Wynburg is not the same setup as the pictures on their website, but their cappuccinos was great.

My favourite coffee spot in Parkhurst!!!!

Great spot. Good coffee. Well priced. Varied breakfast options. Will be back for sure

Nice little place with decent cups of coffee that not only taste good, but are also strong. The French toast was amazing, I was quite hungry so the portion was a tad bit small and before I knew it, it was finished. My husband had eggs benedict which was slightly disappointing as the eggs were not soft, but medium. Tasty food non the less!

Lovely breakfast but not the best.
GREAT COFFEE and super service. TASTY treats.
Lovely setting for a business meeting or even
Brunch with friends.

Very nice little restaurant in Parkhurst!

The coffee is great as well as the service. They have a very special menu with interesting recipes, but extremely overpriced!

R50 for 2 eggs and toast... WHAT?!

But I guess that’s what you’re gonna pay when you’re in Parkhurst.
Brenda Caplen
I just love the little courtyard outside and the simple yet well thought out menu. Staff are super friendly and even though service sometimes is a little slower than one wants, it gives you extra time relax under the trees. Best coffee in The Parks as well!

This little coffee shop/cafe situated has been on my list for ages so I was excited, to say the least. Being a Sunday it was busy and we had to wait a bit for a table, once seated the service was a little slow but our coffees were great. I can recommend the Affogato, its perfect for a hot day. Will be back soon to try the food.

This tiny coffee shop serves a great cup of coffee while you are on the go.

The service can be a little slow if you sit down to enjoy your drink but overall it's a peaceful place to have a meeting or gather your thoughts over ones laptop on a summers day.

Fantastic coffee. Staff are friendly and helpful. Charming and comfy outside seating. I do ask PLEASE please consider opening at 6.30 so I can make you my daily stop on the way to work!!!!!

Amazing early morning coffee. The coffee shop is dog friendly. I had no problem with the lovely dogs but my +1 did not enjoy it. Not my first time I had coffee here and won't be my last time. Intamite and cosy

Good coffee. There is NO service. I always enjoy the avo on toast but service seems to really get worse and worse. With so few places with good coffee, you just need to jack up your service.

Relaxed and chilled quaint restaurant with fab coffee and yummy breakfasts and snacks - the crumpets are delicious! Attentive service with a smile...enjoy whilst watching the Parkhurst life pass you by. Another Gem in this vibrant part of Johannesburg.

A delightful, quaint little shop, complete with pink roses and intimate loveliness. The perfect place to connect with a loved one. The coffee is well balanced and very enjoyable. The shop has light meals, darling home-made breakfasts, sandwiches and sweet treats. Their freshly squeezed orange juice is delicious, and their hot chocolate is one of the best I have ever tasted. The team are lovely, warm and you'll feel right at home. A definite must visit.

Friendly and quick service, incredible coffee, beautiful latte art to top it off.

Also take a look at their awesome retrograde espresso machine.

Keen to come back.

👌

Really enjoyed my experience here. Flat white is definitely worth the visit. Service was a bit slow, but they were super busy and there wasn't any open tables. Good coffee is good coffee and will go back for sure.

I came here on a rainy day, and the bright pink decor of the cafe was very comforting.

The flat white I ordered was served at the right temperature with a decent crema. The wet microfoam consistency was perfect and had a good mouthfeel. The flavour was full-bodied and fruity.

It's kind of hidden on the 4th Ave strip because of how small it is, but it add a lot to it for sure

My boyfriend and I love coffee but were a tad skeptical to try this place out since it looked a little too colorful compared to other coffee shops. However, we decided to give them a try a few weeks back and now we are addicted. I now understand why people rave about them! Their coffees are fantastic! Their cappuccinos are really tasty and so is their ice coffees. The baristas know what they are doing and they are really friendly. One recommendation that I have for anyone who goes there is to try their soft serve ice cream! Words honestly cannot describe how amazing that is!

Went there on a 1st date. I had to ask for service:
1 menus
2 drinks
3 2nd round of drinks
4 the bill...

Not likely to go back and how sad!

2nd October just had take away carrot cake from there for R45 and it was so disappointing it didn't even taste like carrot or have one but. Won't ever go back there for that.

really nice coffee and great hot chocolate. haven't had anything else but definitely recommend this place if your looking for good coffee in an easy environment, while you are in the area.
Wayne Segers
Waited more than 30min for 1 toasted sandwich and when I enquired about it I was told it was packed. I pointed out that I placed my order long before it "became packed" and received a shrug instead.

