We had the most stunning meal for our date night there last night. Luckily we made a reservation as it was really quite full. What exceptional service. I was really impressed with each meal construction. So carefully thoughtful, and a flavor experience. We had haloumi and chicken livers for starters and braised beef short rib and fruiti de mare pasta for mains. What a wonderful meal accompanied by cranberry and cucumber G&Ts. Superb really
Wow what an incredible experience. I've been here many times either for breakfast, lunch or supper and I've NEVER been disappointed. The staff are absolutely fantastic. So friendly and helpful. The food has always been superb. Compliments to everyone. I had lovely chat to Clive today what an incredible gentleman. I also suggested that consideration should be given to opening up Doppio Zero's at both Ballito (I know of a perfect spot) and in the East of Pretoria (as per my mom's request). We love Doppio Zero. Thanks for the great service and delicious food. Keep up the good work
I have been a few times for lunch and breakfast ... service has been good.. but is room for improvement, but food quality has been exellent. Definitely one of my favourite spots to go for friends or family gettogethers

It was a rainy day so my friend and I got cake take aways, we got the bar one chocolate cake which is vegan! It was super moist and surprisely not too sweet despite being a bar one cake. Definitely coming back, would like to try some of the vegan dishes and end it off with this chocolate cake

06.2018 Finally made my way to this branch as i have been wanting to use my voucher that i had won.
Love the setup of this place, i am sure summer time is lovely to sit outside but not today its flipping freezing. They have the usual varieties of cakes, desserts and breads to choose from on display. I am definitely loving their current winter menu. So many great Mediterranean dishes and spicy foods.
We ordered hot drinks to start, sadly my Chai Hot Chocolate and my sisters tea arrived luke warm, but my moms coffee was at least hot.
The breads served while waiting is enough to fill you with their tasty chilli, garlic and parmesan sides.
I could have easily chosen a few tapas options but my eye was caught on the Grilled Rump flatbread - Chilli & Garlic rubbed Rump, Kale (yes i ate Kale forgive me for i have sinned), Roasted Red Peppers, Marinated Feta, Salsa Alfresco & Hummus Tzatziki, the meat was soft and tender i just added a bit of chilli and garlic to my meal and it was delightful. My sis had the Salmon and Sweet Potato Fish Cakes with a Ginger, Garlic, Chilli & Soya dressing and Caprese Salad (Fresh Mozzarella, Tomato, Basil pesto, Avo* & Red Onion) and mom had the Prego Pollo - Char-grilled chicken breasts, lettuce, tomato, peri peri mayo on Turkish bread with hand cut chips. Those chips were yummy. We also couldnt resist a bit if dessert so we shared the Lemon Meringue -not too sweet or tart - it was actually perfect. The Peppermint Caramel tart wasnt bad just a bit hard.
Our waiter Luka was such a delight, friendly and so helpful - service with a fab smile.
Definitely going to make my way back here sometime to try some more options before the menu changes again.

Every time I go to Doppio Zero Bedfordview it never disappoints - the food is delicious, the staff are friendly, and the decor and ambience is warm and relaxing.
One of my fav's in The View. Great Menu, Good Prices, Great Ambiance, Good Service. Happy all round :) Love the fact that you cater for food allergies :) That's a Big Win and your service is on point!
I think (future) delivery options could also be a bonus ;)

The service:
Beyond exceptional, all the serving staff are very friendly and polite. Of the hundreds do times I have been here I don’t think I’ve ever had a rude or disinterested Waiter. The managers of this doppio are incredible very friendly and constantly check to ensure you are happy.
The coffee is always good here ( I do personally believe it has everything to do with a good barista). So coffee and cakes are our most frequent reason for visits.
However of the many meals I’ve enjoyed here I have not been disappointed so it’s safe to say that you can be assured your food will come promptly and to order.
And my absolute favorite thing about this particular doppio is the Decor. It is perfection! The entire restaurants aesthetic is so pleasing and it is always gorgeous and so clean!

Food was really good. We all had pastas that were delicious. We went on Mother’s Day, we phoned to book a table and were told we they were working on first cone first serve. After arriving and being seated our drinks arrived and we were told that we need to move and wait for a table as the table we were at was reserved. If it wasn’t for the decent food this would have been a bad experience.
I love the food and the vibe. I especially love the outdoor non smoking area with an awesome view. Sometimes you get an awesome waiter/waitress and sometimes you get disappointed. That’s my reason for a 4.
Good spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner, very nice vibe at dinner time with a separate dinner menu. Pizzas and pastas are very good. Eggs Benedict with gammon is delicious for breakfast. Love the desserts cheesecake options are great.

Food was great! Service good. Sat upstairs which is more vibey but was pretty noisy from the barman making cocktails and things... but will definitely be back as I see their breakfast menu looks lovely

Food is Ok. Location is good, just a bit confusing when comes to parking. Service not bad. Good place to chill with friends on a Saturday morning.
Although the acoustics in the restaurant aren’t great, the food was absolutely divine. We also had a wonderful waiter, Terrence, who had a good sense of humour and kept us entertained. Despite the fussy eaters in our party, he was on top of it all! He even called me back because I had forgotten my bag at the table. What a gentleman, thank you!
I had supper here the other night and overall was quite impressed.

