Came here for lunch. It was a very pleasant experience. We sat outside and were immediately attended to by the waitron. The menu gave a choice of a variety of dishes. I chose the beef fillet medallions, which turned out to be amazingly delicious. For desert, the choice fell on the lovely chocolate cake. The ambiance was charming and cheerful. Highly recommended.

Fresh, wholesome meals. Tasty and delicious. Good coffee. Service was excellent. Will definitely come back. Wagyu burger was cooked to perfection.

A very good breakfast and brunch spot. I had the corn hotcakes with bacon, avo, and basil pesto which was delicious! My wife had creamy corn scrambled eggs with bacon which was also very tasty. Our waiter, Brian, was amazing and friendly, and the food came out really quickly after ordering. The pressed fresh juices are a great way to accompany a scrumptious breakfast. Try the apple, pineapple, and ginger combo!

This was such a lovely find! A family friend told us about this place and when we went to check it out we were met by the sweetest waitress, she was absolutely wonderful and paid special attention to my grandmother, making sure she is comfortable at all times. They have many yummy options on the menu, including vegetarian and vegan dishes as well. The place is well lit, with indoor and outdoor seating available, and the chef even comes out to see that everything is going well every now and again. Overall a great experience and I will definitely be returning when I visit JHB again.

Heard amazing reviews so came to try this place out. I ordered a steak sandwich, which was very tasty! My hub had the Meatball Sub and enjoyed it too. A little on the pricey side though. After I ordered I saw there was a Lamb Shank Pasta on the special menu on the blackboard, which I have to come back to try! I’ll leave a more detailed review after my second visit. :)

It may be true that some of the best places are found by accident. Went there for breakfast. Was fairly busy for a weekday morning. Atmosphere is great as it is a small cafe that looks and feels like a small cafe. The staff are amazing, friendly, attentive and don't overdo or underdo their service. The coffee was good but the part that makes me give it 5 stars is the food. We ordered the hot cake breakfast and the salmon sandwich. Both made amazingly well. Fantastic flavours and presentation fit for a more expensive place. Everything was so well made. Definitely a must go spot.

I had an amazing time. My friend took me out for breakfast, and I was happy. My stomach could not stop dancing. They get so busy, so the waiters don't really check on their tables often, but they offer great service.

First time visiting Cafe Billi Bi and it did not disappoint! We arrived at 10:45 and were lucky to get a table, it was packed. The food & service were excellent. I took a slice of carrot cake home and it’s the best I’ve ever had!

Food is art... I am yet to have a poor experience at this place. The service, food, timing, setting, decor and experience is always 100%. There is so much attention to detail in the presentation of food and great value for money. <br/><br/>I am super impressed with the Buddha bowl.. feeding the vegetarian indulgence with a super tasty variety.

Always a great experience for the palate. Flavor filled dishes. First time my son had a Meatball Sandwich and Daughters has Turkish Chicken Flat Bread. Staff is ever friendly and accommodating.

I was impressed with the level of service from start to finish. As for the dish that I ordered, the creamy chicken, bacon and mushroom pasta had good colour and the peas created a summery feeling.

This is a true gem to the area. A newish gem, but their shine and sparkle comes not from being relatively newish, but from the absolute hands on management/owners and the entire team, super friendly and efficient service, truly tasty original fresh food, good ingredients, daily specials...<br/>The staff truly an anomaly in terms of friendliness, and not in an overbearing or false way. They really look happy and it just makes for such a different breakfast, lunch experience.<br/>Also, located in the recently - smartly - revamped Stoneridge centre (open air, bright, airy and magnificent gardens that transcends you to somewhere far away).<br/>It speaks volumes that Billi Bi is always 4times as full as any of the other many restaurants around them!<br/>I will be back... again, and often.

It was my Dads birthday lunch and the chef went out of his way to make it special for him, thank you!<br/>The waitress was lovely and friendly and the food was brilliant, fresh and tasty. We couldn’t fault any of it! We are looking forward to going back very soon and at least once a week for lunch!

Love this cute cafe, it brings such an amazing and homely vibe. The staff are friendly and very busy on a usual weekday, hence the slow service. The portions of the food are quite large, which is worth the money being paid for. Not many vegetarian options for lunch, but the pasta salad was very nutritious!

Very comfortable breakfast, brunch little Café. Food is always good with welcoming services. Best to go early on the weekend. It is always full. I recommend trying the specials they have. Reasonably priced with good taste.