This little gem has become one of those 4th Ave institutions.
Always popular especially on weekends.
Never eaten but do love the quality of their flat whites.. Nice medium roast that's well extracted and great foam. Giving the that elusive mouth feel to coffee ratio that one expects from a flat white.
Well worth the stop.
Shmuel Montrose
Nice set up, had a machiato and a small double shot cuppa/cortado both of it tasted slightly over roasted giving that slight burnt taste however it was. A nice chilled place fresh open and has a nice vibe to it.... Barista was cool thanks guys!!!!!!
Paul Scott
Really poor experience. They had run out of croissants, my breakfast partner's dish arrived missing two ingredients my dish was cold. We had three different waiter's all of whom ignored us. A chaotically run amateur eatery. Won't be back - give it a skip.

If you need your daily dose of caffeine, this quaint little coffee shop in Parkhurst is right up your alley. Absolutely delicious coffee and they open early, so it's a double bonus!

I've walked past this delightful little coffee bar on countless occasions and have been wanting to try it out for so long so I decided to pop in for a quick coffee after work. Situated right in the heart of Parkhurst along the hustle and bustle of 4th Avenue, this is the perfect place to grab your daily dose of caffeine.

I was keen to try out their crumpets or French toast but was super sad to find out that their kitchen closes at 4pm - all the more reason to go back! I decided to order a cappuccino and a slice of cheesecake. The coffee was really good and had great flavour. Only later, did I find out that they actually have their own coffee roastery in Blairgowrie. The cheesecake was also really light and delicious.

Cynthia and Mali, who are the two staff members were both friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back!

Double up on your caffeine dose for the day at this charming little coffee bar and roasters, situated on the famous Parkhurst strip. Try their expertly roasted and perfectly made espresso based drinks, and buy some beans to take home. The baristas are super friendly, and the quaint seating area outside is a great spot for weekend people watching.
ReVino
A delightful coffee shop with a great menu that has an interesting twist on all our classic favorites all thanks I believe to their new chef.

Sit outside between the trees and see the sun twinkling around you whilst enjoying the excellent service and delicious food.

I had the rooibos cappuccino which was a revelation accompanied by...a cheese & chicken & mayo sandwich which it seemed had the equivalent of a whole chicken breast.
My friends cheese and tomato sandwich was done with a piquant relish that just enhanced the taste.

The place is really lovely on the 4th avenue street under the trees. The coffee is really good but unfortunately the service is absolutely shocking! The staff was not friendly at all and the drinks and food took a really long time to arrive! They even forgot about our coffees when we ordered another round. I had the fruit salad which was very nice and fresh, but the serving was quite tiny. My hubby wanted the 'breakfast in a bowl' but they didn't have stock (frown) and opted for the french toast stack. This was quite good and tasty. But honestly, due to the terrible service, I won't be back.

The coffee is decent for Johannesburg. They have soya milk available which is great, and more importantly they know how to use it well for a nice soya latte. Barista's are good, it's a nice stop-and-go spot on the Parkhurst strip, but not amazing coffee when compared to international standards.
CaraLee
The most delicious coffee in Joburg, and great value for money too. They offer all day breakfast which is delicious. Friendly, helpful staff. A lovely little place to sit outside under the trees and watch the world go by on a Saturday morning. Highly recommended.

I love this little spot and always stop there after my weekend run for my treat which is their amazing coffee!!! I'm not sure why there are people who think the coffee is average as I have become a coffee snob and now choose 4th avenue coffee over any other! Thanks guys for the awesome service and DELISH coffee!!!! 😁☕️

Nestled in the middle of 4th Avenue is a quaint little coffee bar. It's the kind of spot to stop at before a stroll around the Parkhurst streets. The staff are friendly and the setting is lovely. The coffee is pretty good, but probably not the best in the area, still it's a worth while spot to remember for a convenient cup of joe.
Fareed
Cute spot. I've only had the cappuccino and it was average. The coffee has no character so it ended up being just another cuppa. I have yet to try the baked good.
TheVisualFox
This a wonderful coffee roaster on 4th street. You can sit order a coffee, tea or snack and sit on the side walk while at watching the world go buy. It's a perfect stop for a quick cuppa. If you like what you drink you even order the coffee beans to go. Home made has gotten so much better.
Gareth Bladon
Simple, straight-forward, swing-past coffee spot that works.

