Family atmosphere. Pizza is mediocre but they also offer sushi and desserts.

If you like real good oven baked pizzas then this is definitely a place to go on your pizza bucket list. Very friendly staff and a hands on manager which gives it more of a family atmosphere and that you as a customer are important. Other than the pizza they offer a quite a variety of food from grills that being steak, fish and chicken dishes right up to salads and unique desserts.

Cosy little Italian restaurant. I'm pretty fussy when it comes to pizza and I was really impressed with theirs. Good thin base with a decent tomato base, good quality ingredients and generous amount of toppings. Could maybe do with a touch more cheese, but great as is. The service is good, friendly and efficient. Currently they are doing a Monday special with 50% off all pastas and pizzas. We'll be back again soon.

Great atmosphere, decent prices. Food is good, but less flour on bases of pizza would be great. The quiz night each Wednesday is great fun too!

Good food here. Great atmosphere and good prices. Staff are freindly and helpful. My favourite meal here is there pizzas they are made fresh in wood fire ovens which gives that great athentic tastse. They serve sushi here as well which is great and have a weekly wednesday all you can eat special (limited menu) - highly recommend

Amazing atmosphere! Great owners and waiters, that will take the time to learn your name! Our favourite is the Wednesday al you can eat Sushi!

Great food and wonderful hospitality. Wide menu selection from pizza, pasta, meats and veg. Big variety of drinks and wine available. Great atmosphere for families with young children with a dedicated play area and "chefs in making" section for the young ones.

A great restaurant! I had the sushi buffet (Wednesdays), and was served excellent sushi, at the best price for a sushi buffet I have seen! It's obviously an Italian restaurant, so the usual Pizzas and Pastas are available too.

Absolutely excellent food, service and ambience. Best snails and pizza I have EVER eaten! Waitress Faith is a gem. Look out for their specials.

Listen, the ribs are soooo good and so is the pizza, the waiters are friendly and the environment inside the restaurant just feels like home. The portions are worth the money and it's not expensive. Definitely try it.

I've been a regular at Cele's for years. They went through a rough patch but are under new ownership, with the same great staff and even better food. Monday half price pizza and pasta are to diie for

Good food. Salads are especially tasty. Pizza menu has many options. Meat and fish dishes also available. Some outdoor seating though the setting is not anything special.

Dumi is the best waiter in the best restaurant. Too many good memories to tell about. Great vibe. Great food. Better service.

Food and service was brilliant. We kept complimenting the food. They even made a special treat for the kids. Lizards made with pizza dough. One of my favourite restaurants.

We used to go eat at celestinos very often, staff are great and food is good.<br/>Unfortunately the owners are NOT!<br/>We went for dinner and actually couldn't enjoy our meal as we had to stay on the playground because everytime we tried to sit and eat our food the kids started crying.<br/>the owners 12 year old daughter seems to be the playground child minder and was shouting and bullying the kids.<br/>all five of the kids at our table alone were crying after multiple incidents.<br/><br/>(1) they were cohersed by the owners daughter to go into the road through a massive gap in the play area fence.<br/>Please note these kids are only 2, 3 and 4)<br/><br/>(2) they were screamed at and had toys snatched away<br/><br/>(3) my 2 year old daughter was placed on top of a stacked pile of chairs and dropped on her head.<br/><br/>We eventually told the little girl to please stop “playing“ with the kids at our table as she had made all of them cry and she blatantly ignored us twice.<br/><br/>Eventually the restaurant owners (parents of the little girl) made an appearance and asked if there was a problem, after only a brief description of the night events - they both started screaming at us about the fact that she is their daughter we are talking about and we should have gone looking for them inside the restaurant and spoken to them.<br/>The mother was highly aggressive and said she is very protective and her daughter would have told her if there was an issue.<br/><br/>First of all they didn't come to the playground once to check on their child during the course of the night, as they where enjoying their meal.<br/>When I said I didn't see them on the playground so didn't know who the parents were, otherwise I would have spoken to them - they responded by saying at 12 years old she doesn't need any supervision so they don't need to even come out😳<br/><br/>Safe to say we will not be going back due to the dangerous playground, underage child minder and of course the unprofessional way the owners behave.

