Review Mochachos - Johannesburg

Worth a visit if your hungry and want a quick bite to eat! The chicken is spiced exceptionally well. The steak was decent too. The chips come with a spicy peri peri flavour that is gorgeous. Not tasted anything like it before. The spices are great and will get your tastebuds tickling. I went back for a second visit to get one more taste of the spices! Special ingredients is what they say it is..!

Love eating at this branch. Clean sit down area. We love the chicken and chips. Spiced just right and not too dry. Customer service great. Quick service. Food freshly prepared. Friendly waitresses. Will return. Can get busy on weekends.

Idk… I’m going to go out on a limb here & say this is the best Mochachos franchise in town. The food is always good & the orders are always correct — especially when placing an order through Mr D Food. The service is quick, the food arrives warm. Just perfect!

Their food is absolutely delicious. They make the absolute best steak quesedilla!! Must try hot flavour, the milder flavours are not that great

I love this restaurant. The service is fast. The food is delicious and atmosphere is warm and friendly. The venue is spacious. Parking is very problematic in this area.

Lets start with the fact that its nearby everything around Fordsburg. Then we all know how lekker Mochachos is. So the shop is nice and spacious with hard working and friendly staff to assist you with the service quite fast unless its payday. Go ahead and try them out!!!

I love the settings of the place Wide open area. No need of getting worried about space as you can create extra space without dissatisfaction

Today i decided not to keep quiet with one of your cashier who i happen to deal with send time now, rude as she is. So this time i placed an order and they delivered wrong food, mistakes happens fine. I call them she starts by telling me its so busy today so I understood. Then she kept on saying the driver was so stupid to have not made sure he picked up the correct order. I felt so sad like she called me Stupid. I totally don’t understand how someone calls the other person stupid to people they dont even know. So i went on telling her but you made a mistake and I understood but you cant be insulting others its wrong. She kept on not even apologizing for it. I asked so you keep on blaming the driver for not making sure hes got the correct food but dispatched the food to the driver. Between both you and the driver id say you are both wrong so lets just rectify the mistakes and knowledge. Not her she kept on going on about the driver. She eventually hung up on me. This behavior is unacceptable and this time im not gonna let her go ill call head office tomorrow morning.

Food is not bad, really.<br/>Problems are that they are literally always out of stock of normal buns and they give u these other smaller ones with burgers.<br/>The service is a problem as well, nobody gives a crap about the customer. the Indian guy there always seems angry and disciplines workers just in front of everyone. Will go to a different mochachos in future.

Worst experience ever, bad customer service. Went for supper with my husband and child, ordered the family variety and a pedro beef burger combo for my little one. meals arrived, the pedro meal had half a burger pattie on a full burger bun, called the waitress and told her to take it back for obvious reasons, she returned with another waiter posing as the manager who told us that that is the way they serve the pedro meal, we then told them that we will pay for the other half of the pattie, they took the burger back and never returned, my husband then quite upset as our child was hungry and the waiting was unacceptable. He approached the staff who explained that it take a while to fry the pattie.  The real manager of the store Mohamed then call my husband with his index finger quite rudely, by then my husband was extremely upset to be treated in this way, Mohamed then came to our table and instead of apologizing for their bad service he continued to argue. We then told him to keep the burger even though it was paid for and left our meals and exited the shop. I will not recommend this place to eat to anyone, service is extremely poor and the manager who claims that it is his families business has no customer skills, portrays a heavy weight image.

mochachos fordsburg, what can I say, you haven't experienced bad service unless you visited mochachos fordsburg, every single time a order was placed, the order is never complete, something has to be missing and the staff are extremely unhelpful, P.S definitely will not be ordering soon

This branch of Mochachos is the worst that I've ever experienced. The service is pathetic and the attitude of the staff STINKS. I will never recommend anyone to eat at this branch.

Good fast foods with a Mexican twist. That is how I usually describe Mochachos.<br/>The menu is mostly Mexican flame grilled chicken and chicken burgers. <br/>Their burgers, sandwiches and chicken strips are my favorite and not to mention their heavenly chips.<br/>Mochachos chips is like no other- well fried and dosed in a divine Mexican chips spice.<br/>Mochachos comes in various flavours starting from lemon ad herb to very hot. But mostly their food is not usually very hot and "hot" is actually decently mild.<br/>As for service, it is pretty fast ad convenient although the dinning experience inside isn't very grand.<br/>Its great for good food on the run and not a spectacular dinning.<br/>.

My kids love Mochachos chips and strips, so we normally order a speedy meal for them. I've recently tried the cheese pine burger because I wanted to try something different. It was surprisingly tasty. I normally opt for a chimichanga which is a tortilla filled with chicken strips and salsa. I love dipping it in that guacamole which is provided.<br/><br/>The decor here is not really great and the service leaves much to be desired so I don't come here very often.

I enjoy Mochachos when I do eat it which is not too often. Generally when its a chicken takeaway Nandos is the go to option.I also generally do a takeaway as the ambience isn't too great.<br/><br/>By now you will know reading any of the reviews that the chips are nice. Crunchy, salty and spicy just the way I like it. <br/><br/>I don't like the burger and prefer the quarter chicken and chips. The quarter chicken is huge and sometimes the sauce on it is quite dry. I wish they could serve the basting as a sauce perhaps?

I am probably gong to provoke the ire of most people when I say this, but I just can't seem to enjoy Mochachos! Believe me, I have tried. I have tried different branches, different options on the menu, but it just doesn't work for me.<br/><br/>At this particular branch, I absolutely detest sitting down and eating. It gets too loud, too busy and it doesn't feel very comfortable at all. I prefer going home and eating it (or greedily hogging it down in the car - depending on how hungry I am).<br/><br/>My husband is a fan of their burger and chips. I normally like to try the quesadilla option, but I'm always reminded that it's awful when I do. I then go back to the burger and chips. The nachos are awful, don't even think about it. My chips tend to always taste stale. I just don't get it. However, the last time I was there it was delicious. Maybe things are changing at Mochachos Fordsburg!

Sitting down for a meal at a Mochacho's is a rare occurrence for me, I usually place an order and pick up.<br/><br/>If you dine at the premises expect a buzzing atmosphere that feels more like a cafeteria than a restaurant.<br/><br/>This doesn't take away from the fact that they make good Mexican food.<br/> <br/>From their toasted chicken sandwich, crispy strips, burgers to the quesadillas most of the meal will have you satisfied. <br/><br/>Their chips are addictive so try not to scoff them all in one go. <br/><br/>