Great quality coffee and staff who know what they're doing. It's the kind of place where you grab a cup of java as you rush past. If you'd prefer you can sit down pavement-cafe style and chill. Dog friendly as you'd expect in the trendy style of Parkhurst.

I see they've got pastries, cakes and a bit more but can't comment as I haven't eaten there.

Ask about buying beans to take home.
Bridget
The ultimate sidewalk coffee spot.. I think this is my boyfriends favourite coffee place in Joburg. Great for a Sunday coffee, a read of the newspaper and watch the world go by. We often come here after having eaten elsewhere in Parkhurst - finishing off the meal with a walk to 4th Avenue Coffee Roasters and a guarantee of good coffee...
Tamzin
I'm so glad this little gem finally got some decent management in there. This has really upped their service game! Their coffee is SO good! Food is full of flavor. Nice for taking in some sunshine and general Parkhurst atmosphere. Bonus - Pet friendly! Winner!!!
Georgie Creaven
Love this spot! Delicious breakfasts (try the breakfast in a bowl) and sweet treats to die for! Oh, and they have a soft serve machine... One of the best coffee spots in Jozi ☕️
Kelly Emerton
What an amazing way to start the weekend!

Great coffee? Check!
Decadent hot chocolate? Double check!!
Vanilla and cinnamon French toast?
Crumpets with any toppings you could dream of?
Yes! Yes! Yes!

I love this little cafe, which is renowned for its amazing coffee, but honestly everything is delicious. If you're trying to be healthy they make amazing Jungle Oats and health breakfasts too.
Josh Peter Gedye
Much better than its rating suggests! The best coffee spot I have found in jozi (and this coming from a self proclaimed coffee snob) if you are looking for more than an awesome spot on 4th avenue to watch the passing parade and drink a great cup o' joe then go somewhere else. If those two things sound great to you, plan your visit now!

This unassuming glass hut on 4th ave serves the best coffee on the strip. Great to sit at an outside table on a summer morning and enjoy a perfectly made cappuccino. They are roasters too and I bet that they use only the finest imported beans.
Stefania Magni
My favourite place to have breakfast.. The menu is simple but always delicious! The coffee is by far the BEST in Johannesburg... The service can be a bit more on the role.. but if you in no rush and enjoying the company of who you sitting with... then don't complain. I suggest a double shot cappuccino... short! Only way to drink coffee!
Travis
Unfortunately, these guys have been unable to replace my favourite coffee choice. That being said, there coffee is made really well! The beans are full of flavour and the coffee is drawn to perfection.
Michelle Lange
My favorite coffee spot. Plus the ice cream is amazing on a hot day. Coffee is fantastic. Perfect spot to stop after your meal on a weekend.
Ana
Best coffee in Joburg at the moment and a great little spot in a sunny day. Have also enjoyed the food I've had here. Really, a little gem.
Location is perfect and great for those who enjoy people watching and taking in the hustle bustle of Parkhurst. I could sit for hours under the trees drinking coffee. The coffee is great and the brownies are even better! - rich, delicious and a chocolate lovers heaven. Lots of sweet goodies on offer. Very accessible and great for a quick coffee during your morning/weekend stroll down 4th Avenue.

Great breakfast. I like the sidewalk vibe but not so great when the weather is bad...
Mabelami
If you're walking past and you happen to see an open table or seat, grab it and enjoy the experience! Their breakfasts are so good, their coffee AMAZING and it is such a quaint little place that you can't help but enjoy the experience.... It's a good place for people watching ;)

Also found the coffee bitter, not sure of extraction and robusta content

When this place opened, I loved their coffee, food and welcomed a quality roastery in the neighbourhood. I recently bought a pack of beans for home use and it was not drinkable, bitter, burnt to the extent that there was no coffee aroma left. I debated whether to take it back and was persuaded by a friend to do so. The reaction I received was so disappointing, that I left the full bag of beans with them and left. I believe in giving feedback, good and bad, and do so politely. This was not appreciated at this establishment and I will not be returning.