I ordered the calamari and chorizo pasta with penne that was superb. My boyfriend had a doppio pizza with half being Fusione and the other half a don vito which he also loved and said was fresh. I had a mojito cocktail which was refreshingly delicious. We ordered cappuccinos and baked cheesecake for dessert which finished our meal off nicely.

Our waiter was friendly and we didn't have to wait too long for our meal.

Great place for my friend and I to catch up after months. The casual atmosphere was great, the noise levels in the restaurant was perfect. The food was delicious although I ordered a simple pasta but it was satisfying. Looking forward to going there again for breakfast. The menu has a large variety to cater for everyone.
Great breakfast, food was well prepared and tasty, could do better on presentation. One thing letting them down was the service. Would have given a higher rating if staff were more attentive.
I absolutely love the decor and ambiance in this Doppio. The deck on a Saturday afternoon is a must. Super wide variety of food on the menu and everything tastes amazing. The salads and pasta are a big hit for me.
Enjoyable meal at this new Doppio with friendly service. Great look and atmosphere and the breads on sale looked great. Must be back to try some bread. Had a very tasty pasta. Definitely a place to consider for spontaneous meal.

Brooooo listen here , I've just had thee best breakfast words can't even describe. Ever since I noticed that Bedford was building a doppio excitement just got hold of me. Ordered the egg benini, stuuuning super well done , great flavors and price 😊 also had a mocha was also nice , like that it wasn't too rich . Opted to chill by their balcony , great seating arrangement and decor . Definitely coming back for lunch this time 🙌🏾
Quite enjoyed my visit to Doppio Zero today. The restaurant is beautiful, we sat outside. The service is great. We were even offered blankets because of the chill in the air . I had the sticky chicken burger, my sister had the pasta loco. Both meals were delicious. And the portions are generous. It was our first time there but it won't be our last . Delightful experience all round
Although I was pretty excited to see a Doppio Zero near me, I never had a chance to dine there. But tonight I cracked, craving dessert, I sped to Doppio.
The service was very friendly, homey, even though I was slightly under dressed (dont judge me, it was a rough weekday and I just wanted some cake.)
The rustic decor was absolutely lovely, golden warm and comfy. I peaked at the terrace and look forward to having breakfast there someday.
The cakes are marvelous, the best being the Ferrero Rocher Cheese Cake. The Milo Fridge Cheese cake was light n fluffy whilst the BarOne Cheesecake was rich with a surprise attack of chocolate sweetness mixed in at the base.

Lovely venue, but the food takes too long, friendly service, also for a place that sells lovely bread why don't they have tasty sandwiches made with their famous fresh bread on the menu?
UPDATE: this has become one of our go to places the daily special are excellent and so is the pastas and pizzas
This is my first meal from the Bedfordview branch - I ordered the the Aglio Olio El Greco pasta with Fettuccine as a take away.
The restaurant is beautiful and when you walk in you're greeted with the lovely smell of breads and pastries.
I was really impressed, the portion size was large (which I love as I'm a huge pasta fan), it smelled beautiful and was cooked perfectly and nothing was skimmed on, lots of halloumi and tomatoes. A delicious meal.
I asked for less oil and my pasta was made with less oil (which I very much appreciated).
My only complaint is that there was no parmesan shavings on the pasta which I always find adds to the taste and so this was missed.

I haven't been there for a while, but the food is nice and you feel relax to have lunch or afternoon tea in here.
There are many options for vegan and vegetarian food.

This place never disappoints. We tried their set menu this time and selected a 3 course option. We were not disappointed with the food, as it was delicious as always. The service was excellent the vibe was good and this location is just great. Would highly recommend this place for any catch up lunches or dinners with friends. They have a wide drinks menu and good cold refreshing beer on tap.
Whoever trains staff here really deserves an award! Excellent service, beautiful views, great quality food, 5 star treatment every time I go there. The manager even gave me a complimentary piece of cake when something went wrong with my drink. I just love this place

Vibe was chilled with good music. There’s fresh baked food available too. Smoking and non smoking sections. Bar upstairs with a large wine fridge. Upstairs and downstairs both have outside sections.
Had a brilliant brunch with brilliant service. Doppio Zero has definitely made sure the decor is stylish and inviting while perfecting their Menu and serving it with a smile. Will definitely be back. Week mornings are not too busy so you are able to enjoy a delicious meal.

After a delicious breakfast, we enjoyed cocktails over some saucy wings. The service absolutely good, we had a friendly waitress who made the effort to open the gazibo top when our balcony table got too much sun. Definitely deserving of a 5 🌟 service rating.

Unfortunatly neither me nor my wive enjoyed the food maybe it was just the dish we chose. We will return and try a different dish though. Service was excelent and the atmosfere was great. Waiter was very attentave to oir romantic evening and only steped in when we needed her.

I enjoy visiting Doppio. Great ambiance, lovely staff awesome service. Their meals are well prepared. Restaurant caters for everyone including vegans. Covid-19 protocols strictly adhered. By the way, I cleaned out my plate. :-)
