Nice, quiet place with a variety of inside and outside seating options. Pet and child friendly with sport options and Zoo Lake nearby. There is a table tennis and foosball table too. There is a kids play area and a jumping castle when it is busy. Can make coffee during loadshedding.

A perfect day to explore with Sasha some pup restaurants. Since he is a pensioner and blind it is important to keep Sasha stimulated while enjoying a social life. Needless to say that I enjoy every excuse to get out with Sasha to observe the atmosphere and vibe of different places.
The Green Room is located in Greenside and it's easy accessible. Lots of secure parking available. It's a family and dog friendly restaurant. Lots of children were running around having happy play time at the designated play areas.
I was seated outside near at the end of the fence. That was a great spot to observe the atmosphere and vibe. Unmistakable it's a dogs little treasure restaurant. There were lots of different types of dogs and if one barked the others joined in. Such sweet songs 🐶
I ordered something easy and light and opted for the avocado and ciabatta light meal. Just perfect! Delicious! The cappuccino was lovely too. Price and service is balanced. Very recommendable 🐾🤩

Lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff. The menu is basic, but excellent food.
Kids will find lots of toys to play with. They can climb on the jungle gym, use the see-saw, or jump on the bouncy castle.
Dogs are welcome and can get their own food along with a bowl of water they get as a matter of course!
It feels like a home away from home. 😊

Beautiful and quiet setting with lots of parking. Food is solid and wholesome, and very well priced. Lots for the kids to do, and play area securely fenced in. Only complaint is slow service - waited for ages for someone to take drinks order and to clear plates.

I love how the owner has transformed this space into something so cool and fresh. The space itself really lives up to it's name. Service was fantastic, we had the loveliest waitress and the food was amazing! I had the pork pie. Delicious is an understatement. The chef / owner was kind enough to bestow upon our table a cherry pie to taste too. Oh. My. Gosh. The best pie I've ever had. I'll definitely be back, even if it's just for another taste of that cherry pie.

Okay I had the most kickass breakfast this morning. I had the eggy bread/ French toast and it is now my religion. The fresh fruit �. My friend had the biker's special and she similarly LOVED IT. The service is on point and friendly. The decor is the tits. The view is phenomenal. Basically, I'm looking for a flat nearby so I can go there everyday.

Very disappointed with The Green Room and this is such a pity because we had heard good things. Surly service, fish (captain hook) was sent back as it was undercooked and tasted off (but still billed!!!), calamari was rubbery, children’s toasted sandwiches burnt, snack Nacho’s ordered but billed as a main course. Certainly don’t recommend and unlikely to go back.

Superb Chef Fiona & Sous Chef Grant serve healthy delicious food which I was fortunate to enjoy at their launch on the 14th January. Yesterday they again extended themselves with accolades bestowed at a girlfriends birthday luncheon under the trees. The Green Room in Greenside is highly recommended at this lovingly recreated clubhouse venue.
