Review Perron - Johannesburg

Nonhlanhla Mkwanazi
This place is amazing! We came here for our mini year end dinner with colleagues. The vibe is great. Bigger functions had cool Mexican hats which really created a nice mood. The drinks were lovely and wait staff very eager and helpful. It was lovely being here as the sun went down and getting to enjoy a beautiful cloudy joburg sunset. Of course the highlight of the evening was the food. I ordered the tacos and oh boy. It's nothing like you would expect. The meal was so rich in spices and flavours that it was hard to do anything but eat it (that says a lot in our snap happy generation). Would definitely come back.

Every bite was just fabulous, I especially loved the mushroom quesadilla. The churros I had for dessert was a tad bit doughy for my liking but still tasty. Perron will certainly become a favourite spot for my friends and I. The tapas menu is great for sharing and their drinks are reasonably priced. My only true gripe is that the menu is incomplete. The soft drinks and coffees aren't there at all. I had a lovely latte with my dessert but I didn't know the price or what other coffee/tea option were available.

I had the best Mexican food in my life here. It's a small but tasteful place to eat. I would like more drinks options though. The staff were friendly. Both of my friends didn't like the steak they ordered so that's possibly something to keep in mind if you plan on ordering food other than Mexican food. The churros were tasty.

Good food and quirky Mexican decor. This bustling spot in Illovo serves an array of small plates and main courses. Their small plates consisting of fabulous tacos, quesidillas and an assortment of Mexican dishes are all spicy and flavoursome. My favourite is still the arancini, I could go there just for that dessert.
Maxine Gunzenhauser
Perron is cosy & gives you a unique Mexican experience, with a high-quality menu. The traditional mexican dishes are tasty and fresh, and they have a few dessert options like lime sorbet and dark chocolate torte.
david mcconnell
Great friendly service, tasty food, great cappuccinos, vibey spot, worth a visit
Biron Madisa
The food was nice, but the selection of drinks was very limited
Caitlin Gottschalk
Authentic Mexican cuisine. Big portions and cool vibe, but higher price range
Heinz Schnölzer
Really amazing food! Good service. We went in the middle of the week over lunch, but I can imagine it gets packed in the evenings. We shared some of their smaller meals (tacos and quesadillas) and what I really enjoyed about it was the way everything tasted so different. Usually most Mexican places all the meals taste the same. Will definitely be going back!

This place has a great and unique Vibe. The pictures on the wall and the hats that lie around available for guests to put on while they eat enhance the celebratory and colourful atmosphere of the restaurant. The food is also delicious! I would highly recommend trying several of the small plates to be able to sample more food. Some of the dishes also have their own unique South African twist to the Mexican cuisine.

Cool place. A little quiet on a Friday afternoon. Staff were very friendly & helpful! Enjoyed my drink! Food menu looked good, didn't have any food, & seems like a tequila lovers paradise ;-)
Sam Adams
Amazing margaritas and great food, excellent service, reasonable prices, great atmosphere.
Ahimsa
Good variety of Mexican options (could do with better vegan friendly options though), ingredients fresh, food well-prepared...just so disappointed that they did away with my favourite menu item spicy mushroom and potato tacos! Also didn't have the lovely fiery red habanero sauce I love. Cute decor and nice cocktail combos.

Felt like being at home. Service was exceptionally excellent and the food delicious beyond my pallets ability to comprehend. Vegetarians are hard to please but they got me good. Ate more than I intended. Did the simple things and selected a few different dishes to share each were delicious and flavorful. Compliments to the chef and staff for such a wonderful experience. NB Don't forget to order tequila shooters. #WhenInRome;)

The food is good. The margaritas need improvement. Not sure what happened there. When the place first opened the margaritas had the perfect lemon lime base. True to international margarita standards. Now it seems they rely too much on lime cordial. MEH!

This place has the best mexican food, very tasteful with the authentic spices and flavor! The atmosphere is amazing, and they have a very friendly staff especially the manager Alex who is amazingly kind! Favorite place in Johannesburg , definitely a must try.
Two Tasty Tummies
We absolutely love Mexican cuisine. Nice small street cafe with a rustic feel to it. Perfect for getting together and having a pitcher of frozen margarita's or just having a good old Carona. The food was fantastic. Packed with flavour and a portion size that is perfect for sharing. Our only disappointment was the Nachos. Or what they would call their deconstructed nachos. Don't fix what ain't broken. Perron gets Two Tasty Tummies' stamp of approval.
The Owner
I love the food and cocktails at Perron. My first time here, the waitress was pathetic. The prawns were very bland and my salad came an hour late after everyone at the table had finished their full meals ordered at the same. I repeat,...a salad. I loved the nachos and the ambiance sooo much I decided to give it another chance. I went another time with the intention of trying out the menu. I ordered different tapas. The food is simple and great here. The decor is not exciting. The service the second time around was very good. The place was a bit less busy for lunch. Definitely going back again.

Mexican food of great quality. And a good selection of tequila too. The chilli could have had more heat, but flavour wise excellent. Good friendly staff made for a great experience.

Very very upset!!! My boyfriend and I decided to try this place out on our date night and after getting through about half the food and complaining, because some of the dishes were soggy and oily and the fish tasted OFF we were offered free tequila to make us feel better???? No thank you! Then still expected to pay our full bill we complained again, after which the "manager" took things personally and told us we ate all the food and had to pay, and then refused to bring our half eaten plates back out as proof!!! He was extremely rude, childish and unprofessional, not willing to take a critic that food tasted off seriously? Instead trying to be cocky and disrespecting a female and telling us to never come back again. After paying the bill I am now at home with terrible stomach cramps and nausea!!!!! This restaurant has had more than one complaint about customers falling ill and the manger not taking these critics seriously in the moment is a scary situation as you guys are putting people at risk health wise. Perhaps you will only realize when you get shut down for too many cases of food poisoning.

