Review Perron - Johannesburg

devarpan chakraborty
The restaurant has been recently renovated and is a little smaller than what it was before. While it has lost a little bit of space it has made up for it with a much open and lit up space. Food as usual is good, tried the fish and prawn tacos for mains, empanadas and corn salad as starters. For dessert tried the strawberry shortcake. Everything was delicious, fresh and plated wonderfully. Service was wonderful. Definitely recommended place for fresh, good quality Mexican food.

Went for the all you can eat tacos on Wednesday, The drinks presentation was phenomenal, but were rather expensive. And the tacos were delicious, I just wish there was more meat and less slaw. The steak taco was my absolute favorite! Super delicious! Overall a pricey but delicious meal.

Went to this place for the first time! I must say the food was amazing and so was the service. Atmosphere wasn’t that great, people were shouting on top of their voices, other than that, will recommend and if you like Mexican then this is very close to it. Plenty of drink options. Food portion was a bit small and a bit pricey though.

Awesome experience! Trust was a brilliant, attentive and very patient waiter! Loved the fact that I didn't have to improvise with vegan options, the menu had great vegan options and they were super delicious! And I mean, I am really fussy! I had the tofu as well as the cauliflower taco, super yummy! All the omnivores at the table were raving about their food, all the different tacos, nachos and a pork burrito were ordered and they loved everything! Now the dessert- best freaking vegan dessert I've ever had in my 5 years of being vegan. LOVED!! Oh and of course the cocktails are legendary! I'll keep driving 35min to relive that experience 💃🍷💖

Best nachos I've had thus far! I don't know what cheese they use, but it is delicious - and I am in love. Interesting cocktails as well. Would definitely recommend.

Good food. A bit lacking in spiciness. Pleasant atmosphere.

Had a great time at Perron. They have really good food and great service. Initially when we arrived they seemed to have lost our booking but this was sorted out quickly. They have a nice vibe and it was quite warm inside despite a cold and rainy night. The selection of beer is a bit limited but they have good wines and a wide selection of cocktails and tequila. They have great food although the options are more limited than other Mexican restaurants like La Rosa or Cafe Mexico. Food portions are much bigger though, and the suggestion of 2-3 plates per person could be a bit much. Would definitely be back!

Visited tonight for dinner with my family. On Wednesday's you can indulge in an all-you-can-eat special for just under R200pp. The food is freshly prepared, authentic and presented well. Hamish was an attentive, informative and speedy waiter (thank you). One star lost for the coordinator of the restaurant who missed my online booking specification to be seated inside as, upon arrival, the table reserved was on the outside patio.

We booked for Sunday lunch and it was awesome! Started off with a Ginger Mule and I'm only sorry I didn't order the jug as they're so moreish! We share a bunch of the stRtes as well as the calamari tacos which were all divine and finished off with crispy fresh churros and the chocolate lava pot dessert which were both delicious. Service was fantastic throughout and the waitress was attentive without hovering. A great vibe and we're already planning our next visit

Lovely restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere. Good for groups or dinner with a friend. The hostess and wait staff are friendly and helpful and the menu allows you to build your own Mexican dining experience. A little pricy though - especially since they recommend 2-3 of the 'tapas' plates per person. Great selection of food, beers and wine and some traditional Mexican desserts to keep you entertained. Will definitely be going back in the future!

Best Mexican fare by far!!! Perron offers a superb, reasonably priced menu and their quality is the best I’ve had in Jhb to date! Brilliantly hospitable staff makes a visit to Perron all the better! They have some amazing weekly specials which seem like brilliant value for money. Will certainly be frequenting Perron as our favourite Mexican spot from here on out.

Indoor and outdoor seating. Good Mexican Food. Shelton our waiter was brilliant. A variety of cocktails served by the glass or jar. Quite a noisy restaurant as the tables are close together.

