Third visit to the restaurant and the experience just gets better. We ordered the Hara bhara kebabs and paneer tikka for starters and chana masala and paneer masala for the main course. The food is absolutely authentic. Our server Fortune was helpful and owners Raj and Neelam were super friendly.
I come to Namak mostly on Saturdays for the Indian food cuisine buffet because it's an opportunity to taste a lot of different dishes at once at R140, which is a great deal. The buffet menu changes each week, I really recommend it. Drink wise, I really recommend a mango Lasso.

Raj is an absolute gem, we had our daughters engagement party at Namak and let me say it was an experience we will never forget, the food from the starters to the mains was exceptional, thank you to Raj and his team for an unforgettable night.
Super helpful staff, when I collected my order they forgot my starter. However, they we’re kind enough to have it delivered to my place after I phoned later that afternoon. Food was also delicious.
If you are looking for a proper English curry full of flavour, this is the place. Proper peshwari naan and super reasonable spice levels. Delicious

Wonderfully good cooking. Delicious! Very courteous and friendly service. Easy, simple atmosphere. A place to return to regularly. Highly recommended for lovers of authentic Indian cuisine.

Ordered Fish Madras via Mr Delivery and can truly say this kingklip curry is the best I have ever had!! Amazing attention to detail with the ingredients and a generous helping of fish. You have a customer for life..

The staff are just so attentive and kind and no effort is spared to make fresh and excellent food for both meat eaters and vegetarians.
Good company, food was fine, but not out of this world, service on the slow side, atmosphere, maybe cos a rugby match on the go, helped create carnival mode with Boks winning. Namak was tasteful.
My kids and I went to Nanak Craighall for their Mother's Day buffet. Good selection of vegetarian starters, but lacked vegetarian main with there being only 1 option. However, the food and the service was great.
