The food is always exceptional, the service is top class and it's very affordable for a fantastic around experience. My new favorite place in Monte Casino by far, I would recommend it to anyone ten times out of ten.
Absolutely love this place. We arrived without a reservation but the hostess still managed to find us a table on the upstairs terrace. Our friendly waitress promptly arrived and took our orders, and even though it took a little longer than usual for the food to arrive, it was well worth the wait. The food was really delicious and the portion sizes was fantastic. Great vibe and atmosphere. Would definitely return soon!

Very nice food. we had a boneless wings to share and they were very accommodating as they made half the wings in a different sauce so we could share it very nicely. Furthermore, the chicken and beef burgers were also very nice. The service was prompt. I also liked the fact that they have specials like Eat As Much As you can Wings on Tuesdays and Half price cocktails on Thursday
This was our first visit here. The place was awesome!! Our server, Ray, was helpful and super friendly. The food was delicious. We loved the Jack Daniels cocktails. We had wings and sliders. We will be coming back!! Atmosphere is awesome. Decor suits the theme of the place.
Came here on a Tuesday, during their Bottomless Wings run. It was vibing and busy - loads of good lookers. Reservation was made prior for 3, which they had set up for - but a spontaneous 4th person joined and had to move tables, which they accomodated for. The waitress was fun, chatty and pretty. It seems thats the MO for being a waitress there - eye candies everywhere.
The wings were great, 5 basting options, can be crumbed or not, bones or deboned (did NOT like the deboned - they weren't wings, instead theyre tough breasts - not recommended).
Finished off with a Psychopath shot (was there for a birthday), greatly recommended by the waitress.
All in all, enjoyed the visit thoroughly - left incredibly stuffed and satisfied.

13.02.2019 We stopped here for dinner before attending a show at the theatre. I didn't realise all the seating is upstairs and has a nice view of the casino floor, the lights look very pretty from above.
We ordered drinks, my usual Cosmopolitan and my sister had a Tequila Cocktail. All i can say is DAMN they made a good Cosmo. 😋
To eat I had to try their Budweiser battered Tower of Onion Rings with a spicy dipping sauce, along with Ribs and Hand cut fries. My sis had the Popcorn shrimp (hand breaded chilli and herb shrimp) with Kung Pao Sauce and Boneless Wings with Hot Sauce. The menu is more for meat eaters, so i wasn't complaining.
My Ribs were juicy, tender and full of flavour and so were the fries. I enjoyed the spices they added to it. My onion rings were a let down, after the first one they were rather doughy and not completely cooked through, which i mentioned to our waitress when she came to check up on us as she noticed I hardly touched them.
My sister's shrimp was similar, although not bad it was also rather doughy but at least cooked, and she enjoyed her wings.
When our waitress returned again to the table, she said that she had removed the item off our bill, which was a really kind gesture as i wasn't expecting that. So thank you to Norma and Amanda for absolutely EXCELLENT service it is highly appreciated, we will definitely return.
They also have a quiz night, which should also be good fun to partake in with a bunch of friends. Not sure if it's every Wednesday, you can always check directly with them.

This place is amazing, the food was mind blowing and the portions were super generous. We had amazing service. Our waitress was fast and attentive. There wings with kung-pao sauce is a MUST.
A hidden gem in Johannesburg. The menu is sleek, powerful and packs a punch. Definitely try the authentic wings sauce, and the prawn pops. Great setting, easy seating, ample napkins which is always a plus.

For starters we had popcorn shrimp and the atomic poppers. For the mains/shared between us we had the sliders, nachos(which was absolutely massive) and the wings. Enjoyed all the food and service was good as well. Very attentive waitress. Overall a very good experience.
Whenever we where at Monte, we've always walked passed Texan Wing Bar, but never actually gave it a try, until this evening.
Hubby & I decided to have try it out.
The Food was excellent! Monday night Special...1kg Ribs for R199 and certain draft beers were R30. The wings were absolutely amazing 🤩 The service was good in the beginning, then our Waitress kept forgetting about our orders.
We will definitely be back very soon!
This was our first time at Texan Wing Bar and it was definitely worth it. Even though the place was busy, we didn't have to wait for a table and the drinks and food arrived quickly. The service was quick and the waitress was friendly. The steak was cooked to perfection and the burgers were excellent. We will definitely be back.

Been here a number of times and it’s always great. We went on Tuesday night for the bottomless wings and it didn’t disappoint however the queue was LONG… just over an hour. That being said, the wings were great as were the cocktails! Highly recommend a visit!

I personally loved having the option to get boneless (off the bone) wings - which is essentially a chicken nugget. If you're like me and don't like digging out food from under your nails then this is perfect!
Thus far, my favourite flavour would be medium (creamy and not too hot).
Their cocktails are also great and reasonably priced.
They also have friendly staff which is always great!
Definitely make the effort to book beforehand as they can get busy.

If there isn’t anyone downstairs at the entrance, it will be very confusing to make your way or feel like there is no service at all. At the best of times, when walking up, it can be difficult to get a hold of someone to get seated, when they are busy. However, if they are not busy, I suppose you can discard the above, but I have experienced both sides.
Certain waitress don’t always provide sufficient attention to the table and you can be left wandering without serviettes or cutlery when having ordered wings. But the worst was they ran out of stock on the wet clothes.
Anyway, besides that, the wings at this place as seriously out of this world. They are probably by far the absolute best wings I’ve had in a very very long time. The flavors are good and tasty. Unlike other places, at least the wings here have good chunk of meat on it.
The inside area isn’t as great as the outside dining area, as the outside you just feel more free and less cramped up with a whole lot less people running past you.
I’ve only had their wings and onion rings, and I think that’s what they are famous for and what I’ll be sticking to you!
