Al Fresco - Johannesburg - Photo album

Recently renovated - family style Italian restaurant. Enough space for the kids to burn their energy and for the parents to have a relaxed meal. Service was sharp and food great.
Great food, enjoyed the atmosphere. Took a chance and can really recommend.
Really great experience. Had a function there. Manager was friendly and very efficient. Waiters are very well spoken and service was impeccable. Lastly, the food, we only had pizzas but no complaints here either.
Delicious, gorgeous pizzas, good wine list, nice family atmosphere, very good service, reasonable prices! What more can you ask for? Love the windpump at the end of the parking lot - see my photo.
My family and I will definitely be visiting Al Fresco's again. The food was so delicious - serious value for money. The atmosphere was just amazing and I enjoyed that I could watch my son play while having a meal at my table - very safe and secure. I was totally sold on the cappuccino - just wish th
We go there 3or 4 times a year and always enjoy the open house and grounds for lunch. Plenty of space and a reasonable menu and today indulged in a decadent dessert
This is a wonderful little out of the way place, had I not been taken there I would not have known about it. Very large interior enabling for one to be able to practice social distancing. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. Half price for very tasty pizzas and pastas on a Wednesday and Thu
I've been coming to this awesome place for many years. The food is continuously delicious and the waiting staff are very eager to serve with a smile. It's been revamped since my last visit and I was super impressed. Wednesdays are half price pizza nights, which we were pleasantly surprised by. In ge
Lovely food. Wonderful setting outside under the trees. Great place for kids. Our waiter was Sidney, he was outstanding. The only negative were the flies invading us in their masses. Something should be done by management to prevent this problem.
My hubby took me here for my birthday dinner. We enjoyed the place and the teally awesome homemade pasta. Suggestion: to spruce up the place a little more.. better lighting perhaps and cushions to add some cosyness in the room with the fireplace. We had great service from the waiters too!
Tables are set up in a really nice outdoor area under trees. A lovely play area for kids....jungle gyms, jumping castle, lovely grass to kick a ball and run on. The food was good...waiter...Fanie was brilliant. Sadly, One very big downside for us.....smoking is allowed outside...a big NO NO for us.
Food is excellent. Still super quality, while other establishments are no longer delivering decent meals, freshness is compromised and just disappointing. Al Fresco is still top notch and highly recommended!
Our local restaurant we come here every Thursday ,great play area for the kids delicious pizza 🍕 and cold beer on tap and indoor fire for those cold winter nights . Smoking is allowed at the outside tables though .
From the Atmosphere to the waiters to the food. Best place to be. Nice outside area for the kids to enjoy. Will definitely go back. Well priced menu and something for everyone on the menu.
An extensive menu which would satisfy all tastes. One could not ask for better waiter service. Plenty of play facilities such as climbing frames etcetera to keep children amused. Most pleasant to sit outside with shade provided.
Our pasta & pizza was delicious. Great play area for the kiddies. The covered patio area needs some type of acoustic treatment, it was difficult to have a conversation without having to raise our voices.
Right outside of the big city going towards the Bush, a great spot for the kids to play under the trees and for you and the family to enjoy a nice Italian meal and drinks all around. Highly recommend the service and the staff always looking for your needs.