Had such a bad experience at the restaurant on Saturday. We booked a table for about 20 people for my friends farewell and birthday lunch. When we booked they said we would have the set menu, which we said is fine. Although we advised them that there may be a couple of people who don't want the set menu, just a main meal. They said this was fine. Upon arriving at the restaurant we reiterated this to the waitress/hostess, again she said this was fine. Two people decided they just wanted a main, the rest had the set menu. We asked our waiter if this was fine and he said yes. We received our bill at the end to find they had still charged us the set menu for the two people who've hadn't had it. We queried with the waiter for him to then inform us that we still had to pay the set price even though they didn't have the set menu, just a main meal. We stated to him that he should have told us that because they would have had the additional food in the set menu if they had been told the had to stick to the set menu. The manager came over, he stated that the information was "right in front of my face" on the set menu. I explained to him all of the above information of prebooking and informing them beforehand and when we arrived and for a third time to the waiter. He said it was our fault because we should know. I couldn't understand why he was making such a deal about two people when we were a table of 20 odd. I said to him it was unprofessional and unacceptable to speak to us and treat us in this manner, at which point he stormed off and ignored us until we left. He didn't offer to rectify the situation, apologise or even give them the starter and dessert in a take away, even though we spent R6400!!!! This was my first visit to the restaurant and the food was great but I will never be going back there again purely for the experience with the manager!!!! : :-(

It was our first time at Perron Illovo Junction after glowing reviews from friends. It wasn't a bad experience, but it wasn't living up to its reputation. The food was average and we had to battle through our first cocktail that was extremely hot. The good part was the service, our waiter was very attentive and professional. I jokingly mentioned to him that our cocktails were nice, but intense. When we got ready to pay our bill the waiter came to our table and said he wanted to remove the cocktails, because they tasted it and it was not prepared the way it should be. The manager came by and offered us tequila coffee on the house for the error. It is amazing how much you can forgive when you receive good service. I'll definitely give them a second chance on the food.

I think I had one of the best meals of my life last night. The food was delicious and fresh, atmosphere great and the service was on point. Definitely a restaurant of top quality and an absolute great time. Thank you guys

I love the Perron restaurants!!! The decor is magical and the food and drinks menu is fantastic. The staff are always brilliant and I always have the best experiences at Perron. 💛😍
Diane Spellacy Rawlinson
The food was fantastic, we were a table of 15 and our waiter was incredible. The food and drinks just kept coming. Absolutely love this place
Rebecca Loake
Great vibe, tasty food, staff is great, clued up and friending. If you looking a chilled place to catch up with friends and have tequila or 2 this is place. Will definitely go back.

Just want to say a big thank-you to Perron in Hobart. Prior to our dinner I contacted them to enquire about their vegan dishes. Within a couple of hours Edward responded to me with a list of all their vegan options as well as suggestions on how to make a dish vegan, completely accommodating and non-judgemental. We've just got home from our dinner there and what an amazing night out, the food was deliciously tasty! Thanks Perron!
Homer Allison
This place was amazing. In Joburg from Texas and we are so greatful to have found Perron. It is common for us to eat Mexican 2 to 3 times a week and this has been a struggle while in SA. Well, the struggle is no more. This will be where we can get our Mexican fix. We all got a different dish and a couple of appetizers. EVERYTHING was a 10 out of 10!!

I have eaten at Perron many times, and each time I go there it gets better and better. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. Food is excellent with so many different options to choose from that we always land up ordering more than we can eat. What is really great are the many vegetarian options. It’s one of the few places that my girlfriend (vegetarian) and I (carnivore) can both have a lovely meal together. The atmosphere is perfect for an intimate date night, or a rowdy get together with all of your friends. Oh yes – don’t forget the chilli poppers and imported tequila – marvellous! One of the better places in JHB :)
PW Du Plessis
Absolute taste explosion of flavour, great atmosphere and decor. Service is on point.
Cathryn Ingram Attala
Great vibe and good food. Our waiter Dennis was amazing. We actually thought that he was the manager as he seemed to be running the entire restaurant while the other staff socialised and flirted with the guy who actually was the real manager.
Christina Herden
Hola muchachos y muchachas! I took my parents for Mother's Day last weekend and we had the abolute best time ever. The food was superb - beautifully spiced and tasty and the bloody marias and mojitos weren't shabby either. We took the advice and had a variety of starters and nibbles and mains and ended with the dulce de leche desert. If I could have had all of it again immediatly, I most certainly would have. I cannot wait to go back and chasing friends so we can do just that.
Yael Rosen
We went to the Illovo Perron this week for dinner with friends. Food was sensational! Our waitress was awesome and attentive too with great advise and tips on what to eat and drink. We had a great time we will definitely be back!
Zelia Soares
Delicious meal with great frozen margaritas. The fillet was the best I have ever eaten!
David Fassie Mavungu
I really enjoyed the food, however i was disappointed by the cocktails, the cocktail didn't have any alcohol spirits that is displayed on the menu.
Michelle Marillier
They don't know the difference between a medium fillet steak, and a well done fillet steak. And then I was up half the night with food poisoning. Won't be going there ever again!
Bronwyn Small
Fantastic food and drinks. Loved the tapas style options that gives you lots of variety in your meal. Great music and staff too.
Eva Bruce
Excellent Food! So many delicious flavours. Service was also excellent, thank you to Chelsea for taking care of our table so well! Highly recommend the steak strip Burrito and the Corn on the Cob.
Aisha Moolla
Perron has a fun and vibrant feel. It is cozy and the waiters are great. The food is seriously delicious and there are a variety of options to choose from!
Talia Santana
One of my favorite Mexican place in Joburg! Love the vibe and the food!
Ij
Delicious food. Great cocktails. Friendly service. Very nice atmosphere. Bit pricey. Looking forward to going back.
Frank_Cadillac
An awful experience, some of the worst food poisoning I’ve ever had. Definitely not somewhere I’d recommend (unless you enjoy being sick) really disappointing. Go to Melville! Much better in EVERY aspect.
Mase
We had a reservation for 18h00 and when we got there we were told their next reservation for our table us 20h00. Ruined my whole experience coz now there was a time limit on dining time. Food was bland too.
Robyn Louw
A very quant spot, loved the decor and vibe. The cocktail menu is substantial and the mojito a must! We chose a few tapas to share which were all flavorsome and fresh! The spicy chicken quesadillas were our favorite! Of course you have to end it off with churros (Mexican favorite of mine) - they were crispy and melted un my mouth. Delicious! Would love to go back with a bunch of friends, it’s a fun spot!
SamuelandJacinta Pather
Fabulous, tasty food at Perron Illovo. The popcorn chicken tacos were the best. We shared the lamb tacos as well as the steak. The blackened salmon was awesome, crispy on the outside and deliciously moist inside. Nachos were different but <br/>so tasty. Jalapeño poppers were tasty with a nice bite. Pork belly was succulent and so flavorful. Churros were divine. Overall a fantastic place to dine and share food.
Hungry Vegetarian
Love the food & love the margaritas! Casual chilled vibes. One of my favourite Mexican places. Great service with good vegetarian options. Highly recommended.
Michael Dowden
In my experience Mexican food usually all tastes the same... except here!!! For example they have a tuna taco, I don’t like tuna but this was fantastic will definitely go back again for more, jalapeños had a kick not so much that was uncomfortable, pulled port soft shell tacos well balanced, chicken quesadillas + classic narchos. Tastes across the 5 dishes we had where varied and very tasty. And the decor was great felt that I was back in down town Mexico City. <br/><br/>Bottom line if they can make some thing I don’t like (tuna) tasty then they are onto something good. Great service very responsive and the owner is they and really makes sure clients are valued and looked after. <br/><br/>Nb: parking is are is usually a mission so use the maned car park in open space on opposite side of road access of the right and the end of North Street.
Chiara Louis
When I don’t want to overindulge in a margarita jug and a large plate of nachos, love coming here for the popcorn chicken taco. Nice vibe, reasonably priced, and always good service.
Lisa Lumley
The first time I visited this branch of Perron I wasn’t sold, in my mind the portions were small and the prices were too high. I must admit that I have completely changed my opinion. Perron has quality Mexican food and the prices are comparable to other Mexican restaurants that have less of a variety and quality dishes.<br/><br/>We came here one Saturday night and the ambience was fun and vibey. Our waitress was very attentive and the service was fast. <br/><br/>We ordered the fish tacos, the spicy chicken quesadilla and the thompadre burrito. All of these dishes were delicious and the portion size was decent.<br/><br/>I have become a massive Perron fan and rate it as the best Mexican food franchise in Johannesburg. <br/>
Ashdesai5
A definite must visit restaurant. The corn is out of this world and their jalapeño poppers are some of the best around. Peron is one of our favourite Mexican places in Jhb.
Soumya Ranjan Pattanaik
Tried mexican food for the first time and Perron was the best choice . Tried a lot of things and loved everything so much . Cocktails were amazing . Would recommend to all .

