Chose this restaurant as part of then date night special. The service was very friendly, the food was very nice and tasty. The creme brûlée was delicious. Will definitely go back for more.
Nice location inside the Monte, they have a biltong stand right by the entrance selling really good biltong. The restaurant itself is a bit of hit or miss, some days the food is exceptional and other times its pretty average. Service has always been good and deserves praise.
This is the last Meat Company in South africa the staff provide 5 star service consistently and seem to pride themselves on this. The Meat Company is just one place amongst many others who put very good steaks on a plate. However, the ambience at Monte Casino makes it very special. Try to get a table on 2nd floor and enjoy the view.
