Totally blown away... absolutely beautiful, you can feel the love that goes into this place from the super friendly, super efficient waiter Life, to the absolutely hilarious Chef Jermaine who kept coming to check on us. We have been there a few times when they have been packed and the owner always makes a plan to accommodate us! All the staff members are super friendly and try their utmost best to give each client excellent service! The food is amazing, not to mention the delicious dessert! The gardens are beautiful and the whole setting is relaxing!

The venue is amazing especially for naturally loving person. It’s as if you are not in Joburg any more. The food was not as great as the venue though. I had the Hack Stack because of the slightly veggie ingredients there.
My husband loved the place and plans to bring his business clients here.
Note to the owner is empower his staff. We asked for extra candy for my daughter and our waitress said she has to ask the manager for that... I mean it’s just candy. And when I asked for my earl Grey tea to be heated, she said they don’t have a microwave and then I said she can use the milk steam, again she had to get permission from the manager since she said it was not allowed!!

Charming and whimsical. Beautifully decorated, it’s as if you’re in a secret garden. Waiters are really attentive, great service. Food is hearty, there’s a nice selection. We missed the breakfast cut off, but our lunch was great. Had a lamb pita, and chicken burger. The chicken was a bit bland for my liking, but a lil bit of hot sauce did the trick. The lamb was beautifully done, just right and the sauce accompanied it perfectly. Overall if you find yourself in the area like we did, do give it a go!
One of my favourite coffee shops in a beautiful garden setting. Friendly staff and delicious fresh food. Our table of four all enjoyed our meal which you could see had been prepared with love.

Went here for Sunday lunch. My husband and I went to Thornbirds when we were scouting wedding venues. Not realizing that this restaurant was tucked inside. What an amazing restaurant! Had a mint, lemon and mango crusher that was lovely! Wine and cream mussels were the special and they were really good. My husband tried peri peri calamari and I had a slow cooked lamb pita! Both really great! Lovely place for kids and also pet friendly.
Lovely tea garden tucked away in the south of Jhb . We made an unexpected stop on a cold winters day and we were pleasantly surprised. The seat by the fire side was just what we needed . I was impressed with the alcohol selection and the fact that it is pet friendly. Definitely a place I will visit with family and friends .
Wow . So then the first time I came across this restaurant I was amazed at how Iv lived not so far away from it and never knew of its existence. Well anyways I went to check it out Saturday OMG for a place that is all about nature, regarding the current season its gorgeous I could only imagine in summer/spring. This place is well taken care of ,they definitely pay attention to the small deets. Then came the menu, was rather amazed at how broad it was and the pricing was the cherry on top , super duper reasonable 🙌🏾. Should definitely try out the beef curry with the roti MOUTH WATERING😋. To top it all our waiter gave us a tour of the place Wow . Overall great service , definitely a hidden gem 😍

I was so impressed with the food and service. A lovely little restaurant nestled between beautiful flowers, plants and trees. I also love that it's pet friendly & the little pooch menu is the cutest thing ever :)
Wow! What a lovely setting and garden. I have been to Miss Grace a few times and never have I had a bad experience. Rest assure that you will most likely order a meal that will be excellent. Summer afternoons is amazing at Miss Grace but winter is just as pleasing in the indoor section - cozy.
Miss Grace is an absolute firm favorite and we have had many visits. We are always greeted by friendly faces and the family management team always feel like you are joining them for a leisurely lunch.
We have managed to work our way through most of the menu but a firm favorite is always the chicken curry, so much so that it often becomes a preferred take out option. Other amazing options are the Beef Madras Curry, Trinchado and Burger are great options to name but a few. The homemade desserts are also the things heaven are made of. The C4 Jar offers a decadent chocolate & caramel treat and traditional milk tart.
If you are looking for the perfect place to spend hours enjoying friends and family's company with amazing food and attentive service, then Miss Grace is the best choice 😉😉😊😊
A hidde gem that has serene setting. Decor is quaint and beautiful adding to the tranquil setting. The food is delicious and staff are friendly. One of my favourite Sunday hang outs.
Miss Grace is perfect in every way! Delicious food, fantastic service and an incomparable garden setting. I had the peri peri calamari and skinny fries and my hubby enjoyed the lamb pita. Both were delicious and faultless. We shared the milk tart pudding for dessert and it was equally amazing. Miss Grace is one of those places you could easily while away an afternoon at and wish it never ended. Love that there's also a comprehensive drinks menu and that it's pooch friendly.
I love how simplicity is so beautiful. This hidden treasure calls for a weekend day time treat. The beautiful garden filled with flowerets and antiques was just the best. The menu is straightforward but delightful 🙋🏻
Great Sunday lunch venue. Food is good, great setting and atmosphere. Country style makes for a relaxed afternoon. Nice varied menu and ice cold beers.