Really enjoyed breakfast here this morning. Such a nice and busy spot. The salmon omelette is out of this world. The waitress was attentive and always made sure we were okay, so was the manager. Definitely the place you want to go to for a delightful breakfast and atmosphere.

Wonderful hidden gem in the Greenstone area( Stoneridge Mall). We were greeted by everyone with a smile. Wanted a salmon salad, and it wasn't on the menu, but the staff made me one anyway- and it was delicious- it even had strawberries inside. High standard or service. Even higher of food!! Will definitely be back!

Great outdoor cafe style vibe. Service is ok though. Food is great. I usually have the smoked salmon breakfast which never leaves me disappointed. My boyfriend has the chorizo omelette which is also fantastic. We've had lunch there long ago but cannot remember what we've had. Lunch was nice but not mind blowing. Prices are reasonable

Great breakfast atmosphere where you can lose yourself not only in the passing of people but the decadence of savoury and sweet deliciousness.<br/><br/>Wonderous dishes and juices served in old little glass milk bottles made me smile immensely as my stomach gorged on salmon and beef. Full flavoured and balanced I am keen to consume more of the menu as the months dribble by in the summer sunshine.

This has become my friend and I's go to breakfast place after every Saturday. The food here is amazing, this place should be number 1 on the hidden gems category. Amazing friendly staff, amazing ambience. Wonderful place this!

Great restaurant with an amazing chef. The food never disappoints and the specials are great. <br/>The coffee on the other hand... well someone needs to go on a barista course. Over heating coffee and burning the beans is a rookie error resulting in something I would rather not drink for the second time in a few weeks. <br/>This is the only reason my rating is 4.0 instead of 5.0

Wonderful cafe in Stoneridge shopping centre. Definitely and option for those looking for a good brunch in Edenvale. Breakfast is served till 11:30, and lunch thereafter. I had the chicken livers on ciabatta (which was their breakfast special for the day), which tasted great. The cafe it's is cosy and the service was decent. Will be back for another brunch.

What a lovely Café! I had breakfast with my significant other on 12 March and the wonderful energetic vibe was just what was needed on a Sunday morning. We had the Beans and Chorizo special as well as the Chorizo omelette (from the well thought out menu). I'm not one for sweeping statements but I must say that it was surely the best omelette that I have ever had. The flavours worked so well together, the egg was fluffy, the fillings was generous. I would not hesitate to recommend and will be back soon!

When I go to this cafe, it is always a special occasion followed by a happy dance because it is never a disappointment.<br/><br/>Keep a lookout for the blankets during winter which is essential if you're out for an early breakfast.<br/><br/>The baked goods look fresh and I've yet to try them.<br/><br/>The setting is minimal with no fancy shmancy decor to distract you from the great food. Quite enjoyed eating lunch at this cafe. The menu was lovely, lots of healthy and appetising meals. I had the seared fillet cous cous salad which was delicious, however I didn't have the bloody Mary sauce, I had a creamy balsamic one. The decor and ambience of the cafe is welcoming, and overall quite pleasant.<br/>My only critique would be that for a cafe in a shopping centre you are over-priced; especially on your specials board. But you offer good quality and good service.

Excellent breakfast and service. The restaurant was full and yet the service was perfect. Each of my guests had a different breakfast and we could not fault anything. The eggs with bacon on the corn fritters are excellent. Its great when a place gets poached eggs right. Can't wait to go back.

Thoroughly enjoy this cafe. Situated in a prominent crossing at Stoneridge Centre in between Wimpy, Ocean Basket, Primi Piatti and Rocomamas, there is alway hustle and bustle. After a bit of a trek from Bryanston to Stoneridge to sample this gem that I have heard so much about from my friends on the East Rand, its easy to see why it has such a loyal following.. Café Billi Bi is a bustling coffee shop that is known for signature style and casual café dining. On the food side, think homemade pasta's and pies, a wide variety of breakfasts, fresh salads, hearty burgers and Mokador coffee to match. <br/><br/>There was something, however on my visit on Saturday that worried me (and I would like the Café to try to address) within the shopping centre. With children playing at our feet around the table, an armed security guard in uniform (with what looked like an AK-47) walked right through the middle of the outside tables where we were seated, and although I am not a mother myself, I nearly had heart failure trying to tell the kids to move away from him. I find it inexcusable that he did not have the gun pointed firmly at the ground, and although I am sure that safety must be a concern, it was a really disconcerting experience to see someone walk past you with a gun pointed at you over his shoulder.<br/><br/>Chef Clifford Correia, both the chef and owner of Café Billi Bi has over twenty years' experience and although on my first visit, I didn't find my seared tuna all that overwhelming, the presentation of the dish was beautiful and service received friendly. Got to Cafe Billi Bi and it was reasonably busy, so I went inside to seat myself. Ordered a glass of water and coke which took forever. After bringing food to the table , the waitress disappeared. Asked the manager for another glass of water and tabasco sauce, none of these were brought to me. After the bland meal, I had to get up and ask someone for the bill. Service was crap. Did not tip obviously, and NEVER going back again :)

