Based in Newtown in Joburg, Craft Coffee is a proudly SA company representing all things quality in premium roasted coffee and coffee preparation. They have a coffee roastery and coffee shop. There coffees are delicious. It’s good to see the entire process. Unfortunately, they only open on weekdays.
Friendly service, rustic presentation and of course authentic craft coffee. Lovely coffee shop, with a trendy vibe. My favorite part is the way they cup the coffee.
This coffee bar and roasters reminds me of something out of Woodstock in Cape Town. The informal space is within a small early 1900's building, sporting double volume ceilings, wooden floorboards and tons of natural light.
The baristas are very skilled at their craft and the coffee itself is delicious. Definitely worth the drive if you don't live nearby.
They also sell a small selection of baked goods and other coffee related merchandise. Of course you can buy some beans as well.
Check it out if you're a serious coffee fan.
Always a pleasure to stop here for a cappuccino. The smell of fresh coffee when you walk in is always welcoming.

Was wandering through Newtown and came upon Craft Coffee roastery by chance. We just had a takeaway hazelnut iced coffee on recommendation from the manager, Lovejoy. Service was excellent, the staff were super friendly and the iced coffee delish. The decor is on point - hip, trendy, minimalist....
Little gem hidden in Newtown - fantastic coffee, great service and a wonderfully laid out store. Friends of mine work in the art studios around the corner and adore this place for their daily coffee dose. Highly recommended to all coffee lovers!!
Had Awsome Coffee and Chat at _Craftcoffee in Newtown yesterday. The passion of Lovejoy and the team is not just electrifying but palatable.
The service here is absolutely wonderful and although there isn't an abundance of goodies to choose from, the visual is still so enticing. It's perfectly placed - in such a cool area. The red velvet cupcake isn't to die for, but it's worth a try. They're super reasonably priced, too.
One of the best cups of coffee I’ve had ! Lovely set up. I also bought my self a bag of coffee beans for Home and am interested in attending the barista classes Craft coffee offers. My only complaint is that it was very cold in the store. A heater or two would have made it a 5 Star experience.
Favourite coffee shop and roaster in Johannesburg. Craft Coffee has a really authentic team of coffee specialists that value customer experience. These guys are exceptional.
The ambience in this place is utterly relaxing and not to mention the chill hop playlist😅 ,overall my favorite place for lattes and coffee.

They sell the best coffee ever. The aroma from the shop is something else. If you really love coffee you should try Rosebank Blend.

Coffee aficionados. Great place to buy good quality beans and ground coffee. Also nice to have a coffee from the small bar housed next to the roaster. Well worth a visit if you are into coffee

This is a place to get great coffee. Lovely staff. The only problem is that the shop is located in a dodgy area and not very visible.
