Great little place if you enjoy a good craft beer! If you don’t know what exact label you want, the (very) knowledgable and friendly staff is happy to make a recommendation based on what your palette desires. The food doesn’t take any focus away from the beers themselves and what is on offer is well chosen to pair and compliment any beer very well. Great atmosphere during lunch and after work, would definitely recommend coming here if you haven’t yet done so.

Lovely little beer bar with a very extensive craft beer menu, and the prices are also fairly reasonable. The music is not too loud either. There is sufficient parking right in front of the place. They also serve food such as burgers and chips. This is a great place to visit, especially once one becomes tired to visit the crowded places in Parkhurst. I van truly recommend it.

Found this place by accident after a stroll in the Gardens, because of their good signage. Was pleasantly surprised by the decor of mostly beer and a giant fan! They have all the craft beers, and their vegetarian aubergine burger was pretty good. Will definitely come back.

A big round of applause for the great selection of beers (South African brands in fact) and non-alcoholic drinks. I spent more time getting refills from the Tap the taste was fresh and crisp.
The place is easy to find with enough parking. Pub style food which was nice. My overall experience was interesting would definitely pop in again.

Lovely service. Brilliant selection of drinks and dishes. They do support South African breweries. The night that we were there, CBL, were hosting the brewer of the month and we were given tastes of upcoming beers. Cosy atmosphere.

I have never been so disgusted with a restaurant! I attended a birthday of a friend at Craft Beer Library this past Saturday and We were running separate tabs. I was completely shocked to find that my tab had been put under the name “Indian” just because of the colour of my skin. None of the waiters including the manager had the courtesy to come and ask me my name but instead just put my tab under Indian because I was the only Indian person at the table! And yet every other tab had the persons name on it. That is completely unacceptable and not to mention racist. Needless to say I will never be setting foot in this place again and I would not recommend it to anyone else!

Whilst you am immensely respectful of EVERYTHING that CBL is and does - INCLUDING allowing me to leave with an unpaid bill of R300 with nothing other than my cell number and a promise- I CANNOT abide watching a pair of alcoholics “get their beer on” with two younglings in strollers unable to make their own decision in an establishment that - by law - should not allow anyone under 18 passed the threshold. Where is the larger-minded awareness????