Lovely fresh Mexican food. Margaritas 🍹 were incredible! Have a fun taco time with family or friends here:) Frozen margaritas machine wasn't working but we still enjoyed the shaken ones. Can get a little loud but it adds to the atmosphere. Service is standard.
Lilja Lakic
Great Mexican food and vibe, my only complaint is that the margaritas lack enough tequila to call it a margarita, this is quite disappointing as it should be their signature drink. Service is excellent.
Hein De Vries
Tequila tasters... 'nuff said. Well, not quite. That would undermine the fact that the food is an explosion of flavour, the jugs of frozen margarita with metal-straw-salt-rimmed tumblers hit the spot, and the vibrant staff glide past with a smile. Love this place!

Very very upset!!! My boyfriend and I decided to try this place out on our date night and after getting through about half the food and complaining, because some of the dishes were soggy and oily and the fish tasted OFF we were offered free tequila to make us feel better???? No thank you! Then still expected to pay our full bill we complained again, after which the "manager" took things personally and told us we ate all the food and had to pay, and then refused to bring our half eaten plates back out as proof!!! He was extremely rude, childish and unprofessional, not willing to take a critic that food tasted off seriously? Instead trying to be cocky and disrespecting a female and telling us to never come back again. After paying the bill I am now at home with terrible stomach cramps and nausea!!!!! This restaurant has had more than one complaint about customers falling ill and the manger not taking these critics seriously in the moment is a scary situation as you guys are putting people at risk health wise. Perhaps you will only realize when you get shut down for too many cases of food poisoning.

Had such a bad experience at the restaurant on Saturday. We booked a table for about 20 people for my friends farewell and birthday lunch. When we booked they said we would have the set menu, which we said is fine. Although we advised them that there may be a couple of people who don't want the set menu, just a main meal. They said this was fine. Upon arriving at the restaurant we reiterated this to the waitress/hostess, again she said this was fine. Two people decided they just wanted a main, the rest had the set menu. We asked our waiter if this was fine and he said yes. We received our bill at the end to find they had still charged us the set menu for the two people who've hadn't had it. We queried with the waiter for him to then inform us that we still had to pay the set price even though they didn't have the set menu, just a main meal. We stated to him that he should have told us that because they would have had the additional food in the set menu if they had been told the had to stick to the set menu. The manager came over, he stated that the information was "right in front of my face" on the set menu. I explained to him all of the above information of prebooking and informing them beforehand and when we arrived and for a third time to the waiter. He said it was our fault because we should know. I couldn't understand why he was making such a deal about two people when we were a table of 20 odd. I said to him it was unprofessional and unacceptable to speak to us and treat us in this manner, at which point he stormed off and ignored us until we left. He didn't offer to rectify the situation, apologise or even give them the starter and dessert in a take away, even though we spent R6400!!!! This was my first visit to the restaurant and the food was great but I will never be going back there again purely for the experience with the manager!!!! : :-(

It was our first time at Perron Illovo Junction after glowing reviews from friends. It wasn't a bad experience, but it wasn't living up to its reputation. The food was average and we had to battle through our first cocktail that was extremely hot. The good part was the service, our waiter was very attentive and professional. I jokingly mentioned to him that our cocktails were nice, but intense. When we got ready to pay our bill the waiter came to our table and said he wanted to remove the cocktails, because they tasted it and it was not prepared the way it should be. The manager came by and offered us tequila coffee on the house for the error. It is amazing how much you can forgive when you receive good service. I'll definitely give them a second chance on the food.

I think I had one of the best meals of my life last night. The food was delicious and fresh, atmosphere great and the service was on point. Definitely a restaurant of top quality and an absolute great time. Thank you guys

I love the Perron restaurants!!! The decor is magical and the food and drinks menu is fantastic. The staff are always brilliant and I always have the best experiences at Perron. 💛😍

The food was fantastic, we were a table of 15 and our waiter was incredible. The food and drinks just kept coming. Absolutely love this place

Great vibe, tasty food, staff is great, clued up and friending. If you looking a chilled place to catch up with friends and have tequila or 2 this is place. Will definitely go back.

