It's a smallish restaurant - been there since 2006. Over the weekend I've scanned their online menu ('cause that's what I do), so I had a good idea what to order. We knew there were going to be leftovers - but since it was our 1st visit to this restaurant, I wanted to try a few things.

Bought chicken soup (delicious), samoosas are brilliant in taste and size. The bunny is really good. When I visit Johannesburg again I will definately buy my food at the Curry Palace again. I forgot to mention value for money.

Don't let the tired decor fool you. This is seriously good food and great value for the price. Our second time here and we had samosas, paneer masala, and garlic naan. Tried the Chicken Makhnie, Chicken Curry and a Garlic Naan last night. Ordered them hot and they were indeed hot. Would not recommend the hot, if Nandos hot is your limit, this is slightly hotter and would suggest the medium rather.
