Nice location inside the Monte, they have a biltong stand right by the entrance selling really good biltong. The restaurant itself is a bit of hit or miss, some days the food is exceptional and other times its pretty average. Service has always been good and deserves praise.

This is the last Meat Company in South africa the staff provide 5 star service consistently and seem to pride themselves on this. The Meat Co provides a variety of dishes that see made superbly and presented beautiful. The well known for there amazing saucy Portuguese ribs and Lamb Shank dishes that will have your mouth water and taste buds dance..

Last night was my 3rd visit to The Meat Co and the food was excellent. The upstairs area is normally closed on a Tuesday evening but the friendly staff made an exception for our group and served us upstairs. The food variety is excellent and the meat selection is superb. If you love good steaks I would highly recommend it.

The Meat Company is just one place amongst many others who put very good steaks on a plate. However, the ambience at Monte Casino makes it very special. Try to get a table on 2nd floor and enjoy the view.

What a great experience excellent service great vibes. A variety of food and drinks. Our waiter was so good. She was on the ball so loving and caring she spoke so calmly to our kids and helped read the menu.... She heard from our kid's it was my hubbys birthday she came over and wished him.,we were so impressed with her smile and great service we even took a pic.... We will come back again

We had dinner at Monte Casino before our show last night. I ordered the stuffed fillet with salad. The food came, the meat was excellent and the salad looked very inviting - until I dished the salad from the smaller bowl into my bigger plate! There was a flat, chewed chewing gym underneath the salad. It was obviously squashed between plates after the wash 🤮
At first the waiter thought it can’t be but then I pulled it with my fork 😑. They took my plate, I asked to keep the meat (coz I was so starving).
The manager came around, asked what the problem was. I explained & he apologised saying they will make a new salad.
What a raw deal! 100% discusted 😰

Went to Meat Co for lunch on Valentines day. Very few people there. I ordered chick wings and calamari combo. From the time we ordered we were ignored. We sat there with empty glasses. After 30 or 40 mins the food arrived. My food and plate was cold. Very disappointing. Asked them to cancel my order which they did. I was rewarded with a free beer. WoW! Last time that I will spend my time or money at this place.