Just want to say a big thank-you to Perron in Hobart. Prior to our dinner I contacted them to enquire about their vegan dishes. Within a couple of hours Edward responded to me with a list of all their vegan options as well as suggestions on how to make a dish vegan, completely accommodating and non-judgemental. We've just got home from our dinner there and what an amazing night out, the food was deliciously tasty! Thanks Perron!
Homer Allison
This place was amazing. In Joburg from Texas and we are so greatful to have found Perron. It is common for us to eat Mexican 2 to 3 times a week and this has been a struggle while in SA. Well, the struggle is no more. This will be where we can get our Mexican fix. We all got a different dish and a couple of appetizers. EVERYTHING was a 10 out of 10!!

I have eaten at Perron many times, and each time I go there it gets better and better. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. Food is excellent with so many different options to choose from that we always land up ordering more than we can eat. What is really great are the many vegetarian options. It’s one of the few places that my girlfriend (vegetarian) and I (carnivore) can both have a lovely meal together. The atmosphere is perfect for an intimate date night, or a rowdy get together with all of your friends. Oh yes – don’t forget the chilli poppers and imported tequila – marvellous! One of the better places in JHB :)
PW Du Plessis
Absolute taste explosion of flavour, great atmosphere and decor. Service is on point.
Cathryn Ingram Attala
Great vibe and good food. Our waiter Dennis was amazing. We actually thought that he was the manager as he seemed to be running the entire restaurant while the other staff socialised and flirted with the guy who actually was the real manager.
Christina Herden
Hola muchachos y muchachas! I took my parents for Mother's Day last weekend and we had the abolute best time ever. The food was superb - beautifully spiced and tasty and the bloody marias and mojitos weren't shabby either. We took the advice and had a variety of starters and nibbles and mains and ended with the dulce de leche desert. If I could have had all of it again immediatly, I most certainly would have. I cannot wait to go back and chasing friends so we can do just that.
Yael Rosen
We went to the Illovo Perron this week for dinner with friends. Food was sensational! Our waitress was awesome and attentive too with great advise and tips on what to eat and drink. We had a great time we will definitely be back!
Zelia Soares
Delicious meal with great frozen margaritas. The fillet was the best I have ever eaten!
David Fassie Mavungu
I really enjoyed the food, however i was disappointed by the cocktails, the cocktail didn't have any alcohol spirits that is displayed on the menu.
Michelle Marillier
They don't know the difference between a medium fillet steak, and a well done fillet steak. And then I was up half the night with food poisoning. Won't be going there ever again!
Bronwyn Small
Fantastic food and drinks. Loved the tapas style options that gives you lots of variety in your meal. Great music and staff too.
Eva Bruce
Excellent Food! So many delicious flavours. Service was also excellent, thank you to Chelsea for taking care of our table so well! Highly recommend the steak strip Burrito and the Corn on the Cob.
Chané Stievenart
Awesome place to go for Tequilas, Tacos & Cocktail Jugs! The music and atmosphere is relaxed. This really is a go-to spot for Mexican food and a chilled night out.

A small glimpse of our exceptional evening spent at Perron in Bryanston on Valentines Day. <br/><br/>Food 5/5:<br/>Amuse Bouche:<br/><br/>The Vegetarian Amuse Bouche option.. <br/>Chilled peach soup with Belnori Goat's Cheese and croutons. An interesting combination of sweet and salty, with good texture coming through from the goat's cheese and crunchy croutons. This dish certainly did impress! <br/><br/>Seabass ceviche Amuse Bouche with watermelon gazpacho and coriander. Light, refreshing and full of flavour! <br/><br/>To start.. Tostada with achiote braised pork shoulder, apple, chilli and fennel slaw. <br/><br/>Mains.. <br/>Adobe marinated stuffed chicken, Jalapeño potato cake, black bean puree and tomatillo salsa verde. <br/><br/>Dry aged Angus beef with black been purée, burnt baby onion, lime Béarnaise and Mexican potatoes. What stood out for me on this dish.. The lime Béarnaise! A tangy, creamy sauce that complimented the Angus beef perfectly! <br/><br/>And to end off what has been an incredible Valentine's Day meal, for dessert.. Cheesecake crème brûlée, salted caramel ice-cream, honeycomb, gooseberries and sesame seeds. <br/><br/>Full review to follow...<br/> <br/><br/>For more, find me on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter: LaurasWorldza

