I always buy my Chinese food from here and they never ever disappointed me with both quantity and quality. They serve a mean chicken chow mein. For R56 I actually had to divide my meal into 2, that's how much they gave me. I will always patronise Asia House. The pic that you see I posted was half of what I was served. Food is excellent. Love the flavors and great value for money. Portions on the chow mein are enough for 2 hungry adults. Meat is plentiful in the dishes. Sushi is also lovely. Dumplings are amazing. Do not go on a busy night since they will miss items on takeaway. Always check if items are as ordered. Take away times are long on busy nights and system is unefficient when collecting. Be aware of poor English on phone when calling.

Check that you are charged the correct prices. A few times I was overcharged and then refunded after I noticed. Food is good. Portion sizes good. Price increases are quite steep when it happens

The sushi salmon bowls are my absolute favourite. They are very reasonably priced and the food is always consistent and always awesome. The staff are very professional and friendly and actually get to know what your regular orders are if you visit often enough which is quite a rare thing these days. This is my go to Chinese restaurant in the Alberton area. Highly recommended.

You can always count on the food being delicious. I've never had a bad sushi experience with them and it's actually affordable. The one lady is always smiling and super happy when I go to collect.

My absolute favourite Asian restaurant by far, their food is just top teir. Highly recommend their sushi, spring rolls and egg fried rice. Restaurant name has actually changed to Asia Yummy now

I have been here a countless amount of times in the past years ... each experience has been a good one. I was driving back from holiday and phoned in a takeaway order for collection. The owner of the store knew i would arrive 30 minutes after closing but still took the order and waited for me ... thats 5 stars in itself

Best sushi for the price by far!!!! If you are looking for sushi this place is a good to. We hade had them three weekends in a row. Would however not reccomend their Thai and Chinese. Very bland.

They are opened again, after a great renovation. So happy that they are back. Food is tasty and quite affordable. Pleasant and clean atmosphere and host is friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit.

I have been craving Asian cuisine for such a long time and boy am I glad we decided to stop at Asia House today. The spring rolls are absolutely delicious (and big, yes size matters lol). Perfectly crispy and not at all greasy. The beef chow mein is perfectly balanced and has a great umami flavour with the beef being succulent and melt in the mouth yummy. We also sampled the crispy chicken which of course was amazing. Nice and crispy with just the right seasoning. I really love simple comfort food done well and these guys certainly nailed that. Cannot wait for our next visit 😁 really wish i took pics but it was all too delicious to wait...

Decent food. The chow mein is ALL chicken. I’ve never seen anything like it. You struggle to find the noodles😱. The sushi is great, well made and cheap! You might want to call to order and collect. We waited for about 30min for our food, way too long in my opinion.

Love that Asia house is so consistent. I've dined at the restaurant a few times and enjoyed takeaways many more times. My favourite is the prawn chow mein and it's always delicious. The sushi is also fantastic. Prices are very reasonable and the snacks on sale are also great. My favourite is the wasabi nuts... The only issue I had this time around was the slow service...seems like there was one person handling the till, takeaways, bar service and acting as the waitress for the dine in customers...

I had the vegetable noodles- the food was good. Unfortunately not many vegetables were added to the dish. However the prices are great and the portions generous. I will definitely be back to try another option in future.

My family and i decided to try Asia house due to it being located so close to home. The food is good and the portions are definitely value for money. The Thai food has a great kick. The sushi is pretty average, but none the less it was a decent takeaway.

Hollywood has probably conditioned us in that Chinese food is best done as a takeaway food, and tonight we're having Chinese, if we lived in China, it would be just food. We enjoy Chinese food a lot so thought to try this place out. My first opinion is that it is clean and the restaurant is well 'put together'. We had called a bit before and our food was ready when I arrived. The food was tasty, I particularly like the larger amount of veg, however the portions are not as big as most other places. I guess the prices are good, so I can't complain too much.

I normally crave Asian food and so, I decided to try a local Asian place as I was looking for a quick meal. I tried Asia House which I thought would be to my liking, but I was unfortunately met with disappointment. Firstly, the decor is not much and rather outdated. It is quaint in some small respect I suppose, but for the most part, it is just small. There is not much seating space which kind of rules out dining there, but if you are looking for takeout, than it is more appropriate. In terms of the food, again, I was disappointed. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with rice and the chicken was rather nice - the batter was crispy, however, there was no garnish or vegetables added to the dish. When I order Asian food (any food frankly), I expect to have carrots or even just chopped onion added to the dish. It was literally just the chicken, rice and sauce. Needless to say, for me, it was just too plain and simple.
