The only issue that I have is that they do not use fresh garlic. Apart from that the service is always friendly and the pizzas are really good.

We live 2 minutes away from La Nouva so it always the first option for a takeaway when we don't feel like cooking or to have a sit down dinner.

Addicted to their Pizza. I really enjoy a decent pizza done in a wood burning pizza oven, with a thin crust. Not these ‘American’ style pizzas.

Fantastic service and very yummy food at great prices. Sushi is freshly made at great prices. Best Pizza & Paste ever for just R 55.00. Try the Pollo Mistro chicken mushroom & avocado it's the best! Best Tasty Steaks to die for and yummy garlic mussels. Best Breakfast at R 29 add sausage and mushrooms to make it better than a trail blazer!
Great place for a Sunday breakfast, ideal to wait while your car is being washed next door! Speedy service, good food. My only critique is that there was a little delay re: opening time.

We have ordered food for home delivery twice and been amazed each time. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. We enjoyed the haloumi starter, arugula focaccia bread and the prawn fashion sandwiches. Will definitely recommend this restaurant 👍🏻

It amazes me that this little neighborhood restaurant is always half empty. It's a real little local place, that you can pop into for a quick, relatively inexpensive meal. Been there a few times and never had a bad meal. Recently had the most delicious zucchini fries ever. My husband says his prego was the best. The only thing lacking is the atmosphere and ambience which would improve if it was busier. Try it !
The La Nouva resturant used to have a long menu they have now gone for vibrant look. A couple of new items have been added as well. I tried the sirloin steak with basting sauce it was excellent. A quality piece of meat done to perfection. Will visit again
Ordered the Mon-Thur special for lunch and it's definitely the best value for money ever! I had the Beef Pesto. The pasta was flavorful, penne was cooked Al dente (it sounds easy, but not!), beef soft and tender, and the portion is very generous! Staff are friendly too and delivery is for free and quick! Have recommended to all my colleagues. Definitely will go every week!
This place has been around for years, changed names a couple of times but still the same. They have an awesome pizza oven and therefore make the most awesome pizzas. Really delicious! Not badly priced and friendly atmosphere. We will make this a regular pizza place from now on!

La Nouva is the best Italian restaurant in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg excellent food, excellently priced, excellent service and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.
First time at La Nouva, and it was amazing. The place has a nice, cozy atmosphere and the service from Cresencia was excellent. The food was great and the portion sizes quite decent. All in all a great experience.

This place has literally become my go to joint for tasty take out for my weekday dinners. The food is tasty, the staff is friendly. My only issue is there isn't enough variety on the pasta menu. I really like their wood oven pizza. It has a neighborhood pub feel, offers real value for your buck and good food.
Chicken pregos are amazing!!!! They are spicy and juicy and taste more-ish. Pizzas are just as good especially the Quattro, Regina and Mexicano. Service is friendly, manager knows us by name and gets take away orders ready in no time.
Went to this little gem yesterday for a quick bite to eat. To my surprise the food was actually really good and very well priced. Would go back in a heart beat.
Edit - and they did it again! Burgers are OUTSTANDING!!!! Such great pizzas and pastas!! We often order Takeaway, and the pizzas arrive quickly, with loads of toppings and tons of flavour! My favourite is the La Nouva with extra olives. The chorizo pasta is also to die for! So so good!! One of our favourites!
From starters to mains and deserts was excellent! The chocolate volcano is to die for!! The service and atmosphere was great and of course with the current heat the air con was a huge relief
Decided to pop into La Nouva as I saw that they have a special on all medium pizzas from Monday to Thursday! Special is R49 a pizza! What a lovely pizza they serve. I ordered the Quattro and it was full of toppings which was lovely. Thin based pizza made in pizza oven! :) winner winner!
Stopped here on a whim with the family for an early dinner after picking up the kids after school.
Whilst a little quiet (it was 3:30pm on a weekday so can't complain) I ordered a halloumi starter which was frankly delicious.
The kids had pizza and ribs, and I and my other half had chicken schnitzel, and Hawaiian pizza respectively. Really well made: my schnitzel was well portioned and their creamy cheese sauce was tangy without being overpowering.
The waiter had made a mistake with one of the kid's orders early on (ordering rib pizza instead of ribs), but the issue was sorted out speedily, with the manager coming over to apologise and see what else could be done.
All-in-all, a great dining experience, looking forward to Round 2.
Wow, such a great place. Whether you're dining in or taking out, their meals are epic. Great flavour, good portions, I would recommend this place to everyone. We eat at La Nouva twice a week on average and have consistently enjoyed the food and our visits there. The pizza in particular is by far the best in the area- thin, tasty bases with generous toppings.
Awesome italian food! We've only ordered take aways from this restaurant but the pizza is always filled with topings and very tasteful! We even had our food delivered by the owner!

What a pleasant evening. Stumbled across this restaurant and decided to give it ago. We had pizza which isn't very exciting but it was delicious! Possibly the best in joburg! Staff very attentive and felt as if I had been here before because they were just so amazingly friendly and welcoming. Definitely be back and next time with friends so they too can experience La Nouva.... Big thumbs up!

The managers are brilliant and working hard to turn around what was quite a dingy restaurant before.
The pizza's are brilliant, best in Johannesburg and we had a pizza and wine evening there last Tuesday and everyone agreed. I had the al capone - highly recommended but also the La Nouva Pizza with Pesto and Haloumi is delicious!
The best though is the Rib eye steak I had this past week for dinner, only R105 exceptional value and comes with veg and your choice of starch :)
They also have a good wine list and happy they have henieken on tap

I think you'd be hard pressed to find someone in Fourways who isn't a fan of good value Italian fare in a family style restaurant, and that special something, Lanouva has in spades. A loyal and happy patronage keeps a place alive and this restaurant has that too. Whether you're booking for a celebration or just want to enjoy a cup of coffee while you work, the ambience lends itself to both. Generously portioned food is the order of every day here and you will definitely come back for your favourites off the menu. Service is unobtrusive and friendly, come often enough and there will be an almost wordless exchange as all your needs are cared for. And in this time and place of constant changes, its wonderful to know that Lanouva will always be there. I sincerely hope it stays that way.

I called and I had bad signal so the call ended. The manager phoned me on his personal phone within 30 seconds. He took our order and the food arrived very soon. The food was amazing and definitely worth the money. Very well sized portions.
The food is always good and so is the service. The owners seem very well involved and service is always quick. My personal favourites are: Alfredo pasta, all of the pizza and the chicken schnitzel. Definitely worth visiting. There are also specials almost everyday of the week.

One of the Fourways Gardens gems. Run with am attention to detail attitude. Decor is cheerful with a good vibe. Food is always really good. Weekday pizza special is great value.
All around amazing. They use quality ingredients and make wonderful food. Usually food like this is expensive, but they have amazing specials and prices.
It's difficult to choose what to eat with so many tasty things on the menu.

Pizza's and pastas arw excellent flavourful and the staff is friendly have . Nice winelist and keeping the wines stored at the "room temperature" standard for both white and red aa they have Fridges for both white and red wines... Give them a try