I do love me some Mexican! I’ve been the Illovo restaurant three times now and I’ve enjoyed the service from the waiters, oh but can I mention my love/hate relationship with the Jalapeño & Coriander Margarita, if you’re into hot food and drink you simply must try it :)
Lefa Nkadimeng
My colleagues and I hosted some business associates from the UK and Denmark and this place was absolutely perfect! The ambience is reminiscent of a Mexican fiesta, lively music, spicy ,delicious food that encourages sharing and amazing drinks. Definitely worth a shot if you want to try some Mexican food.
Sam
My first two ventures at this restaurant did not go down well. Fast forward two years and I have visited 3 times in the space of a month. <br/><br/>Lunch time on weekends are quiet so it's advisable to go at night if it's a vibe you are after. Also note that the kitchen closes at 3.<br/><br/>Guacamole with nachos - greater starter to share. Big portion. Don't order if you are only two people. Guacamole lacked a little seasoning when I had it.<br/><br/>Corn starter- so yum, although difficult to eat. We weren't expecting corn on the cob but this was delicious.<br/><br/>Jalapeño Poppers- it's always a good time for jalepeno poppers, the ones here are great.<br/><br/>Fish tacos- crispy fish, plenty of filling, what's not to love?<br/><br/>Chicken quesadilla- love the spiciness of the chicken paired with the melted cheese.<br/><br/>Popcorn pollo taco- chicken taco is just as great as the fish taco <br/><br/>Lamb taco- only dish I didn't really enjoy. The lamb had no flavour. Difficult to eat this. Wouldn't try it again.<br/><br/>Churros - so delicious, pay the extra money and ask to have both the dulce de leche and the chocolate sauce. <br/><br/>I also love the bottled Perron hot sauce. <br/><br/>Food is delicious here, service can be a bit hit and miss, but do go for a great time!<br/>

Been here twice so far. Dinner can get a bit loud as it’s a small venue but lunch is just perfect. We ordered tapas to share both times. The tamale was a bit doughy with too little filling in my opinion. It’s not to my taste. My favourite was the lamb tacos - perfect spice level, amazingly tasty and decently sized. The nachos were also great - large portion perfect for sharing (we shared amongst 4 people) and not too cheesy. Their churros are yum and I could have had the chocolate sauce it comes with by itself. The menu has plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans.

Another rainy day in the office, so another UberEats order. <br/><br/>I ordered a Thompadre Burrito. It arrived warm and filled to the brim with fillings. A short but fat burrito full of yummy’ness. It was accompanied by a tub of steaming spicy chilli. A bit out of my league. The burrito was delicious, juicy & tender. A nice mix inside of deliciousness. <br/><br/>A good choice and definitely will order again.<br/><br/>Again, i couldn’t give the rating I wanted to because of Zomato’s new lousy rating system.
Supervundu
Giving it a high rating because it's the first Mexican spot I've found in Joburg where the food tastes fresh, the guacamole isn't out of a bag and not everything is smothered in cheese.<br/><br/>The empanadas and tamales were right up there - be "daring" and try a tamale, they're as authentic as you will get in South Africa. The churros were probably the best I've had in SA too, although I make some mean churros myself.<br/><br/>Good vibes. Went on a Thursday without a booking and space was made for us. Will go back for sure.
Suzanne Strydom
I think the Bryanston spot is a little over-rated. Nice enough food, good menu, cool decor, very full and vibey...but just not quite amazing on any front. The service was a bit slow, but that can be understood by how full it was. Have been to the Illovo branch, and much prefer it (could be the whole sitting right next to a parking lot thing that I'm not a fan of, but just feel the Illovo one feels more authentic)!
Shannon Correia
Great selection of tapas available. Love the eclectic decor. The items on the menu are quite pricey but the servings are bigger than usual tapas. The service wasn’t the best; this may have been because we took photos, although we did get approval first. Other than that, we enjoyed our time here. The buttermilk chicken is recommended!
Charlene May Tiy Kay
My boyfriend and I passed this place by chance and what a place! The food was excellent and very different - the service was exceptional even though they were booked up management made a plan for a table! I will definitely go back! Dessert was absolutely scrumptious!
Taahira Kimmie
Consistently tasty and delicious food!<br/><br/>The corn is a MUST<br/>The pop corn chicken tacos - yes please !<br/>Churros get a thumbs up!<br/><br/>The service is always friendly and accommodating and the staff are really lovely.
AN
Food was average, service was weird somehow and the menu has very limited vegetarian options which is disappointing, the portions are quite small considering the price, food is quite bland so it's a stretch to call it Mexican
Burningpaper
This is not a good restaurant. The decor is nice, though wafer thin. The food is packed with obvious flavours and predictable options. The music is poorly chosen. Cape Town’s El Burro demonstrates how to do fancy Mexican properly. The Fat Cactus offers casual student vibes. This place is all glam on the surface with nothing in the centre.