OMG! This Pollo Limone pasta has be salivating for more.<br/>Such a creamy lemony favour its a real surprise. Definitely a good night out with the staff doing their best to make your time memorable

Pretty average sushi but good sushi fix for all you can eat sushi on Wednesdays.<br/><br/>The service and atmosphere is impeccable.<br/><br/>Anxious to try the pizza which is what this place is known for.

The food here is awesome and the staff are really friendly and welcoming. Only drawback is the centre, it's pretty deserted and poorly maintained. All things considered I will definitely be back.

Had dinner here on Monday Night,which is also their quiz night allowing for a great atmosphere <br/><br/>The food was pleasant, I tried their rib pizza which tasted alright I just wish that the pork could have been slow cooked and tender. I did appreciate the fact that the bases were thin and crispy and prepared in a wood fire oven

So after waiting over an hour for our food order to be delivered (within 2kms of the venue) (I also had to phone after an hour to find out if the food order was still on its way) - we were told max 45min. The food arrived (sushi) and instead of informing us that there was no tuna, prawn etc (which we had ordered), they though it okay to substitute all options with salmon without even notifying us thereof. Food was subsequently sent back for refund. Not impressed.

A good option for a fast cosy bite. They aim to be your tried and tested local and with their good prices and hearty menu gets it right. Good service with a smile . Excellent fillets. Pasta a bit mediocre . Will come again to try the pizzas !

Eventually got to try Celestino's - service was good ...pizzas were average ...poor vibe - deserted centre . Not sure if we'd go back - nothing special .

Went here for mothers day supper with a groupon voucher. Warm cosy restaurant. Pasta and pizza was fresh and tasty. Burger was dry. Was shocked that this is the only shop still open in the shopping complex. There is no other shop open in the complex and the shopping centre is totally deserted and delapidated. All other shops are closed down. Overall the food was nice, service was ok but defnitely wont be back.

The food was great, however the atmosphere was more that of an american diner/ coffee shop than an italian restaurant. I would recommend Celestinos for a family dinner, but would not likely visit again myself. Less than what I expected

We were at Celestino's last week Friday; and still my best and Favourite Pizza in Gauteng... You just can't beat a homemade oven baked (None Franchised) meal... From Pizza to Pasta we have never been disappointed.We love going out to your typical (Non-franchise) restaurant; where you find yourself driving totally out of the way for awesome food and that unique experience you can only get there; not on every street corner like most new restaurants. Always great service, and you truly feel like part of the family there!!! Keep it up guys... its an awesome concept and not to mention been around for more than a decade (That's got tell you something)!!!

Celestinos has good pizza. We used to go here often back in the day when we were still in high school. I haven't been there recently but I do remember their pizzas being really good. Its a bit quiet and the shopping centre is quiet too, not much of a weekend vibe.

I had my birthday lunch there on Saturday afternoon with 11 friends, and we had a blast! It was quiet when we arrived, and only two other tables were occupied, but we enjoyed the relaxed atmossphere.The food was outstanding!Most of my friends ordered pizzas, and the bases were light, thin and crispy.Few restaurants get this right.I had not one but two plates of salmon and cream cheese California Rolls, which I thoroughly enjoyed!Their prices are very reasonable.My bill for two plates of California Rolls plus 1 litre mineral water plus a large Strawberry daiquiri added up to R200.The service was fast considering the size of our group and very friendly without being intrusive.Patty is a fantastic waitress and deserves to be tipped generously!Everybody had fun and the kids had a blast too!We will definitely be back!

Have known these guys since they were a small restaurant in Fourways before they moved to Dainfern. Food is always good, the staff get to know you because they also stay, and the experience is always good. Any type of pizza you can imagine - and if you can't - they'll make it for you. Highly recommended family restaurant.

My family's favourite meeting place. I had my 21st birthday party at Celestino's and WOW! The owners are very accommodating to all your party needs, thanks again guys:) The food is delicious and I would recommend this as a party venue any day!