It is safe to say that Perron is definitely in my Top 5 of good Mexican restaurants. They have the best tacos 🌮 and amazing nachos, with a great tomato salsa and guacamole. The atmosphere makes you feel as if you’re a tourist in Mexico City and you come across a show-stopping restaurant with a vibrant atmosphere. They have attentive service and I’d definitely recommend them for lunch or dinner.

One of my favorite mexican places in Jo'burg. I have visited the place almost 3 times in the 2 months and could never get bored or tired of the food.  As soon as you enter, just order the Naked Mexican (if you are a beer lover): this beer is just bonkers amazing. Goes with anything to eat. <br/><br/>When it comes to food, these are list of my fav ones to definitely try from <br/><br/>1. Their famous "Jalapeno Poppers"<br/>2. Spicy Chicken Quesadillas<br/>3. They have a massive selection of Tacos (choose anyone according to your pallet)<br/>4. The "Chilli" and "holy mole" is amazing as main courses<br/>5. Make a grand finish with "Churros" and "Warm hearted chocolate pudding"<br/><br/>Definitely a go to place for Mexican food lovers (I am, :D)<br/><br/>Cheers!!

Been to this place a few times... Their food is consistent and always tasty... The burrito is huge you don't need to have starters if you are having the burrito.... Very chilled vibe. Good menu has something If you not so hungry and lots of drinking options

Stoped here for drinks.and decided to have a small bite .Wednesdays they run a special eat as much as you like of their small plates for R150pp.Though we just had the popcorn chicken taco 🌮 ,which was really good,it had nice favors but need heat in my opinion.the hot sauce on the table needs some improvement.the service was attentive!nice chill place with good food and an extensive tequila menu<br/>

The best restaurant to enjoy Mexican cuisine. It has variety of choices in the menu and the food is delicious with a good quantity . We had chicken burritos, tacos ,nachos and churros which is a mexican doughnut served with chocolate sauce. The place has a pleasant ambience with peaceful music ,dim lights . The service is real quick and staff is generous . Good place to enjoy a meal with friends.

I think this is the best Mexican food around. The portion sizes are very generous and the food is full of flavour. They also have a very wide tequila selection.
Nikki
Beautiful Mexican food. The must try Los más pequeños are the cauliflower & split pea tostadas, sweet potato quesadillas and the fish tacos 🌮
Amy Wardle
We had a great evening service-wise but the food was average. Our waiter, Trust, was on top of things as he never let our glasses run low and was extremely accommodating. We had someone at our table that was allergic to onions. Trust made sure we knew what had onions and assured us that all sauces would be on the side. We order a variety of small dishes and found that the Tuna Sashimi tacos were our favourite and the popeye empanadas were our least as they felt like they had been frozen and reheated. The churros we had for dessert were very disappointing as they were hard and crispy all the way through instead of having a soft center.
Kevin Letord
If you enjoy Mexican food then this is the place to go. <br/><br/>I have eaten here a number of times and have never been disappointed. Great menu with a wide choice of items and lots of tequila. Service is also very good.<br/><br/>My favourite restaurant at the moment. <br/>

So for the last week, i was seriously craving tacos, when i discovered this joint on Zomato, and decided to give it a try.<br/><br/>It was a cold women’s day, but Peron created a cozy atmosphere with the gas heaters scattered throughout. We were greated with a smile and were seated immediately, we decided to go a bit early as to avoid a jam packed place, the free sparkling wine was a nice touch.<br/><br/>We first started with the pulled pork, chicken and lamb tacos. I cannot fault any of them. The size was actually very big from what i expected and the filling really generous.<br/><br/>I especially liked the crema that was accompanied on most of them as it broke the spice, the red onion provided that freshness and rounded the dish off perfectly. The gaucemolle was fresh and creamy.<br/><br/>The chicken had an amazing batter, it was light and crispy and chicken sizable chunks and incredibly moist. The pulled pork was done to perfection, soft, succulent and saucy. The lamb had incredible flavour and was so soft that you hardly had to chew, the fish was okay, the batter was crispy but a bit to much and overpowered the fish a bit.<br/><br/>So all and all a very well done to Perron Bryanston, you provided us with a delicious women’s day lunch. Will definitely be back for more!