Parron held yet another Day of the Dead Celebration yesterday. We attended again, this time bringing some friends. First off the pure decor of this restaurant is vibrant and cheerful, with all the decorations and waiters being team players it was even more festive!! colorful and fun. Friendly staff, great Mexican food and attention to detail. Watch out if they have events happening, they go all out, and it is a not to be missed event every time. - just a sad mention, the staff did get our orders wrong, but the food was still good.
M Gray
The menu is way too long; and the main taco options are suffering from too many fillings. Basically the salsa, guacamole, and creme fraiche “crema” are on nearly all options. At a point it starts to taste same-ish which isn’t great because the point of the long menu is to give the customers a broad tasting experience. Dial down the extra toppings or rather make them side options. <br/><br/>The ambience is good but if you want an authentic taco experience look go elsewhere.
Let Them Eat Cake
Went for a friends birthday recently and it was my third time visiting this restaurant. Never fails to deliver. On this occasion I tried the steak, and it was done to perfection. Waiters also very clued up on the menu!!
Popsi
Because Perron's guacamole is vegan, there's loads on the menu you can veganise without losing the essence of their Mexican magic. I had the BBQ cauliflower and chickpea tacos and the killer guacamole with tortilla chips. Definitely recommended! <br/><br/>I got takeout today, but having eaten at the restaurant before I can say for sure that it's super vibey and the margaritas are winning!
Riona Arjoon
A Friday night last minute dinner and we were accommated by the wonderful manager. We had Luke for the evening who was great. I really enjoyed my cocktails and the food. The quesadilla and the soft shell tacos were amazing.
Sumeshnee Bachan
Had a great night with my friends here a few weeks back. Unfortunate side of Perron is the space issue, it's quiet crowded, which is really great for business but really uncomfortable for eating. Our group really loves Mexican food and most of our dishes were delicious, I feel that some dishes lacked that Mexican taste.
Gabriella Maxine Abrahams
Fantastic food and great cocktails. One can never go wrong with the popcorn tacos and the mageritas always make for a memorable evening<br/><br/>Not mad about the parking and location as it can sometimes be a nightmare come in and out. <br/><br/>Overall great food, great restaurant!
Nixie
By far the best Mexican food ever! Lively place, great service. The best is best enjoyed in a group and order one of all the starter dishes with loads of margaritas. Great place
Camilla Speight
If you're looking for a chilled lazy lunch spot on a Saturday afternoon, then look no further. Perron offers a funky and quirky Mexican-esque environment with a laid back attitude. Grab a sunny spot on the pavement if you can, and quench your thirst with a jug (if you're a couple/group/really like tequila) of margaritas. The jalapeño and coriander frozen margaritas are divine, but not for the faint of heart heat-wise. Food wise, the killer guac is a good starter to have with those margaritas. After that, a few of the los mas pequenos dishes are great for sharing- highly recommend the Steak Stripper Taco with a soft shell, it's got a little bit of spice, but oh-so-nice. All in all, the food, drinks and service at Perron are consistently good and worth a visit!
Chanel Pillay
I love Mexican food but I've never had a burrito so I decided to try one from Perron. The burrito was disappointing as it lacked flavor (which is the opposite to Mexican food) and had only one texture with the fillings i.e. no crunch. The guacamole was fresh and tasty, pretty much was the only highlight.
Ameera Sackoor
Loved this place. The food is so good and don't even get me started on the dessert. The decor is so cool gives one the feeling of being in Mexico.
Meagan Whitehorn
I have been wanting to try Perron for the longest time and finally stopped there for a lunch. We sat outside in the Winter sun and ordered Tapas from their extensive menu. I found the food to be absolutely delicious and exactly what I felt like. Everything was fresh and flavourful and refreshing to have the choice of so many different options for a change. Washed down by a Mexican 'Sol' beer and it made for a perfect afternoon.
Nads
Great food, great vibe and lovely service. Their cocktails are great, I had a margarita and it was enjoyable. Overall a wonder Mexican food experience.
Ilan Ben-David
Staff are super friendly and helpful! Always great having a young staff to add to the vibrant atmosphere. All of the food was great, but service wasn't fantastic, but still 100% worth the 30minute wait. Definitely recommend virtually everything on the menu! Definitely a great option if you're looking for great Mexican food without the fast food atmosphere
Shannaheyes85
What a cool place. The decor is awesome and it had such a good vibe. The waiters were on the ball. The Food was great especially the fried coconut rice pudding, and let's not forget their amazing margarita! Will definitely be back here.
Val
Horrible, horrible food. Uber Eats should not associate with this place. We won't be associating with Perron either. Half our order was missing and the other half was unappetizing.
Lisa Botha Gibbon
This is a great place for a festive get together - really nice vibe. The frozen margarita jug must surely be compulsory - delish 😊. Service is great - fast and friendly. We had a mixture of small plates - jalapeño poppers, tostadas, fish/lamb/chicken tacos. Mike had a steak which he said was fabulous. I'm not a huge fan of Mexican food, find it quite heavy, but this was nice. If you're getting small plates, start with one per person and order more as you go - it really is quite filling.