I've heard great things about Cafe Billi Bi and decided to try it out with a group of family friends who are regular visitors to the establishment. I was not disappointed! A cosy, bistro-style restaurant with fresh, delicious and homely food situated in the heart of Greenstone. I ordered the gourmet burger and was presented with two beautifully crafted burgers that were tasty and highlighted by an exquisite homemade onion marmalade. The service is quick and the waitrons are accomodating. Will definitely be back.

Best eggs Benedict in JHB absolutely fantastic. Haven't been here for a few months and the food has really improved. Wife had the omelette which was also great.

Excellent service and my fiance and I were accommodated even though we had no reservation. Well-presented and intelligent food served on time and absolutely delicious! I recommend the potato rostie breakfast very affordably priced. Busy, friendly atmosphere, indoor and outside seating available. A must if you are in the area.

Tasty food and cosy environment. We enjoyed a fabulous meal! The sirloin steaks were perfectly cooked and tender. The sole; special of the day, pulled away from the bone with ease and was topped with a deliciously creamy mushroom sauce. We enjoyed various coffees- one of them a soy milk cappuccino. The menu does not disappoint, and Gordon, the manager is both friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

This place is very cool. Small little place. Must be like 50 seater. But some really good food and drinks and ice cream. Nice and casual just relax.

I love this restaurant! we've been here several times and I've never been disappointed. service is prompt and friendly and the food is always good. my favourite place to get a salad as they are so packed full of goodies it's a treat rather than rabbit food. I ordered the springboard carpaccio salad which comes with blue cheese, mozzarella, strawberries, orange segments and beetroot. the combination of blue cheese with the fruits is outstanding. my husband ordered the chicken, haloumi and quinoa salad with hummus dressing which was also extremely tasty. their coffee is a bit strong for my liking but my husband, who is a coffee lover, said he enjoyed his cafe latte. I will be back soon for my salad fix!<br/><br/><br/>

All in all, a nice lunch! I expected a bit more too be honest. Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes though. Their pies and salads seemed to be the main hit. The menu was a bit overpriced and our food took quite some time to arrive. Really friendly, good service. And their cheesecake is seriously seriously good. I might just head back to grab another slice.

What a great little breakfast spot! <br/><br/>I usually don't go out for breakfast, but had the privilege of enjoying a delicious meal at Cafe Billi Bi. As a change, I decided to try the smoked salmon option- and I was not disappointed. The sauce was very well done and the salmon was fresh and accompanied the poached eggs surprisingly well. <br/><br/>This is also one of the only establishments where I have had a decent pot of tea served with another pot of boiling water to top it up(virtually never happens anywhere else). <br/><br/>The service was attentive and friendly. Management made itself visible and checked up on us. The centre in which the cafe is situated is under construction currently, but it did not detract from the great experience at all.

Waitron was extremely disrespectful, didn't pay attention had to order twice and rib-eye steak was bad. Horrible experience, been here quite a few times and things have gone down the drain. Not worth it anymore.

Brought the family for a Sunday bite. Kids had the chicken pie generously filled with chicken mushrooms & peas and a pasta with meatballs which initially had too much chilli but was exchanged with no issues for one with less spice. Missus had a chicken ciabatta sandwich with avo & I had a steak on ciabatta. All meals were very tasty with generous portions. Will definitely be back to savour more of the menu.

My family came here on Mothers Day for breakfast. Although we didn't have a reservation and all the tables were booked, the extremely friendly manager made a plan to accommodate us. <br/>Having been here several times, the food and service are amazing. They always have new specials available to try, the food is affordable and the tarts and cakes on offer are delicious. Definitely a place worth trying out if you are in the area and looking for a breakfast or lunch spot.👌🏼<br/>

A cute little cafe situated in Stone ridge Shopping center.<br/>Decided to try this place out on Monday morning as it was a public holiday-i was in a bit of a rush and was quickly meeting a friend for breakfast so decided to just opt for the traditional breakfast of Bacon, eggs, tomato and toast. The service was good and the waitress was on the ball, she brought me everything exactly as I had asked and the food was ready quite quickly. <br/>I would definitely like to come back here another day to try their Corn Hot Cakes!<br/><br/>They are currently renovating outside at the shopping center and there is a bunch of scaffolding everywhere but the restaurant really did their best to make you feel comfortable if sitting outside! The manager on duty even came round to each table to check we were okay.

