you get. The basil pesto pasta with chicken is delicious with a hot cup of Red cappuccino. I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast or lunch!

Live music is a lovely idea but it should be acoustic so that the volume is not too loud where you have to raise your voice to be heard.
They make a decent poached egg. And their rye bread is tasty.
Vovo Telo leaves you with a sense curiosity. I will be going back to try out more of their menu.

This is the perfect place to meet for a coffee and breakfast over a catch up with friends. The wooden deck outside offers you a nice opportunity to catch some sunlight (bring sunscreen of you plan a long catch up!)

I went with a classic creamy scrambled eggs and bacon on ciabatta.
Eggs were tasty and expertly cooked and the ciabatta was tasty. The perfect compliment was the freshly squeezed orange juice.
We went on a Sunday, the day a band were hired to sing on the deck. Instead of being soothing and relaxing, the effect was the opposite.
The music was a too loud, forcing us to shout at one another to be heard. Not the ideal atmosphere for a coffee shop. We moved inside, which was then fine.
What a great place to have lunch. We have been here several time and also had a good nice meal. We have been disappointed the last time we went as they did not have stock of anything and the pick n pay was open a few meters away. The food was also not the best on this particular day
I will be going back and I just hoping it is not a trend they have started and a once off mistake.

I went here for breakfast and had the most amazing coffee and delicious, creamy scrambled eggs. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a good bakery and excellent coffee!
I LOVE coming here for breakfast! It's got such a great atmosphere and the smell of fresh bread is so inviting. I usually have the smoked salmon and scrambled egg on a croissant. They have a lovely selection of teas and breads. Service is always friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!
Breakfast at Vovo Telo was delicious. The portion sizes were just right to satisfy without leaving that bloated feeling. Their beverage menu is interesting with Chocotelo being a great experience. Definitely worth a visit.
Amazing freshly squeezed Juice, fresh ingredients in their meals and friendly service. There's not much I can fault really. We went for lunch for Mother's Day, the location is nice and quiet, and all the food (we always try everyone's food at the table :)) was great, and as said, fresh. Also price wise, it is affordable for lunch. Really a good experience, and if I am in the area again, I would go back to try some other items on the menu. Thank you!

Vovo Telo has a few branches and as a quirky themed restaurant, the Lonehill setting isn't quite right for this restaurant. As a result the vibe is a little dull.
The menu has many interesting choices which all sound exciting and are sure to confuse you when trying to make a decision what to order. When the food arrives it tastes as good as it sounded on the menu and you will most probably leave having had experienced a meal you had never thought to try.
Service has improved greatly under new management!
Very decent food and good service. The only complaint I have is the size of the tables - very small and cramped.
Attentive staff. When we said we wanted to have the food to share, without us having to ask them, they split it onto separate plates and served to us already split. Fiid was tasty and effectively served
The coffee is great. The bread and foods are nice. The staffs are helpful and enthusiastic.

Breakfasts, sandwiches and coffees are all good. The pastas are not that great. Rather avoid to prevent disappointment. In fact even the presentation does not look good. Service is not bad. We did not wait too long for our food. Waiter was attentive and came back to check how our food was after being served.

Brilliant restaurant with a delicious variety of food. Staff are attentive and friendly. Bookings are recommended after Parkrun especially if you are a larger group. They have a wide drinks menu including hot and cold drinks.

Great spot for a quick bite and a coffee or a long lazy conversation it caters for both brilliantly. Freshly baked breads and a great menu selection catering for meat eaters and vegetarians. Staff are friendly and you are located in the lonehill shopping centre so it's easy to go shopping before it after.
they've got great mochas, and really nice breads (especially the ciabatta and mini paninis) that f you catch them when they're still warm from their oven, you could eat them just like that. give the gorgonzola and caramelised onion breads a try.