Disfrutar de la gran comida mexicana. <br/><br/>(Enjoy the great mexican food)<br/><br/>Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly server and were led to the bar area for drinks, where we waited for a table. The restaurant buzzed with excited energy and was comfortably full with seemingly satisfied people. The different colors on the wall such as dark pink, turquoise and blue floral wall with a mix of wooden artifacts and furniture sure did scream "Mexicano".<br/><br/>Mexican food without some mix of tequila and margarita would be a buzz kill.<br/>So we ordered Jalapeño & coriander margarita (tequila, <br/>jalapeños,celery,coriander, lime, orange liqueur)<br/>And Lime Passion fruit mojito ( dark rum, mint, passion fruit syrup, appletiser, lemon virgin mojito)<br/>The cocktails were nice and refreshing. Just bare in mind that the Jalapeño & coriander margarita is very spicy.<br/><br/>While waiting we also ordered some Killer guac ( avocado salsa served with tortilla crisps) as a starter. The starter was as simple as it sounds. The creamy guacamole went well with the crispy trotillas.<br/><br/>After 15 - 20 min wait at the bar, we were shown to our table and were ready to order our mains. I went for Veektor Burrito with extra cheese ( toasted flour tortillas, wrapped around delicious fillings of green rice, guacamole, grated cheese, crema, salsa, refried beans, chipotle chicken with Spanish onion.) <br/>Comment: The burrito was nice but the refried red beans in my burrito was over powering the taste of everything else in it, which was not to my liking, they should cut down on the amount of beans and equally balance all the ingredients.<br/><br/>My other half chose Fish Taco ( lightly battered hake served on two soft tacos, with a crunchy mexican slaw, spicy crema, guacamole and a squeeze of lime)<br/>Comment: This meal was filled with spicy, creamy flavour with little crunch. Not bad for a fish taco.<br/><br/>Overall, we were satisfied with our meals and drinks. Their service was little slow but i will let them pass on that since the place was buzzing.<br/><br/>I wont lie,the night would have been more fun if we had brought some friends along. Nothing would beat the dead fiestas, tasty tapas shared between friends and sipping magical margaritas or tequilas in this vibrant atmosphere of Perron.<br/><br/>This is a perfect place to experience a great Mexican vibe and indulge in the authentic Mexican flavours.<br/><br/>Bueno 😉<br/>Pros: vibrant atmosphere, good food<br/><br/>Cons: service is little slow.
Alice Le Roux
Love the vibe! Great music and colourful Mexican decor. The service is quick and friendly. The food is fresh and delicious with healthy options and very affordable. The churros with chocolate sauce is a must!! They are addictive...<br/>Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in jhb.
Jessica Pretorius
Amazingly tasty food and great service. One of my favorite dine-out spots in Johannesburg. A must try for all the mexican food lovers. Thanks to Shelton for adding to our amazing experience.
Lauren Timmer-Somer
Great vibe, good service and amazing food.<br/><br/>Must admit that I don't like Mexican food at all, my husband really does so decided to surprise him taking him to PERRON in Illovo.<br/><br/>Called them and asked for a reservation however the manager named Chef said it was full but he would keep a table free for me and we had to pop in 30 min after calling. We arrived 40 min later and he indeed safed us a table for two and welcomed us really friendly.<br/><br/>The place has a hip looking vibe with mexican influences. Younger crowd and energetic music, not that horrible Mexican music where you have the feeling listening to cats being strangled.<br/><br/>We started with some cocktails and tortilla chips and guacamole. The chips were crispy and thin perfectly matching the finest guacamole I ever had in Jozi oozing with fresh coriander, lime and garlic.<br/><br/>They have a choice between little dishes and bites (2 to 3 per person) or a big main course. Because the guacamole was so good and fresh we ordered several dishes to taste under the pretext "whatever we don't eat we'll take away and have for lunch tomorrow"<br/><br/>We had: tuna sashimi taco's, mushrooms quesedilla's, steak taco's , grilled steak burrito, prawns and chicken popcorn taco's.<br/><br/>All the food without any exeption is very fresh and of an amazing good quality.<br/>Nice flavours and well spiced.<br/><br/>The portions are not small and more then enough. We ordered so much that we have breakfast and lunch tomorrow :)<br/><br/>Absolutely recommend this place for a relaxed and chill lunch or dinner. Not complicated fresh food and carefully selected ingredients.<br/><br/>For someone who has disliked mexican cuisine for more then 30 years I can honestly say: "Arriba coming back to this place!" <br/>🇲🇽🌵🌮

I went to Perron a few weeks ago and I was really impressed.<br/><br/>I tried their chicken quesadillas and slow cooked pork tacos and they were amazing.<br/><br/>The deco was also something quite special.

Such good food and service. Booked a table earlier the week and they were super accommodating when we added a baby to our group. Food is lovely and atmosphere cool. Authentic Mexican food with not so Mexican, but Western music.

This was my first time here. Loved the food tonight! My favorite was the jalapeño poppers and churros. Cocktails were delicious. The place is small so a bit noisy but fun and the decor is beautiful Gabriel Levy

It had been ages since we were last here, but we made a massive booking for cinco de mayo and we were not disappointed. Everyone's food was great, one or two mix ups with orders but no trainsmashes and everything arriving delicious. Good to see Perron standing the test of time.

Popped into Perron on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch. The two of us weren't particularly hungry but we wanted small plates to nibble on and so ordered from the "los mas pequenos" and "nibbles" menus. The best of the 5 plates we ordered were the Spicy Chicken Quesadillas and the most disappointing I'd say were the Pork&Beef Meatballs (Jerry Lee Lewis) which just lacked depth of flavour. The most frustrating part of our meal, however, was that most of the plates arrived cold and we had to ask for them to be reheated before eating them. We washed down our meal with a bottle of Idiom Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon followed by a jug of frozen margarita which was delicious! This particular visit to Perron disappointed on the food and service side of things, but I will be back to try the 'classics' menu.

I came here once to catch up with a friend. Everything about Perron is delightful and perfect. The experience exceeds restaurant expectations. Its homely and cosy and the food is real good.

Relaxed Sunday lunch with great friends and family. Awesome food. Chilled ambience. I particularly recommend the Burritos and Jenny Chow. And some interesting Margaritas. Recommend you Uber. A meal can quickly turn into a party ;)

Had uber eats deliver perron food.Had nice jalapeño poppers with sauce and popcorn chicken, really like chicken but not actually taco, spicy quesadillas weren't that spicy

The food and vibe here is next level. I would consider myself a regular at Perron. Shafiek and his team treat me like it's my first time there every single visit. The fish taco/jalapeno margerita combo with a few tequilas on the side will never let you down!

Had such a great dinner experience at Perron tonight. From the warm welcome we received by the manager Shafiek on arrival, to the delicious food, drink and exceptionally great service by our waiter Chane Leigh. Their infamous Tangerine Ginger Margarita is definitely going on my list of favorite cocktails!! Keep up the good work guys. ;)

I heard so many good things about this place, so finally got to try it out yesterday. With it being a mexican restaurant, the first thing i wanted was nachos, not seeing this on the menu the waiter advised the only item on the menu similar to this was 'Jenny Chow' , which is basically tortilla chips with a cold dip personally i did not enjoy this at all. Also ordered the jalapeno poppers and the slow cooked pork tacos both of these dishes were good esp the jalapeno poppers.
The Sandton Times
Some solid Mexican flavours served beautifully. We really enjoyed ordering a variety of dishes and sharing these amongst the table, especially the stuffed Jalapeños.