Heard so many good things about this place. Was rather disappointed when I finally went. We officially have a few great Mexican places in Johannesburg, however this is definitely not 1 of them.

I went to Perron last night for a friends birthday. I liked the setup of the restaurant & even had sombreros to put on. They have an amazing drinks menu. The margaritas in the big jars were a win. Loved them & quite good. <br/><br/>For starters I had the guac with tacos. My boyfriend had the jalapeño poppers. Having both the guac was a nice cooler from the spicy poppers. A friend had the mushroom taco which was pleasantly good. <br/><br/>Main I had chilli with cauliflower rice and my boyfriend the pork belly. I was truly disappointed in the mains. 80% of the people our the table (15 guests) complained of one thing TOO MUCH SALT. It was unbearable could even finish my food because it killed the food & didn’t enjoy it. After complaining to our waiter he only came back to tell me the chef said it was because of my cauli rice but that didn’t make sense as we all had different meals. He failed to apologize or rectify this mistake. <br/>But overall cool place but I’d be careful with the mains. They are quite salty
Natalie De Canha
What an INCREDIBLE foodie experience! Some of the most flavourful, authentic cuisine I’ve ever tasted, from the most friendly staff I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with. I cannot wait to be back to try a few more flavors!

Good Mexican Food. Shelton our waiter was brilliant. A variety of cocktails served by the glass or jar. Quite a noisy restaurant as the tables are close together.

At last.... A great Mexican restaurant! Gorgeous colourful decor. Food fantastic!! Service good. The tasters are a bit pricey for the portion size but still worth it. Pork belly a huge thumbs up!!! Burritos big and delicious! Perfect for a casual and vibey experience paired with deee-licious food, love this place!

For a quick informal casual dining experience with friends or family Peron givens you an alternative menu option if you craving some pseudo Mexican flavors. <br/>It’s menu contains all the necessary ingredients for a Mexican ensemble dish but felt it lacked some real authentic flavor. Went for the classic Mexican chicken burrito which was just average but then again what more can you expect from a selection like that. Ambience is relaxed but don’t feel much was done with the Mexican theme as it feels like a low budget Cantina Tequila restaurant that use to be around a couple of years ago. <br/><br/>Perhaps will try something else on the menu for a quick mid week supper with friends.
Lisa Lumley
I went to Perron with a group of ladies and was very impressed with the service and food. We ordered cocktails, which were a bit pricey but nevertheless delicious. From the food we ordered the carnitas which was ok, definitely my least favorite dish, the sauce was a bit bland and corn bread stale. The other dishes were amazing. We had the tuna tostadas, fish taco and thompadre burrito. My favourite was the fish taco as it tasted very fresh and crispy. For dessert we had churros, which were delicious, however, I do think they could be served with a bit more sauce. Overall had a lovely night and will definitely be back here!!

