Quick service even when busy. Delicious food , whatever I have ordered here since I have been living nearby, has been tasty, nice stop after shopping.Friendly staff and nice variety
It's always a pleasure dining at the Norwood Mugg & Bean. Their service is good even when they're busy, the food doesn't take too long to arrive, and the staff are competent.
I had their choc chip flapjacks the last time I was there, and the serving is generous and delicious! Definitely a must-try. The new tea floats are also great!
Sometimes their card machines are offline, which is a bit of a problem. Ensure you have cash on hand before visiting this branch.
Food was good, service was good, the establishment was clean and tidy. Certainly allot better than the EastGate branch. Overall had a great meal.
My great aunt and uncle are regulars at this Mugg and Bean branch so I land up there a fairly often. The staff are lovely and service, while sometimes on the slow side, is usually good. They are pretty consistent in terms of their fare compared to other branches. Never had a meal here that I did not enjoy. Only downside is that it can get quite noisy from the foot traffic in the mall
I was so proud of myself when I woke up early on a public holiday to go for a class at MovementX. After the class I thought I'd treat myself to a healthy breakfast at M&J...but, I caught sight of the choc chips muffins and there was no turning back;-)
These muffins are a nostalgic favourite...used to have them for breakfast when I first started working...still enjoyed it very much.
I eat here often and it is always busy. I can say I have never had a bad meal here and their drink options are the best in town (but on the pricy side). On my recent visit I had a lovely breakfast with a good friend of mine. Service is great as well. Well done MnB, I like that the experience is kept relatively standard at every branch I go to.
Had a fantastic meal at Mugg and Bean today. I was served by Hans who was great. I ordered a breakfast roll which was good value for money.

For those who are of a healthy nature Mugg and Bean offer a fantastic breakfast Eggs Benedict in the form of the Bacon & Creamy Avo 😍
So what does this get you? Well for starter Bacon, because well...Bacon, Grilled Black Mushrooms topped with the bacon, two poached eggs with creamy avo and two grilled tomatoes on the side. This made me full and hit the spot for a delicious breakfast!
For anyone who's been in South Africa for a while, you know you can count on Mugg and Bean for a good breakfast and coffee. This is the perfect place to come snack, hang out or chill with friends over some good light meals made with love. If you like me enjoy spending time with friends in a nice place then this is the staple diet of coffee with a friend place to go to!
Norwood is my local mall for shopping and it's definitely the best place to eat here. The staff are so friendly and the food has never let me down. They also cater for the healthier option, which is such a win. Mary and Barbara manage everything so well and deserve the recognition.
The food didn't take long to be prepared and served,, very mouth watering🤤🤤 I must say. Future was our waitress and she gave us the great service as she kept on checking on us if we needed anything... Great customer service. The only disappointing thing was they use the table for 2 for also for 4 sitting people and the table gets full to a point whereby you not feel comfortable and don't know where to place other items like cups and/or glasses and plates.
Man I was sickly on the day and I did not have appetite for nothing much. But I needed to refill my energy levels. There comes the story of coffee vs. slush at M&B.

I was happy with my food, but my wife found that her pre-salted chips were too salty and would prefer to add her own, they also had a spice on which she found too sweet.
My Son took me to celebrate Father's Day. The new menu is excellent. We had chicken livers Chipotle, a large orange juice and a regular cappuccino with cream. The service was excellent the food and drinks were superb. I must say the Mugg & Bean by Norwood Mall serves the best cappuccino with cream. You should try it. 😉👍
The team in the kitchen made some Really good food. Wonderful service from the team. Our waiter Talent treated us exceptionally well. The resturant wasn't too busy which meant it was nice to sit and relax.
We have been going here for about 3 years now and EVERY single time we go we get treated with the most welcoming staff, quick and well prepared food and an amazing vibe!
