The food didn't take long to be prepared and served,, very mouth watering🤤🤤 I must say. Future was our waitress and she gave us the great service as she kept on checking on us if we needed anything... Great customer service. The only disappointing thing was they use the table for 2 for also for 4 sitting people and the table gets full to a point whereby you not feel comfortable and don't know where to place other items like cups and/or glasses and plates.

My Son took me to celebrate Father's Day. The new menu is excellent. We had chicken livers Chipotle, a large orange juice and a regular cappuccino with cream. The service was excellent the food and drinks were superb. I must say the Mugg & Bean by Norwood Mall serves the best cappuccino with cream. You should try it. 😉👍

The team in the kitchen made some Really good food. Wonderful service from the team. Our waiter Talent treated us exceptionally well. The resturant wasn't too busy which meant it was nice to sit and relax.

The service was good. My meal however I felt was very average for the price. I had the corn fritters with bacon and avo, it was underseasoned and the fritters slightly doughy and not very tasty. My guest also remarked that their meal was average and that it's not soemthing they would order again. The milkshake and chai latte was very good✅

Came here for breakfast, need to get there early or there’s no space available. Had the avo and egg on toast- very stingy with the avo. Hubby had the breakfast- not sure about the honey glazed bacon trend but we are NOT fans. It’s convenient so will probably be back.

Even thou I'm usually at the mall mugg&bean service tends need an adjustment. Especially when you dine alone, the waiters seem to forget you and you have to constantly try to find one to actually bring you the bill. <br/>Yes sadly there are not many options in the mall the food however is always great.

It's always a pleasure dining at the Norwood Mugg & Bean. Their service is good even when they're busy, the food doesn't take too long to arrive, and the staff are competent.<br/><br/>I had their choc chip flapjacks the last time I was there, and the serving is generous and delicious! Definitely a must-try. The new tea floats are also great!<br/><br/>Sometimes their card machines are offline, which is a bit of a problem. Ensure you have cash on hand before visiting this branch.

My great aunt and uncle are regulars at this Mugg and Bean branch so I land up there a fairly often. The staff are lovely and service, while sometimes on the slow side, is usually good. They are pretty consistent in terms of their fare compared to other branches. Never had a meal here that I did not enjoy. Only downside is that it can get quite noisy from the foot traffic in the mall

I was so proud of myself when I woke up early on a public holiday to go for a class at MovementX. After the class I thought I'd treat myself to a healthy breakfast at M&J...but, I caught sight of the choc chips muffins and there was no turning back;-)<br/>These muffins are a nostalgic favourite...used to have them for breakfast when I first started working...still enjoyed it very much.

Norwood Mall is not close to home, but it is where our awesome hair stylist is!! So it has been a routine for yeara now to have our hair done on a Saturday morning and have brunch at Mugg & Bean. I love all their breakfasts. Famous One is my favorite and any omlette combination. They now have banting bread which is a bonus. Staff are always friendly and efficient.

Popped in for a light meal with my sister today. She loves M&G but I find their food a bit lacking to be honest. We shared the Mexican Fiesta platter which was nice, nothing to write home about but nice. I found their cream cheese tasted like leftover whipped creamed mixed with cream cheese which was a bit weird. We also shared the cheesecake which was also good not as tangy as I'd like but solid. The service is always fast and friendly and I do enjoy their breakfast menu so I will definitely be coming here for a bite for some time to come.

I eat here often and it is always busy. I can say I have never had a bad meal here and their drink options are the best in town (but on the pricy side). On my recent visit I had a lovely breakfast with a good friend of mine. Service is great as well. Well done MnB, I like that the experience is kept relatively standard at every branch I go to.

The coffee is horrible! And you have to be careful what you order as some things on there menu are better than other things. Some of there items are not good at all! But the food I had was quite good. The service is good and the vibe is great!

Shocking experience with owner Paul on Saturday last week. Salad was not correct in portion size, ingredients were over ripe etc. Horribly disrespected by owner when I tried to politely enquire and give feedback. The perfect kind actually!<br/><br/>For those who are of a healthy nature Mugg and Bean offer a fantastic breakfast Eggs Benedict in the form of the Bacon & Creamy Avo 😍<br/><br/>So what does this get you? Well for starter Bacon, because well...Bacon, Grilled Black Mushrooms topped with the bacon, two poached eggs with creamy avo and two grilled tomatoes on the side. This made me full and hit the spot for a delicious breakfast!<br/><br/>For anyone who's been in South Africa for a while, you know you can count on Mugg and Bean for a good breakfast and coffee. This is the perfect place to come snack, hang out or chill with friends over some good light meals made with love. If you like me enjoy spending time with friends in a nice place then this is the staple diet of coffee with a friend place to go to!

Norwood is my local mall for shopping and it's definitely the best place to eat here. The staff are so friendly and the food has never let me down. They also cater for the healthier option, which is such a win. Mary and Barbara manage everything so well and deserve the recognition.

Good for a quick breakfast or lunch, with friendly service. Their salads have a fair amount of veggies and the tomato soup is a good portion and very tasty. They also offer you the option of Macon if you don't eat Bacon which is great.

I like this mug and bean . I like their smoothies and chicken nuggets 😋. But I extremely love the biscuits they give with their hot drinks. They are definitely one of the best in my opinion so I would definitely recommend it for Mug and Bean lovers.

Another apathetically mediocre franchise which has managed to survive by being "acceptable", but will need to be COMPLETELY revamped if it ever hopes to get 5/5 from me. The value-for-money factor is no longer there, and it's not as good as some of the other breakfast joints around town. This particular M&B is sadly one of the better ones, and only because their service is not as bad as some of the others. If you NEED food (and Alexanders is closed)...so be it. Don't say I didn't warn you

The service at this branch is always good and very friendly. It is well located with a lot of seating. The prices are a bit expensive for what you're getting though.If youre not a fan of coffee - try the red cupaccino - its really great!

You have to try the low carb bare burger! This M&B always has great food (better than others in the chain, I believe) and great staff. There is also free AlwaysOn wifi. If you're looking for somewhere quiet to work, ask for a table at the back.

Pur local office haunt for power failures and load shedding with bottomless coffees and lemonade tongi along with a bounty of plug points for your laptop.<br/><br/>The food is exactly what you'd expect from a franchised restaurant chain with nothing particularly outstanding or particularly bad either. <br/><br/>On the food side I can vouch for the backyard BBQ pretzel (the pic is of the menu but is actually what the meal looks like strangely enough).