I’m not sure where to start I have visited a few restaurant so since the beginning of 2018 and amongst such favorites as Gemmeli in Bryanston and the New Turn&Tender that opened in Cresta shopping center proving that good cuisine and simple old fashioned etiquette is always a treat to experience in a restaurant, sadly however Peron in Bryanston doesn’t appear to believe in those principles, I am appalled by the lack of courtesy, customer care, management as well as what seems to be a very poor selection in staff (yes I’m talking to you my dear “employee of the month”) *dont forget to tip your waiter he might just beat you up when you decide to come back but with all this let me explain.<br/><br/>My family and I decided to visit Peron for dinner this evening (for my fathers birthday) we ended up getting quite excited as I have been there before and my opinion of the food has always been positive if not complimentary, we perused the menu a bit and settled on a few starter choices and a few main dishes as well as a jug of margarita for my folks and myself to enjoy after a few laughs and an enjoyable birthday the first starter arrives *Jalapeño popers let me just say when this dish came it could only be described as 2 small jalapeños and their stalky friend, we asked the waiter(with smiles and a bit of laughter) to change the dish or at least just make them the same size (not much to ask for when the dish costs R60 rand. <br/><br/>“Enter manager” who tells us that he “doesn’t appreciate us swearing at his staff and there is nothing wrong with the poppers” appalled at the acquisition we questioned the manager and he refused to resolve the situation and kept blaming “the table” for being rude to his staff, my father got quite upset and appropriately asked for the bill and requested that we all leave and just pay for the drinks we had on which we got a snarky “we will cover it” from the manager after being literally shweed (this actually happened imagine getting shweed in front of customers like I refused to pay for the bill) by staff of 3 people out of the restaurant <br/><br/>We left the restaurant and were followed by the curly gentleman that works there in the video I started recording you can clearly see him being very aggressive towards me recording the video and shoved me as he was leaving back to the restaurant, my dear people in today’s day and age this is know as “assault”and I do not appreciate it point blank. <br/><br/>After asking my father “who was standing by my side as I was being confronted by the staff member” to let me speak to the manager one on one I did just that, I simply wanted to find out why such a commotion was being caused and the man had no answer besides from we “swore at his staff”.<br/><br/>Dear “Owner” (a laugh on its own😂) I don’t agree with you on how you handled the situation and you my dear friend appear to have 0 to little knowledge of the business you are in and therefore highly recommend you speak to a financial advisor as soon as possible so your family will at least be able to eat cause with the way your going you will need all the help you will need.<br/><br/>Dear whatever your name is stick to school mate you have a lot to learn in the years to come and I just simply hope that you will open your eyes a bit and soak up that knowledge like the good little sponge you are mate ;) ( that was quite derogatory sorry but hey we can call it even for me not calling the cops on you ok? ❤️)<br/><br/>And most importantly dear Perron is this how you treat your customer?<br/><br/>I certainly hope not.<br/><br/>If by any chance any of you happen to see this call me please and have the courage to stand up for your actions.I would really appreciate an apology from you and your waiter friend to be honest but it’s not even to me but mainly to my father.<br/><br/>And that’s all I have to say about that.
Bronwen Davies
Outstanding service - the waiters really know their menu! The food is all so good, I just have to keep coming back to try new dishes. My favourite thing is to try a variety of tacos and share with friends. The churros are a perfect end to a fabulous meal.
Candi Make Up
We love Perron, awesome atmosphere, waiters on the ball, food fun and yummy, wine and beers fairly priced. Only thing I could add is their pulled pork needs more flavor, I find it a little bland..
Sabrina Kennedy
Great vibe and Mexican food. The fish soft shell tacos are amazing and a good lunch size with another shared plate. I’ll go back just for those
Alison Milton
A lovely birthday evening spent at Perron. Food was excellent. Subtle flavours and very tasty - we tried 5 of the "little ones" and they turned out to be quite substantial! And even though we were replete we still had the churros for dessert! Wine was fabulous, service good for a busy evening and the restaurant was definitely abuzz with patrons. All in all...a great experience.