I eat here  several times a week. There is nowhere better to get a burrito or 10 tacos! Or both. I have my favourite dishes but the Taco Tuesdays are always fun to experiment with new flavours. The restaurant is always vibey and fun, the staff are great and are like family (well, more like family that you're always happy to see, hahah)!  Shafiq and Josh run a tidy ship, well done guys. Zoie, Wes, Dennis, Ellie, Lindsay, Nina & Sipho keep it up. What a team!<br/>They need to bring back the Naked Mexican on TAP. STAT!

One of my favourite restaurants in Johannesburg. <br/><br/>Open plan during the summer and cozy during winter, with drinks to go with the season. I def recommend trying some of the wide range of tequila or a coriander and jalapeno margarita.<br/><br/>With good drinks comes great service and excellent food... grab a couple of plates for the table and share. I wouldn't miss out on the mushroom quesadillas, fish tacos, or sweet potato & corn fritters. They're to die for!

May 24 dinner: Have been waiting to go to Perron for months. A booking is generally required a month in advance for weekends and a week for weekdays. A decision on going back to India meant that the visit had to happen. Called and booked a table for the earliest available date which happened to be a weekday. We reach at the time allotted to be welcomed by our host - Lyndsay. The ambience is quite cosy as the place is not too large. The bar is on one side and the tables are smaller than normal. The place is quite lively. Jenny chow which is a 7 layered dip with nachos, was a good start. The killer guac - avacado salsa with tortilla crisps was also good. The mexican street porn was okay and this could be cos we Indians have the corn with spices and this was probably a bit bland. The jalapeno poppers were loved and ordered multiple times. The mushroom quesadilas were just too good and highly recommended for vegeterains. The black bean tostadas were not to our liking. Among deserts, we had the churros and choclate fulana. The churros comes with the chocolate dip and was crisp and yummy. The fulana is a choclate tart with a crunchy base and topped with strawberry. Some felt it was too much of chocolate but many just loved it. The service was warm and attentive. Our host Lyndsay was always around and saw that we were comfortable. So, finally managed to eat at Perron. For lovers of mexican food, this is a must visit.

Our favourite Mexican place in JHB - great fresh food, excellent service with a personal touch. Don't miss the jalapeño poppers. Best of all... a whole menu of tequila!! Definitely give it a bash.
The Restaurant Phantom
I must inform you that Perron Mexican Appreciation Society flatters the fussy.<br/><br/>It has a really cool street vibe with funky decor and perfect lighting and relaxed ambience.<br/><br/>We started with a jug of tequila margarita which went down as well as freshly squeezed juice, really well made and super tasty and just the right amount of tequila tang.<br/><br/>The Jalapeño poppers were out of this world and left a lingering burn long after it was enjoyed with the shrimp company cocktail. <br/><br/>The steak tacos were stupendously superb as were the super duper filling sweet potato quesadillas and the Jenny Chow was interesting and delicious.<br/><br/>For desert they served up fragrant Americano's with cheesecake crepes soaked in a chilli lime sauce which was surprisingly super yumm and definitely recommended.<br/><br/>We shall return soon with a full wallet and empty stomachs ;)<br/>

This place is mediocre so the elevated price point caused me to slightly lower the rating.<br/>Ambiance was what is to be expected from an establishment like this. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating and it has a bar.<br/>The service was decent and we didn't need to ever wait long when we needed something.<br/>The food was a let down. I didn't come to SA expecting much in the form of Mexican food; however, after having the delicious offerings of Gringo Cafe the night before, I did have a heightened level of expectations. We ordered some tacos and chips and guac. The chips and guac were fine; just your basic chips and guac as at any other restaurant. The tacos left much to be desired. They use flower tortillas that feel as though they came straight out a package and they top the tacos with shredded cheese. The taco meat was flavorful but not a flavor that i could claim to be of any latin resemblence. <br/>Drinks were your basic frozen margheritas which you can buy by the glass or pitcher. We got a pitcher and it didn't let us down at all.<br/>Overall, I maybe could recommend this place if they weren't so over-priced. If you do want a more fun and flavorful experience than Perron, try out the Gringo Cafe in Maboneng. You will not regret it.

Quinoa salad is divine!! Added extra chicken in mine. This place is a hit:) Love the chicken quesadilla. Actual restaurant has a great vibe and can get full. If you are looking to order in its great too!

I've only ever had Mexican food twice in my life and I wasn't impressed. I went to Perron this week to Mexican food another try. The food was amazing. I went with a friend so instead of each order something, we order 3 different foods and dessert to share. Getting a waiter was very difficult at the beginning, but after getting one everything went smoothly. We had the Jenny chow, popcorn pollo taco in a hard shell instead of soft and spicy chicken quesadilla. Everything tasted so good. We were told that the Jenny chow is an authentic Mexican way of making "nachos". The tortilla chips were delicious and it went very well with the filling. I've never tasted anything like it. I really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The bill came in a book, which was very strange and interesting at the same time. Very creative. I can't wait to go back to this restaurant during the day so I can see the restaurant properly.

The original . Amazing food, great vibe, good service . Menu excellent and varied. Tequila options great. Love their bloody mary! Tapas options allow you to journey through more of the menu at a time.

Had a wonderful meal here earlier today with some friends. Although the service could be improved, the food is tasty! I wouldn't mind a bit more of a kick though. We ordered tuna sashimi tacos for starters, they accidentally brought soft tacos after we asked for hard, but they were still very yummy! The chili con carne was well enjoyed as were the burritos :)
Jill Nudelman
Very nice! Very vibey, young and noisy! Had the chicken holy moly or whatever it was called which was ok - but those little ones! Sashimi tuna tacos, prawns in adobe sauce and the chicken quesadilla - amazing! Rounded off with a very soft fragrant 2013 Kleinboet made for a delightful meal! <br/>Just an observation - if you're looking for a waitressing job here, don't apply unless you're young, female and gorgeous!!
Chantelle
Dear word.... amazing.<br/>The variety on the menu is great. And so is the selection of tequilas. They even have a few that they get directly from Mexico that aren't on the menu. <br/><br/>Chat to the staff and they will walk you through it.<br/><br/>Really great value for money.