It's lacked a bit of flavour but the atmosphere and service was great.

Looooove looove this restaurant! All I can say is, its worth the drive. Delicious food all time, great ambience and good service. They serve breakfast and lunch only. They make the most creative salads and they also make banting options for you health freaks. I had a banting tortilla which was very delicious. Try out the restaurant and you wont be disappointed.

A cosy cafe in the heart of Edenvale which caters for everyone. The decor is welcoming and the staff are friendly. There is a good variety of sandwiches and off menu items for vegetarians such as an egg mayo sandwich or pasta.  The waiter that took care of us was very helpful and efficient. The food was enjoyable and a good portion. I will pop in again for a breakfast or a light lunch in the near future as I was not disappointed.

I have been looking forward to coming here for a long time but forget about it when they are open. This time we planned ahead and went on a Sunday afternoon and it was great. The service was quick even though the were at capacity. The food did not take too long and was well worth the wait. The management here is impeccable, friendly, observant and interacts with all of the customers. The only complaint I would have is that empty plates linger a bit on the tables and that waiters only clear tables that are their own. I would definitely go back as they are priced well for the quality of food they offer and should average per person R130 for a meal and a drink.

Their breakfast specials are the best. A bit pricey but well worth it. Especially their pulled pork eggs Benedict! Highly recommended. We will be back

I will try to keep this short and sweet. <br/><br/>The decor is amazing and the food is alright. <br/><br/>I had a seafood meal. Although on the menu it said that it was fish and prawns, the meal was maybe 1% prawns. I guess all restaurants do this though which is understandable (but still shouldn't be the case). The portions are slightly on the generous side which is a plus. <br/><br/>Some advice, don't be shy and try the iced coffee or one of the milkshakes, very nice.<br/><br/>The service is decent too, friendly knowledgeable staff, no complaints there.<br/><br/>This is one of the better establishments in the Greenstone area, I would reccomend a visit.<br/><br/>Ratings:<br/>Food: 3/5<br/>Decor: 4/5<br/>Service: 3.5/5

Took my mom for lunch here since she now resides in Krugersdorp so dont get to see her too often . <br/><br/>Settled in at 11:30 and got served by the wonderful Ashley . Waited till 12:30 to order as we were waiting for my BF to finish work . Mom had the Spicy Chicken skewers ,BF the Trout and Watermelon Salad and for me , the pulled Pork Flatbread. The food was divine ! The flatbread was incredible with roast veg cooked into it and extra soft , tasty roast veg on top with the pulled pork pilled on top ! So so good . <br/><br/>Will be back for more and more and more !

It's not the Ritz, but situated in a somewhat unlikely location Billi Bi is a bistro of superb quality. All dishes are prepared with great skill and attention. Although, the bistro fare approaches fine dining quality sometimes. Truly worth a visit. Go with friends.

One of our favorite places to eat breakfast or lunch. We have become regulars and are never disappointed in the delicious food or service. The smoked salmon breakfast is our favorite, followed by the Camembert salad

I had a great breakfast here with my sister. We both ordered omelettes, they were yum. Coffee is gooood:) and the service is great. Friendly. Efficient. And i love the way the manager is so involved on the floor, i think thats part of the reason why the service is so great. The manager even told me to stop taking pictures and put down the phone and start eating before my food got cold :) hahaha.

I live really close to Cafe Billi Bi and we eat here on a regular basis. The food is always good. Great to take people for breakfast on the weekend or just have a good lunch in general. You can order of the main menu but we usually like to try one of their daily menu offers. I'm not sure if many people know this but they have one of the best pinacoladas!

I have ordered both off the menu and from the specials board, and have not been disappointed by Billi Bi. <br/><br/>The salad's (specifically the venison carpaccio salads) are amazing! Highly recommended!<br/><br/>The staff are attentive, and polite. <br/>The decor is really nicely done, and definitely gives the patrons something to discuss if there is a lull in the conversation. I am also a fan of the partially open kitchen, it really makes the place seem inviting and interesting.

