I went there for lunch & the food far exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately, the service wasn’t that great (but I guess it was okay since it was a hot Wednesday during lunch time, perhaps waiters were a little sluggish). I ordered the platter for two with a side of potato wedges and a Greek salad. It was quiet a bit of food, I must admit, but I enjoyed every single bite. The general vibe of the place is really great, also. They had a DJ that played really good music! If you have time, I recommend giving this place a try (have a little patience because the service is really poor).

Food was generously portioned and tasty. The mojito was delicious! Minty and not too sweet. Really the attraction here is the low key house music and the rooftop vibe - people watching with beer in-hand. Awesome Sunday chill spot!

Good place, good service, a bit expensive bit very reasonable in this neighbourhood. We had a bottle of wine for 95 rand. Atmosphere is nice. Good place to spend a little time if you are in Maboneng. I would recommend this place.

I initially came jst for their coctails they are jst out of this world only to find out the food is awsome aswell. Its a 10 out of 10 im even going back today to order the same meal. As promised i went back the next day. My waiter was victor, awsome service

If you're looking for a great night out, this is the place to be. The security is a little useless, not gonna lie. My phone got stolen inside the place so be careful but it's always a great vibe.

Great place to chill and sip cocktails. Enjoyed the vibe and the music played. The hubbly bubbly was a great addition to our experience here. Cocktails were well executed. People were enjoying the views and music. The waitresses were prompt and friendly. Would definitely visit again.

Our breakfast was very disappointing. All three orders were incorrect. We asked for well done eggs and got scrambled. They didn't have white bread. Music was too loud for 10am.

Ambience: This is a cute little place. Very minimalist. The music they were playing was very nice. Food: Ordered an Orange juice, and was dissapointed with the quality however the chicken curry I had was one of the best I've ever tasted! The food is beautifully presented. Service: The lady who served us was very nice and came to check on us multiple times. I'll go back for the chicken curry!

Came here for our anniversary dinner, must say, very lovely place The open deck was great for a warm night. The food was delicious. The deep fried pap was definitely something new and very tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed the chakalaka. Value for money. And will be visiting again soon.

I would make score this a 2.5. It is perfectly acceptable to have drinks at before a rugby game. We ordered a quesadilla and it was dripping in oil. I wouldn't order food from here again.

Great food, great value for money. Good wine. Love the difference. Waitress sucked: got food wrong, always asked for her, had a bad attitude and then takes our credit from the table twice and turns her back so we can’t see the card. When we questioned this she looked us up and down as if to say what’s the problem. This is illegal. She could close this place down. Won’t go back as long as she works there.

LoveRevo is one of my fave place in Maboneng. Love the Vibe, Love the Food. Always feel at home and the staff is super friendly. My fave meal is the chicken mushroom pasta, and the sliders. Always great.

I just had the most horrible experience here. I bought a groupon. I called before it expired and they said they were closed for repairs. I was instructed to call back at the end of January. I told them that my Groupon would expire on the 15th. I was told that was fine, they would honor it. So I called back at the end of January when I returned from the USA. I explained what happened and was told no problem. I could make my reservation whenever. So I made the reservation for February 10th to kick off the Valentine's weekend. The owner, Senzo, told me that since he couldn't recoup his money (Groupon has left South Africa), then I am out of luck. He could not give me the discount I already paid nor even the rand value of what I paid. Then he had the audacity to say if I had called, they would have told me. I reiterated that I called twice. I (I have since given him screenshots of both calls to no avail). Nothing! Please friends in South aAfrica and the USA, when you come to Maboneng, Do Not Waste your money here. Especially those who have airbnb clients or couchsurfers every week. Take your money elsewhere. #AppalledAtThe LackOfService

I feel like this place is way too ridiculously overpriced for the food you're getting. I thought the waiter was absolutely a gem. She honestly went that extra mile for me and my friend. The nice thing about this place definately is the awesome view of the city that you get while sitting at the top section. Other than that I'm not too impressed.

We bought a Groupon for Love Revo and struggled to get a booking for a Friday night for about two weeks, as the restaurant is quite small and fills up fast. We eventually secured a booking for last night. The place has a really quirky feel and it's quite nice and open. It definitely fits in well with the whole Maboneng vibe. Our waitress was really nice and friendly but the food did take quite a while to come out. The Groupon deal was for either lamb chops or steak with a side. The flavour of the lamb chops was really delicious, and it was cooked quite well. I tried some of my boyfriends steak and it was also very nicely marinaded and quite tasty. For a side I tried the morogo, which I found quite bland. The main let down was the portion size. Nearly everyone at the table was still hungry after their meals. The lamb chops were quite tiny and they give you a very small portion of whatever side you order.

Love Revo is situated in the new Maverick Corner section of the Maboneng Precinct. We went for lunch on voters day afternoon and sat on the deck which has a great view. The food was good traditional fair, I had the chicken livers which were served in a delicious sauce, I also had the pap which came in small deep fried cubes served with a tasty homemade chakalaka. I must admit I was hoping for a large bowl of hearty pap but the small tapas version still went down well. This is a great new addition to an awesome area.

Love Revo serves generous portions of South African style tapas for a very reasonable price. Service was good and the food was simple and tasty. The pap was a highlight - cubes of pap, crumbed with a bean sauce. A lovely experience. I definitely plan to return.

I bought a groupon voucher which stated it's valid on monday to sunday and wanted to make a reservation for Saturday. When i called to make a reservation the owner very rudely told me the that the voucher is only valid Tuesday to Friday. I should call Groupon and tell them to change it! He will just keep on telling whoever calls to make a reservation for the weekend the same thing! The owner was very rude and thats not how u treat your customers!

Awesome place in Maboneng with great food , drinks and cool ambience. The meat platter is certainly a favourite offering a variety of grilled tapas portion meats. Make sure you visit this place.