Early Saturday evening dinner. Decor is what you would like to believe Mexican restaurants look like.<br/>Started with jug of Tequila margarita. Very good.<br/>Starters we shared a jenny chow - seven layer mexican dip. Refried beans, guacamole, crema, olives, lettuce, cheese and chopped tomatoes.Served with tortilla crisps.<br/>Added jalapeno poppers <br/>For mains we shared the following :<br/>Sweet potato and black bean tostadas  <br/>Courgette and pea tostadasSpicy chicken quesadillas<br/>Mushroom quesadillas<br/>Steak stripper taco.<br/>Ended with mojitos <br/>Service was attentive at first but disappointingly fell away towards end of the evening.<br/>I do understand that restaurants thrive on large parties of people. We had two tables of 8 people seated behind us and the noise levels were actually unbearable. Perhaps that's typically Mexican but quite annoying.<br/>Just why people find the need to screech and scream in a restaurant is beyond me.<br/>The Tequila perhaps ??
Laura Byrne
Well known and much celebrated for its great food - and what we had was delicious. But we had to drag our orders out of the waiting staff as if they didn't actually want us to pay for anything. The bill itself took 20 minutes to arrive and our waitress studiously ignored us all night. A bit of a let-down. Good thing the company was great.

This place came recommended by my chef friend. And simply put, this was the most delicious Mexican experience ever! <br/>Fish tacos and silver tequila margarita with hibiscus salt rim were the highlight, not to mention the churros with dulce de leche sauce, to live for!! We loved every bite. <br/>Great selection of wines, awesome choice of innovative cocktails and a killer margarita!
Guillermo Van Veen
Stunning tapas and cocktails in the sun.<br/><br/>Perfect to chill with friends on the weeks-end. <br/><br/>In my three times there, I haven't tried the wines and the mains as the nibbles, tapas and cocktails are what you want to go for and are more creative.
Meagan Hutchons
Really like that Perron is authentic Mexican and not "tex mex". Service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. The only fault I could mention is the abundance of coriander and there is no option to take it out.
TwoTastyTummies
We absolutely love Mexican cuisine. <br/>Nice small street cafe with a rustic feel to it. Perfect for getting together and having a pitcher of frozen margarita's or just having a good old Carona. <br/>The food was fantastic. Packed with flavour and a portion size that is perfect for sharing. Our only disappointment was the Nachos. Or what they would call their deconstructed nachos. Don't fix what ain't broken. <br/>Perron gets Two Tasty Tummies' stamp of approval.

What a great place, lots of vibe, the friendliest staff who r forever smiling, true gem in the heart of the concrete jungle! Food was AMAZING!!! The place gets packed but the service is amazing!

This is one of the best Mexican restaurant in Illovo. This place us small and a booking is essential to get a place here. But sooooo worth the wait. Amazing food and drinks and such a vibey place. Parking is a bit of an issue. But if you get there early you are perfectly fine. Great spicy Mexican food with awesome company it always the best. And which better place to do than at Perron Neeta Raga Dullabh

Have been meaning to try Perron for ages, because I LOVE MEXICAN! A week or so ago, spur of the moment while in the area got the chance to grab some grub. <br/><br/>Opted for a clutch of little ones: tostadas, tamales, quesadillas and tacos. <br/><br/>Overall everything was good, freshly made, flavours on some dishes just didn't do a thing for me. Sweet potato & blackbean tostadas, really great flavour combo. The slow cooked pork tacos were delicious, except next time will rather have it with a hardshell taco. The spicy chicken quesadillas were disappointing, lacked any real spice and was rather boring.<br/><br/>The best part of the meal was without a doubt the CHURROS!!!! I could easy have one of these every day.
Ashley
All the hype and rave reviews you've heard are on point. Perron does gourmet Mexican like no one else in Jozi. <br/><br/>The margaritas ( there are a number of variations) are excellent, be sure to give the classic a try.<br/><br/>Food is fresh and packs a flavor punch, however if you are after really spicy you may need to add some hot sauce.<br/>Both the pulled pork tacos and fish tacos were delicious and one of my favorite dishes is the "Jenny chow" starter to share.<br/>The service, decor and ambience are great. <br/><br/>A meal for 2 with drinks will come to about R500, but it will be worth it. Book if you want a table over peak lunch or dinner hours.

Mexican food isn't always easy to get right, Perron in illovo does it just right! The jalapeños are delicious. The salsa is good too, the cocktail menu is great, vibe is great.<br/><br/>Waiting time for food can be long if it's busy, worth the wait!
Valery Mthunywa
This was such a great experience!!! A+++<br/>The service|<br/>It was spectacular, the servers were attentive all sharing the load so any waiter was happy to assist couldn't even tell that it was packed, they way they handled the function was well organized.<br/><br/>The venue|<br/>light, casual and themed we felt like we were in Mexico :)<br/><br/>The Food|<br/>Delicious! We had the tacos, quesadillas as well as nachos my word!! All just cooked to perfection! And the drinks were flowing shots of the best tequila, margaritas and yummy cocktail jug <br/><br/>Prices|<br/>Very reasonable and worth every cent. <br/><br/><br/>Overall| I loved the Halloween party and fell inlove with the restaurant :) <br/><br/><br/>I want to go back but it's so popular, best to reserve than walking in.

Great ambiance, always willing to make a plan and seat you... even if you need to be at the bar for a little while ...fantastic service, nice Mexican inspired combinations.

This was my first time at Perron. They make the best frozen margaritas, this is indeed the best I've ever had. Fantastic vibrant ambiance. Good food and friendly waiters

Had a fab evening here! The food was delicious and the staff and service was great. Lovely vibe and cute little set up. Always busy and fun! <br/>The tequila was also fantastic! (Not that I'm much of a tequila-drinker)

Managed to get a table on a busy Thursday night at the bar. The atmosphere is quite good and offers a trendy vibe. The barmen were attentive and regularly offered to fill up our glasses. The waiters constantly run around and take orders which worked. The food is fairly decent but the strong point of this restaurant is the variety. Most Mexican take away joints only offer the standard fare but we were able to order various smaller tapas style tacos and quesadillas to appease everyone. They offer slight twists on the regular fare which also makes it interesting. Overall a good experience and will be back.
Eve
went here when they first opened. great Mexican food with a twist. the inside décor is amazing, fresh and colourful<br/>the food was a 7/10<br/>the prices are a bit steep.