I regularly have breakfast at Billi Bi. They have established themselves as an Edenvale / Greenstone leader in the cafe / breakfast-brunch restaurant market. They have a nice variety of meals and always introducing new items on their specials menu.

We love this little treasure. Great for lunch. The food is always good and lovely to sit outside. Staff are friendly and always seem happy. The selection of food will please any taste and the healthier ingredient choices are a great hit. Haven't had dinner there but will definitely give it a try.

Our fav spot in Edenvale. All the staff is friendly. Great atmosphere, definitely a place I recommend to try. Foods great drinks are vast and varied. What a lovely day and awesome breakfast will be back again 😊Ashley Pereira

Cafe Billi Bi is the perfect place for family lunch, girlfriends-get-togethers, friends reunions and even dates. The atmosphere is great and has soothing music playing in the background (which is extremely needed on the day we went as the temperature was so high we could pass out :/ )<br/>The waiters and waitresses are so friendly and the chef even popped his head out of the kitchen counter introducing us their signature desserts :).<br/><br/>Merelda ordered a duck breast salad (it was a special meal written on the blackboard so if you're interested in tasting it, make sure you go on the right day - we went on Wednesday at 3ish 😊.) The duck breast was seared beautifully and the salad as a whole was such a great meal for a hot day. I ordered a Salmon and Halloumi wrap and a little salad was included at the side. It was so so good. (maybe because Halloumi is my all time favourite cheese? I don't know. It was just so good.)<br/>The downside was that the price was a little high for cafes in general but the food quality was amazing so the cost was quite worth it :D<br/><br/>For desserts we got a chocolate ganache cake, baked cheesecake with caramel and almonds and BERRY MILLE. Yes, the captial letters were needed. I recommend everyone to order the berry mille as it is TO DIE FOR. They used flat pistachio cookies, homemade custard and gigantic strawberries along with strawberry sauce. The sweetness was near perfection and everything went really really well together. It was one of the best desserts I've had. Literally. :)<br/><br/>I love this restaurant and would definitely come back again. ❤<br/>

This is a great cafe. Went there due to great rating on Zomato and I wasn't not disappointed. The customer service was great. And the food was even better. The environment is a little loud for working but otherwise great. Thank you cafe billi bi

First time "dining" in the East. This place made great impression.<br/>They offer quite the inviting menu - struggled to choose a dish. They also have great specials.<br/>Will definitely be back to explore more of their menu.

We saw the review for this restaurant on Zomato. With a rating of 4.5 we just had to give it a try. It was a scorching hot Sunday lunch time so we sat outside at one of the tables on the sidewalk. It was cool & vibey & very pleasant. <br/>The service was prompt & efficient but not oozing friendliness. <br/>The decor is uncomplicated & reflects a soothing atmosphere with a sort of industrial aftertaste. <br/>The menu was interesting but the chalkboard specials for the day was very appealing. <br/>I had the pulled pork belly on flatbread & my wife had the calamari & avo salad. <br/>The presentation of the pork was outstanding. It looked so appetising & tasted awesome. The combination of sauces, peppers, aubergine, perperdews, tomato, lettuce & pork on flatbread was mouthwatering. I absolutely loved the meal. <br/>My wife raved about her calamari & couldn't get enough. <br/>The helpings are really large & leaves no space for anything else but coffees. The espresso & cuppacino was very good & rounded off the meal really well. <br/>Overall we had an excellent lunch & a wonderful experience & it's a pleasure to recommend this restaurant to others.

This is our favourite breakfast place to go to over the weekend. Great food, great service, great ambience and great coffee. They also do good lunches too, especially their salads!

Having heard a lot about this spot, decided to check it out! Great Decor/atmosphere - Great Pasta's, except for them switching up the choices of pasta - although quite pricey for the area.

This place got everything you want. Fantastic coffee,great fresh food and friendly service. I wish more places can be like this. I had the corn cakes with poached egg and the egg was perfect. I will definitely return.

Lovely unique menu drawn out in chalkboards. Attentive staff who are eager to please. Delicious food and coffee. Good outdoor and indoor atmosphere.

I am in love with this cafe! The decor is plain and very tasteful. Staff are friendly. Very relaxed vibe whether sotting indoors or outdoors. Great, unique menu. We had the baked camembert salad and the creamy seafood pasta. Both dished were tops!! We are definitely going back! And soon!