Having gone to the Illovo Perron i expected Bryanston to be great as well!!! We arrived and were left standing and wondering if someone would attend to us and possibly seat us. After 5 mins we were eventually seated and the table was still dirty from the previous diners. We had to request it be cleaned by the waiter who asked what we wanted to drink without observing the state of the table! He made excuses by suggesting the previous diners had just left! He cleaned up the table and disappeared for at least 10 mins before he brought the menus and disappeared again! Eventually we had to call for service to order a bottle of water after 20 mins of sitting and waiting!!!! We got up and left.....Disgusting service and being busy is no excuse....
Robyn Amy Fincham
One of my favourite Mexican restaurants in JHB. This one has particularly good service and friendly staff! Favourites are sashimi taco and fish taco. <br/>Great atmosphere!
Elmien.mostert
Perron has become or go to place for Mexican food...and we come often. The food is always consistent - our favorites are the steak tacos, jalapeño poppers and frozen margaritas. The food is delicious. Sometimes the service is not responsive enough, but depends on the waiter. It has a great vibe when the restaurant is full.
Princess Niritika
Great food, healthy vegetarian options ! A little noisy...a wider range of egg free desserts needed. The service was wonderful ! We will definitely be back here...
Roelia Schoeman
I have a weakness for Mexican food - and the whole 'vibe' that surrounds it!  Colourful, vibrant, full of flavour.  And of course, the most divine cocktails!  Perron has been on my radar for a while now, and it was worth the wait :)  Beautiful decor, and great menu!  But we were there for the tacos!  We ordered an assortment of soft tacos - pulled pork, beef, chicken and fish tacos.  So delicious!  If I must choose a favourite I will have to say that I enjoyed the chicken the most.  Lovely ambience, good service, great cocktails!
Zimkita Sidumo
It's such a secret gem! I love the bright and eccentric decor <br/><br/>The food is yummy and the service is great...they also make a mean whiskey sour 😋
Kirsty K Molepo
Visited this lovely quaint restaurant again last night. This place never disappoints, the vibe is lovely not too loud, service is good, the food is amazing and absolutely value for money. I can't wait to go back, I'm on a mission to try everything on their menu.
Nadz
Well this was a pleasant surprise! I'm not that into Mexican food... but this place was really nice. Cocktails were really really good! And the waiter was divine! Service was excellent!

Absolutely loved everything about this place... stunning decor, great service and delicious food. <br/><br/>Perron is a great spot for Mexican Tapas! We tried the fish, chicken and lamb tacos and all were simply delicious. Our favorite was the fish... the batter was light and crispy and the fish was melt in your mouth good. We also tried popeye empanadas..which was yum! <br/><br/>Dessert was churros, and wow.. sooo good.. if we had any more space in our tummies, we would have ordered round 2. The cocktails were yum and there was an interesting selection to pick from. <br/><br/>Overall a good experience! And we will be returning to work our way through that tapas menu!
Sharon
There is no doubt that the food is truly awesome!!! However, portions are small and a tad expensive!!! A dinner with a few people will be a fun, but expensive experience. <br/><br/>I also find the menu a tad limiting and more variety would be great!
Neronie
This visit was to celebrate my birthday and it was for Sunday lunc. We had delicious food and cocktails.. The meals are a bit pricey for the size of portion but the flavors were amazing in every dish we received. The ambience was great with Mexican style music and Mexican theme in the restaurant is inviting. Will go back!
Lizell Van Der Westhuizen
First time visiting Perron in Bryanston. I had the popcorn polo tacos which was delicious. The service was above average but not fantastic. The waiter was quite aloof. Disappeared as faster than he appeared. <br/>One patron at our table ordered the "deconstructed" nachos. The waiter refused to take it back just to melt the cheese. Not an unreasonable request I fe

We had lunch at Perron Bryanston. I really loved the trendy Mexican theme. We ate a selection of tacos - fish, chicken and pork. My favourite was the popcorn polo chicken taco. We also shared a churro with chocolate sauce. Food was good. I liked that we had a selection of little things to choose from. Their magarita selection was interesting and delicious. Cost was about R450 for 2 people.
Kev0's Food Adventures!
Perron at Hobart has a really cool vibe to it, the food is pretty good, I ordered lamb tacos and steak tacos, both hard shell. The steak was spicy and tasty, however the lamb was a bit bland. Churros were fried a bit too long and came out a bit brown.
Tasmika Amin
I love the decor here, pink and blue and floral wallpaper is totally up my alley! <br/><br/>Service was friendly and efficient, we brought in a cake as we were celebrating a birthday and they were very accomodating.<br/><br/>The food was good, well flavoured, decent portions. The lamb taco and jenny chow are my favs from what I've eaten here. The tamales were a bit of a let down, slightly dry and not particularly well filled or portioned. After watching 100s of episodes of diners drive ins and drives I just expected so much more!<br/><br/>Overall though, great vibe and good food so a safe choice for an evening out.