It wasn't necessarily not good, but all the hype surrounding it left me underwhelmed. We had the tacos which were good for the most part, depending on which one you ordered (the buttermilk chicken hard shell taco was incredible). Overall, a lovely evening and atmosphere, but nothing to write home about.

Came here last week Sunday when it was fairly busy. There were only 3 waitresses serving so many individuals so you can just picture how bad service was.<br/><br/>However the food was delicious! We had the jalapeño poppers( which were hotter than expected but that's a good thing), the chicken quesadilla- which was tasty but lacked filling like sadly it barely had anything inside, and the pork tacos. Also, I've tried a lot of guacamoles in the past, but theirs is the best I've tried ever!<br/><br/>For dessert we had churros, which were lovely just took an insane amount of time to come out. We also tried two of their cocktails which I can't fault. Their cocktails are some of the most creative ones I've seen in a while which is really refreshing

Lunch today (6 October 2016)<br/><br/>So after loving the food at Perron in Bryanston it was time to see if Perron in Illovo would live up to my expectations. My oh my. They certainly do live up to their reputation. <br/><br/>Let's start with the service. We were greeted at the door by the friendliest waiter. We later found out his name was Dennis. Dennis s/o to you my friend! You're a super waiter, an attentive person and someone I have much respect for. Perron is lucky to have someone like you working for them. So yeah the service is unbelievable. <br/><br/>The drinks. Okay- so my personal favorite is the corona margarita- it's literally amazing! I always have one when visiting Perron and they never disappoint and I highly recommend it. My mom and her friend had the tangerine cocktail which was also super. Her and her friend actually ended up drinking a jug of it by the end of lunch. <br/><br/>Onto the food. In my opinion Perron have mastered their timing. It's not bought to you straight away but you don't wait for ages either. Enough time to socialize! I like this aspect at Perron! Restaurants often fail at finding the right balance.<br/><br/>Okay so today we had the Jenny chow, the veektor, the chilli (the steaming bowl of beefy goodness), the sweet potato on corn fritters, the fish taco, the tamales as well as the sashimi burrito! Everything was delicious. Absolutely amazing. Tasty, fresh, flavorful - just downright fabulous. <br/><br/>My personal favourite is definitely the Veektor burrito with extra cheese! Always a winner.<br/><br/>On to dessert. By the time we had eaten all of the afore mentioned food, dessert was not really necessary but we went for it anyways. We had one churros with a caramel sauce and one churros with a chocolate sauce. Both were superb. We are still debating amongst ourselves what was the better tasting churro sauce. <br/><br/>Overall Perron is a lovely restaurant with great quality service and fresh, delicious food. The vibe is always hip, hop and happening and there's just such a great overall atmosphere. <br/><br/>Recommendations:<br/>1. Just go and eat here! You'll understand my enthusiasm towards Perron. <br/><br/>2. If you're going in a group, order lots of the little plates and share. <br/><br/>3. Another thing- if you're going on weekends it may be a good idea to book a table. I'm certain they get quite busy. <br/><br/>All the best to everyone involved at Perron! Keep doing your thing. You guys are making authentic, delicious Mexican food and creating a really great vibe at the same time. <br/><br/>No doubt I'll be back shortly. 🌯🌮🍤🍡🍷🍸🍹<br/><br/>

Went to Perron with great expectations, however, sadly these were not met. Service was terrible - our waiter totally forgot about us after we placed our orders . Waited for ages for the food to arrive . We ordered a starter before our mains which never came out first. Eventually, I asked another waiter to check where our food was. Finally, after another long wait, all the food came out at once, including the starter which we asked for before the main meals. Mains were cold . I had the 'sizzling' steak which was far from sizzling as it was stone cold. I asked for medium rare and it was far too overcooked, therefore, very tough to eat. It also was advertised to come with guacamole and sour cream and the amount received was tiny especially for the amount one is paying for the meal. Overall, an extremely disappointing experience . They almost are too full that they forget about customers. When paying high prices at a supposed top Mexican restaurant, <br/>I expect far better food and service!
Jolene
Editing my review because I came back to try the Mexican food after only having a cocktail my first time. I changed my original rating from a 3.0 to a 2.5, mostly because I really did not see what all the fuss is about.<br/><br/>The service is really poor here even though it was still quiet when we came. I was so excited to try the food because of all the buzz around this place, but it was actually very average. The waiter suggested the burritos and it was definitely not worth it. <br/><br/>
Jeanette Scraton
Reservation was made effortlessly. Arrived and was warmly received. Our waiter, Dennis gave us excellent service. The wine and rest of drinks reasonably priced. The food! We ordered plates of everything to share. Everything was so good! I recommend this restaurant highly. Thank you to the managers, kitchen staff and all the other staff for a marvellous evening! You have impressed me enough to recommend you to friends and family. Will definitely be back. Jeanette Scraton

Fish tacos and churros! This place is a great Mexican resturant that are served in a tappas style menu. Everything is recommend to try on the menu as it lends itself to an order an share with everyone at the table. Really good for a get together with a few friends. The only downside is that this place gets super busy and it's difficult to get a table.
Nicole Zetler Shapiro
Visited Perron earlier this week for about the 3rd or 4th time. Overall, their interpretation of Mexican food is really good - not the standard heavy cheddar cheese laden meals you find at most standard Mexican joints. <br/><br/>We always go for a variety of small options and share those. The fish tacos and mushroom quesadillas are usually stand out. And the guacamole is so tasty and authentic! even just a few plates leave you feeling satisfied. They've also adapted their menu from their initial offering slightly which is great to explore new tastes, and have introduced taco Tuesday with interesting taco options.<br/><br/>Tried the churros with choc dipping sauce for the first time this time - and it was delicious - the churros were so light - a perfect end to a meal. <br/><br/>The atmosphere is also great and vibey!<br/><br/>The only thing that lets this restaurant down is the mediocre service. Staff generally are not attentive and take long to serve you. But the food makes up for it. <br/>
Shamira
Quirky venue, delicious food and a great vibe. The service was average, room for improvement. The food was amazing! I got to try the the beer mushroom tacos with cashew cream, bean bowl with cauliflower rice and aubergine and the churros. The food tasted fresh and was a flavour explosion.

Great vibe. Fast paced, drink and eat....authentic Mexican which is tasty and more- ish. Oh my word- Margarita in a jug on a hot summers night- Yes please.<br/>Would recommend if wanting a quiet night out.

Peron is the absolute best! Such a vibe there. Great service. The food is just amazing. Everything is really good but try the fish taco :) :) you won't regret it.
