Excellent food with reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Four people dining in, bill came to R1200 drinks, two starters and 4 desserts included. The portions are very generous, top quality meat served. Clean toilets and the place is well kept. Playing area for children outside and safe parking lot for cars. Highly recommended restaurant.

Decent spur with good food and excellent customer service. Food arrives warm and always on time. Only advice is for management to start treating the waiters/waitress better. They don't seem happy and it feels like they are always being watched and walking on broken glass.

Just to update, I received a call from Laine, the franchise owner of Lone Spur, and what a gem of a human 💥 Laine went through considerable effort to find my details in that Laine checked what number I had used for my loyalty points (which was my daughters card) got her number, called her, explained the situation to her, asked for my number and then called me a few times before getting hold of me. For that alone, I appreciate you, Laine. Throughout the call, Laine listened to my grievances and sincerely apologized for the behavior of her staff and, although I am not from the area, did offer a courtesy meal. So lesson learnt : we expect Spur to be "Like Family" and as such I was happy my concerns were noted and more so, appreciate that effort will be made so this doesn't happen again. Thank you Laine How absolutely dissapointing !!! My family and I always visit the local Spur restaurant when travelling. So, on a business trip, my colleague and I agreed on dinner at Lone Spur Steak Ranch in Brentwood. While the food was ok (the steaks were slightly cold when they arrived) but the waitrons, and I mean ALL of them, were absolutely pathetic. Our waitress disappeared for 40min and in that time every waitron on duty walked passed us, noted our empty glasses and set aside plates and yet not one of them offered us any service !!! Suffice to say we will not be back. Very dissapointed.

Stopped here for lunch when passing through. They had friendly service and a play area suitable for toddlers Food was good.

Besides the food being amazing and the service outstanding, myself I personally enjoyed the atmosphere more since it wasn't busy nor full. There was less than 10 tables booked around the time we were there. No loud noise, just beautiful music. The rest of the family also enjoyed, food and service. Well done!!!

I had given up on the Spurs in the Benoni/Boksburg side until I came here, for my day I ordered kids ribs and chips which were nicely portioned and the ribs nice and soft perfect for my daughter. For myself order full portion buffalo wings, nicely cooked aswell unlike the ones I have been subjected to in recent past at other franchises who I can swear wear air fried to the extreme with East Rand malls being the worse. The food we cooked well and tasted just as good at this spur.

We would like to say "Thank you" to Lone Spur, the Manager Sir Dennis & the rest of the staff for your awesome service & your donation of mouth watering cheddermeld steak, chips & onion rings with cold drink towards Jacaranda Care center while we on the road picking up donations for our Christmas party. I know most people love their Franchise Restaurants, but as a rule hubby and I are really not Lemmings. One exception, the Lone Spur in Brentwood Park. Since it opened it's doors we visited it quite a few times, especially because my Niece could enjoy herself in the play area. We've had Christmas Lunches, Birthday Celebrations and a few just spending time as a family Lunches here. I cannot recall one incident when the food was not what we had in mind, poor service from the wait staff, kitchen or management, a great feat that is the reason we don't usually go too Franchises. Our last visit was our first without my mom who passed away a year ago, but it was for my Birthday and that of my Closest friend, and the experience was probably better that it was before. Keep it going guys!

Excellent service from Brandon on Saturday 2 September. We were 4 tables and he handled it like a Pro. Excellent, excellent service.

Great service from the manager (Faith). Breakfast was great, food was delicious. The service was a bit slow from the waiters, and the food preparation took forever to arrive. Maybe it was a once off.

We always have good service and friendly staff. The food is usually good quality. The play area for kids is very nice and big. Their menu variety is also quite good. Their steaks are always delicious and cooked just how you ask.