This restaurant is located within the Thornbirds Conference centre and wedding venue and is situated in a beautiful garden setting. Had a lovely lunch of fish and chips. Their dessert of vanilla icecream with berry coulis and meringue was light and perfect for the warm weather
Had brunch at Miss Grace today. My breakfast was amazing. I had the rosti stack breakfast. Eggs were poached to perfection, rosti was perfectly cooked, not oily. Loved what they did with the mushrooms which was crispy and flavoursome. Let's say every part of the breakfast worked. Love the decor, the South need more places like this. Only fault was our food came separately and I was half way through my breakfast before my mom's food arrived. Waiter was very nervous and not well trained. Brought coffee instead of tea, just gave me my food initially without explaining why there was a delay with the other meal. A more seasoned waitress then sorted it all out. I would still go back and I would rate higher if the waiter hadn't messed up the experience. A must try, good food, great ambiance.
Great little Gem in the south with such a homely feel from the decor to the food. The coffee is fantastic and service is never lacking a friendly smile :-) will be back for more.

I could happily spend all day sitting outside in the sun at the Miss Grace Country Food House. It is so quiet and peaceful and there is definitely something therapeutic about the gardens and the roses that surround you while you eat.
I started with a milkshake (cookies and cream) which was creamy and full of crunchy bits of biscuit. Jürgen and I both ordered burgers which were thick and succulent although I did find the tomato/pepper relish on mine was extremely acidic but not enough that I didn't continue to stuff my face with it. The thin fries that came with our meals were also mind blowing and crunchy.
Our waiter come off as a bit unfriendly and not very well trained. He didn't come back to the table very often and we subsequently had to order with another waiter a few times.
Miss Grace Country Food House is really such a beautiful venue and when you read the menu you will see their genuine love for all animals that makes it feel like another home for animal lovers. We will definitely be back.

We had the steak roll and the eggs Benedict.. One of the few places that ACTUALLY poaches the eggs in water!
By far one of Joburg's best kept secrets. This little gem is not only in a beautiful setting, but is pet friendly and the food is something to write home about. Fresh flowers, fresh air in a beautiful outdoor setting as well as chirping birds in the background. The indoor area is gorgeous as well. Do try the chicken curry and lamb pita. Also love the weekend specials!

We celebrated Joan's 80th birthday here. The setting is quite lovely - outside, lots of flowers and greenery. Kiddies are well catered for with a lovely play area in the garden. The food and service got two thumbs up all round. Good for family get togetherness 😊
Lovely restaurant set amongst beautiful trees. The food was very tasty and what a privalage to enjoy this watching the finches in the trees.

This place is a magical wonderland.. Seriously it's absolutely beautiful. I loved the gardens and the decor. The staff are friendly, the chef came out to greet all the tables. The menu has a wide variety and was Devine! Delicious and beautifully presented. We were there for breakfast and are going back for Greek evening & Christmas lunch. I am crazy in love with this hidden gem!
Miss Grace is a real little treasure in the 'middle of the country'. It sure feels like you out of the city when you sitting outside under the bog beautiful trees, and it's fabulous as it's only a 15 minute drive from home. Last time we went to Miss Grace we sat inside at one of the big dining tables, it was just lovely.
The service is fabulous and the owners are always there interacting with customers. It is a family run business, and it sure feels like it when you there.
The food is very good! And the prices are pretty good for the quality of food!
And I must mention that the decorating is absolutely stunning, so romantic and beautiful!
Do yourself a favor, pay Miss Grace a visit, you will not be sorry!
