4 stars as there's always room for improvement. My mum and I went for the cheese wheel experience, and it was very different. We enjoyed it. The only advice I have is not to eat anything else as the pasta is extremely filling. Also, don't order any extras for the pasta unless you really want to. We
Food and atmosphere was great! Nice cocktail 241 daily from 12h to 18h.
Food portions were a tad small. Delicious food though and great drinks. We spent hours here having drinks and watching the people of Linden living their lives. Definitely a good and cozy spot worth visiting.
If you’re looking for something a little different then this spot is right up your alley. With a Tex-Mex and Asian inspired fusion dishes to choose from. The baked cheese dish with chorizo was incredible. Great burgers and ice cold beer on tap. Nice spot for a lovely meal or just a drink with friend
Had a very nice experience at Choo Choo waiters service was on point. Food was delicious. Sunday has a 2 for one cocktail special. We had 8 cocktails total, two other different drinks 5 mains for under R1000.00. I call that a bargain of note. Thank you to the staff that made my wife's birthday feel
We had the cheese wheel pasta dish thing. Great to have the food being prepared in that manner, and the way chef explained the process, concept and history really rounded out the experience.
My second visit and it was fun. Great vibe, lovely food, economically viable with exceptional service.
We had the wine pairing and food, last night and it was fantastic! The four courses served were delicious and the wines complemented each dish perfectly. The service and personal attention, even from getting out of the car in the pouring rain and being escorted into the restaurant under an umbrella
Such a lovely restaurant, the lava cake is amazing, flatbread is delicious, cocktails are well combined. Our waiter, Godfrey was God sent. Amazing human. Loved the whole experience
It's a bar/resturant, but more of a restaurant than a bar. Good vibes, nice atmosphere. Parking is on the street, and there are car guards. Food is ok. Good place to meet up with a group of friends.
Finally got to try the flaming cheese wheel that happens on Wednesdays. Restaurant has a lovely warm atmosphere. Waiter was very friendly. The owner presents the flaming cheese wheel with a full explanation. The pasta was very yummy and my daughter loved the display and the pasta. She even had 2nds.
Awesome: a steampunk themed restaurant. They have a global cuisine menu. A novel drinks menu (a whole section of absinthe cocktails). Friendly and attentive staff. We opted for the restaurant week Asian menu. Lovely ideas but I felt the mains were too sweet and lead to unbalanced dishes. And I found
Was an amazing experience. We did the cheese wheel experience on a Wednesday night and the owner did it for us so we were able to chat with her and see the love and passion she has for the food they create and server. A must try.
What a wonderful experience. Tastes of the world happen here on a Wednesday with 4 course meals. They differ all the time and you can taste the world. Friendly vibe hidden in Linden, Johannesburg. Take the time to visit this place you won't be dissappointed in the food, the drink and the atmosphere.
We went especially to try out the Cheese wheel. Definitely a unique experience. Pasta was tasty with extra toppings to order as per individual taste preferences. Definitely a must. I loved my chili cocktail with "horns "
Awesome food in an interesting setting. Good variety of dishes presented in a unique way. Well recommended. They also run daily specials so we’ll probably be back some time.
Themby recommended that I visit the restaurant because it serves delicious food. She might be employed there, I think. Both the ambiance and the food were outstanding. Fantastic mocktails are offered by the establishment. My friends and I went and had pizza.
Lovely vegetarian nachos that we shared as a starter. Has to get doggy bags for mains of flat bread and calamari. All delish and their coctails special was the cheery on the top
This restaurant is always a fun night out. They have themed nights every month and twice a week they make pasta from a flaming cheese wheel. The menu is made up of all different flavors and specialities from all over the world. The food is fantastic. I recommend the flat bread, my favourite is the d
