Review Richmond Studio Cafe - Johannesburg

A delightful café in Central Johannesburg. A frequent coffee stop for cyclists and runners. They have someone outside guarding the bikes, so you can sit and have coffee with peace of mind! Really good coffee. We had the toasted banana bread - it was really light and airy, really delicious. A very relaxed atmosphere and beautiful decor. The service was impeccable. I'll definitely be back for another coffee and to try other menu items - they seem to have good pizzas and wide range of beers.

We had a private event at the cafe and it was a good time. The pizzas were great, different flavors and we had a lot to drink. The staff were quiet nice, the environment is so beautiful and neat. I had a good time in all.

Decent small cafe. Cheerful ambience. Menu is comprehensive but not complicated. I had a cappuccino which was nice and strong. The spicy chick pea on bread was soggy and with too much sauce and spice which makes the bread soggy. Avoidable. Service is nice. Neighbourhood demands you remain alert.overall nice place.

Absolutely amazing space. Incredible pizzas - all round, all flavours. Great wine selection too. I haven't been for karaoke but definitely going to make a plan. Love the aesthetic and vibe too and the staff are fantastic. Great service.

They have generators, so you don't have to worry about load shedding. This place is chilled and vibes place. The staff is fantastic. They usually broadcast sports, so if you want to watch to match while giving to good music, this is a a place for you. They also have Karaoke and Quiz night. I usually come here to work.

Very nice restaurant, good portions, clean and the service is quick & friendly. Coffee is great except for the one cup that was not so great so I’ll have to come here a few more times to check consistency in their coffee. It’s a great place to do your work, have a meeting or just to unwind. The establishment is fully licensed so it’s a good place to sit and read a book while having a beer. The toilets are also clean and fresh smelling. Would I come back here again? No doubt.

A truly remarkable hence delightful experience, located within close proximity to the 'Bioanalytical Research Corporation', boasting the most delectable cuisine...to an eclectic choice of Classic, Brit-pop, and Alternative Rock-inspired tracks (after my own heart, impressed beyond description). Of reference to the cuisine, the 'Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli was simply to die for, accompanied by my choice of green tea. In conclusion, a most enjoyable hence memorable experience no doubt...

Ridiculously great pizza, ice cold beer on tap and amazing ambience! Very cool menu full of awesome treats. This is the place.

This place is awesome, great service and the decor is unique. Feel like you are part of a photo studio, lots of things to look at. Ordered an omlette, was good, presentation as simle as a omlette could be, but still good. The coffee was average. Would reccommend when you are in the area. Or definitely a unique place to go and visit.

The look and feel of the cafe is absolutely out the ordinary and unique. The food is also good and it’s a great place to meet interesting individuals. One of my favorite places in Jo’burg. ❤️