This has to be my favourite cafe in Joburg. Their specials board is always fresh and exciting and their presentation is always on point. Good for breakfast, lunch, and even just coffee and cake. There really is nothing better than ditching the stock standard franchises and being treated to uniqueness that comes from owners with an obvious passion for food.

This is one of our fav places & it always out does itself!<br/>First pic is the absolutely lip smacking, plate licking grilled Rib-eye with mash, veggies & BONE MARROW sauce--Tantalizing taste-buds that was amazingly delicious!!! Hearty, earthy, comfort food! Rib-eye was succulent & soft, veggies were tasty & crisp, bone marrow sauce was to die for!!!!<br/><br/>2nd Last pic was the roast duck on flatbread! My oh my! Yum yum to the tum!!! Look at those toppings! Crispy roast duck, halloumi, flatbread, greens, balsamic glaze, roasted peppers & more! It was on their Specials menu, so go quick if you don't want to miss out!!! Amazing....Sea food pasta an absolute must have!!!!

My first breakfast there was an absolute pleasure! Service was efficient and friendly. I ordered the hot corn cake breakfast and it was beautifully presented and tasted even better. I had a delicious cappuccino and a large jug of beautifully presented lemon water for the table. Unfortunately on my second visit there the cappuccino cream was incredibly sour. However, I sent it back and they didn't charge me. I also ate the most divine chocolate ganache cake- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! <br/>Be sure to let a waiter seat you otherwise if you walk up to an empty table without a waiter acknowledging then you run the risk of no one coming to take your order or give you menu's because they are often very busy and you will go unnoticed in this case.

Good lunch menu selection, fast friendly service. Huge portions makes for good value for money. Outside seating which is a great change. Treat for a quick lunch and will be back for a salad next time.

Awesome open retro chicken panini at this little bistro. I can recommend this place for a quick lunch time meal. Meals are rather large and if you are not on the hungry side I suggest sharing.

Cute little cafe, in a very quiet part of the centre. The salad was really good and so was the Service. Perfect if you were in the area shopping or even made a stop over from the adventure golf from across the street. If you have kids, there's plenty of space for them to run around while you sit down for a quick bite.

Had a really delicious lunch at Cafe Billi Bi today! I had a chicken pie which was so delicious and just what my body needed on a rainy miserable day like today! The chicken salad also looked really tasty. It's a cute little restaurant with good food and a great place to catch up with friends! Will definitely be back!

Oh my goodness I love this place! Good coffee, delicious and unique food (with a constantly changing specials list) and the best Apple Crumble pie I have ever tasted! Been here a few times and have not been disappointed once! Fabulous!!!

My wife and i often pop in for lunch and have always thought the food is wonderful, presentation clean and tasteful. In summer with the doors open it is a fantastic venue with super Wicked Cream ice cream treats in tubs for take away as well.

It's strange how hidden gems are all around you. And this restaurant is definitely one of these hidden gems! Their food is absolutely outstanding! Not only is their presentation phenomenal but also the ingredients they use and the combination of the various ingredients. I am so thankful I found this place! You've earned a new loyal customer in the making!

Relaxing Cafe, great for sunny days and hungry tummies. <br/><br/>*Disclaimer: we were hosted by Zomato and Cafe Billi Bi for a foodie meetup, and this review is based on the experience of the day.<br/><br/>Cafe Billi Bi doesn't boast a beautiful garden but the setting is pleasant and open-planned. The deco reminded us a little like Tasha's in their olden days, cute and rustic. Our waiter is very friendly and he knows their menu well. It's the best when you can't decide what to choose and the waiter provides helpful suggestions :) <br/><br/>Our food was delicious. We were surprised by the beautiful presentation when they arrived, and even more pleased with the flavours. I tried the fish cake, which was moist and flavorful. The sides that came with it were also flawless. I was particularly impressed with the freshness of the salad. The seafood pasta featured amazingly tender prawns, salmon and calamari. The sauce was rich but not heavy, it came together beautifully with the al dente pasta. <br/><br/>THE PEACAN NUT CAKE IS HEAVEN (no, all caps is intentional)! Order it, and order another one to take home. All the desserts we tried are lovely, but I really think the peacan nut pie is the champion. All the dessert were a little on the rich side, my best advice is to order some coffee and eat it all ;)<br/><br/>Bottomline: I'll most definitely come back. I wish they open at night too though.. <br/><br/>Pros: delicious food, great presentation and friendly staff <br/>Cons: lacking in the vibe, the price is a tad higher for cafes (so worth it though), it's probably great for family but a tad too many children running around :P
