Sometimes by pure luck, someone mentions or recommends a place when you are in the area. This happened to be the case when we visited Alice Art Gallery as we had time to kill, so we were told to look out for this sign.
It was still early morning but they were open along with loadshedding affecting
The best reason the venture out to the West Rand. Magnificent art in a most stunning setting. There is something for everyone. You do not have to be a serious art lover to fall in love with this fab gallery. And if you are lucky you might just bump into owner Alice! Yes - she does exist! Oh and def
What a beautiful venue. The artwork is well selected, and the venue is clean spaced. We lived it but came a bit late so the venue was a bit dark outside. I want to come back during the day. Do they do lunches? I see there is a play area.
Thank you to Anton Gericke for hosting us in the art gallery. The coffee and breakfast was wonderful in the beautiful gardens we will definitely be returning.
This gallery hosts many stunning art exibitions and events. Sitting in the coffee shop or outside gives a lot of pleasure. The gallery owners are true to nature and love the mongoose, owls and birds that find peace in the tranquil garden.

Had a magic breakfast at a small outdoor table in the sun early on a quiet Sunday morning. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly, efficient staff and good art to open the mind in the clustered city

Didn't think I'd like art as much as I did. Not enough black representation though. And the art isn't very deep. Most of them will not be relevant in a few years. Overall though I had a lot of fun. I 100% recommend