I haven't been here for ages, but whenever I used to go the food was always superb and the service just spot on! I thought that this place might die out but seems to just continue!

It's with a heavy heart that I write this review.  Celestino's really let us down this time round.<br/><br/>We've been to Celestino's on numerous occasions and have thoroughly enjoyed it, but last night was totally different.<br/><br/>We were a very large group, celebrating a friend's birthday so I can understand that the waiter was under a bit of strain.  However, in this event I do believe the manager could have stepped up a bit and helped more.<br/><br/>Drinks took far too long to get to the table and the awesome craft beer that they sell there wasn't nearly cold enough.  I had to ask for a wine bucket with ice to chill my beer.  :( <br/><br/>The food did not disappoint.  Well not completely.  I ordered the Gorgonzola Fillet and it was done to perfection.  The food was hot and arrived in good time.  Considering the amount of people at our table.  Where I do have a problem is with their Wednesday night Sushi special.  They advertise R99 all you can eat Sushi.  <br/><br/>On paper that's a great deal.  However, the poor sushi station could not keep up.  Our table ordered 10 sushi specials.  And that's what kept us all waiting.  The platters of sushi came out in drips and drabs and left some of our guests watching the rest of us eat.  NOT COOL.<br/><br/>Each person was finally given a platter of sushi which filled the hole.  But God help you if you wanted more.  The second round of platters only started arriving after we'd settled the bill.  So most of our guests didn't really get the full value of the special.  Not to mention that there was hardly any salmon or tuna in the sushi and no avo.  Just lots of crab sticks.  Perhaps they should reconsider their "Special".<br/><br/>I truly hope that the management issue is addressed and things are put right.  Celestino's has been around for a while now and is a favourite among families.  The kids section is great and in the greater scheme of things, so is the food.

Wonderful little gem this place! The service is great, and hands on ownership and management adds a very welcome dimension to the whole feel. Also very family friendly. The food is very high standard. I have tried their pizzas which are fantastic, the sushi is fresh and wonderfully prepared and their mains are excellent value for money and prepared really well. It is a fantastic place for a well prepared reasonably priced meal, they do what they do very well!

Great intimate spot for a thin and crispy wood oven pizza! I have noticed the toppings slightly getting less on the pizzas however I still love this type of pizza and would recommend you enjoy a litre of sangria here aswell!

Celestino's was a really great treat! Although we had driven past it many times, we had never been there to eat. My sister & I decided to give it a try one afternoon with her 3 kids. The playground is a big win- great for the kids and they loved it! Our waitress was really lovely- attentive, polite & sweet! Of course, we had to try the pizzas! The pizzas were absolutely delicious! There is something different about them to anywhere else we have been. I am not sure what it is, but it works! IT did seem that the toppings were a bit skint but this didn't seem to affect the flavour- maybe their less is more approach is better? Overall we had a fabulous time and we can't wait to go back! Excellent vibe, service & food! Well done.

WHAT A VIBE & DELICIOUS PIZZA. I have to say, we arrived here with another couple who had heard that this is THE place to be to watch the soccer when Netherlands is playing as it's the local dutch gathering. Well we weren't disappointed. The place was PACKED for the game, however, the waiters managed to keep the food flowing out of the kitchen and managed to keep up with drinkorders. I was thoroughly impressed as there was very little staff to manage the over populated venue. <br/><br/>On a foodie note, we had the haloumi starter... very average, it wasn't nicely fried and was a bit rubbery; however the home made style dipping sauce was tasty. The main attraction was the pizza's though. They have a lovely thin crust and are really tasty. We had a chicken mayo and avo pizza to share (i have to say i didn't get much chicken but it was good none the less). Our friends had a camembert, peppadew and avo pizza that was apparently heavenly. Overall a really nice night out. I will definitely return for another dutch match, however I might book next time so that we get prime seating.

The best pizza in the world. I don't think I have ever ventured beyond the quatro stagioni, but I have not needed to. It's a great kid hang out too, day or night. Owners in the business, which, as you know is my best! Oh and they do sushi, which is also good. Ok, you got me, I had it once when I didn't fancy a pizza!