This is my second time eating at Perron however my first time at the Perron in Hobart shopping center. The restaurant is much livelier and more spacious compared to the Illovo branch. The service was a tad bit too slow however the great food makes up for it. I tried the Mushroom Quesadillas, Corn Fritters with sweet potato , Fish taco , and cauliflower tacos. For dessert I had the churro with a coconutty caramel sauce. Everything was superb! Can't wait to go back 🎉

One day the hard shell steak striper taco (my fav) is amazing, the next day, its not. The basting on street porn/corn is outstanding. I also like the battered fish balls in the fish taco. The churros and arancini can be a hit or miss. Yesterday, i had churros that were rather doughy in the middle and were all sugar outside. The service is generally good

Absolutely loved this place. Its pretty inside with some colourful ceiling lampshades, coloured walls, chairs, interesting ceiling and a well displayed bar feature.<br/><br/>We tried some nibbles and the little ones. Flavours were amazing with just hints of spiciness. Special mention to the lamb tacos and carnita. My cocktail was so yum. Ended with the churros and a decadent chocolate tart with really strong cappuccinos. <br/><br/>Noted the range of tequila shooters options and cocktails jugs but it was a lazy Sunday so next time!

Really enjoyed the Mexican food experience. Beef Taco was a good size portion and packed full of flavour. I would eat here again. Attentive service. I would have preferred to order churros for dessert...next time

I just love Perron, the Bryanston branch seems to be busier and have a more vibey atmosphere. The food is always good, my go to dish is the fish tacos and sweet potato fritters. The cocktails are great and have very unique flavors

Perron is a beautifully decorated, spacious and neat place!!! There is ample parking in the shopping Centre. The restaurant staff are welcoming and helpful. There are many options for vegetarians which is awesome :) I ordered a mushroom quesadilla which was absolutely divine! Wasn't tooooo hungry and it was the perfect size to fill the gap. The quesadilla was crunchy and fresh and tasted so amazing with the fillings. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal!

If you're into tequila or if you think tequila is more than just a grimace inducing party animal maker and you have a pile of money you just don't care for then Perron is for you. <br/>The food is goodish, small and pricey but goodish. Kinda standard mex fare with a little fanciness. <br/>The tequila selection is great and you can order a samgrita which is like a tomato juice chaser and thats pretty rad. The jugs of cocktails are great too. <br/>Service is what you'd expect from a sleeping mexican in a busy bar. <br/>Price is highish end. You want 2 or 3 tequilas and a couple of beers plus one or 2 plates of food and you're in for 500 bucks. Boom. <br/>So yeah, perron is fine. Tequila is fine.

I have to give Perron a 5 for the unbelievable service we received last night even though they were under pressure with a very busy Restaurant and limited staff....the food was outstanding as well...I now get why people say 'Salsa' doesn't serve real Mexican food! This was phenomenal, the tuna sashimi taco's, the steak...and the margarita was all outstanding! With a manager and staff who really care, this is a true gem!

Lovely Sunday with friends enjoying good Mexican. The service was good. Was not as busy and squashy as the illovo chain, spacious seating and good location. The food was good, tacos, burritos and nachos was the most popular.

The food is very good! Good portions for the tapas. Waiters attentive & pleasant- also knowledgeable regarding the menu. Would recommend this restaurant- worth your money.

Venue is nice, service was very good, food comes out fast, food was really good. A slightly more pricey than Salsa Mexican restaurant but overall great experience.

A hipster wet dream. I don't recall how we ended up here but my word, it's dope. The decor, the ambience, the staff. It was taco Tuesday and I was still going through my pescatarian vibe so I had the fish option, K had the beef. Absolutely divine. The cocktails had me blabbering like a toddler. Elderflower, lime and basil for moi, an El Diablo for the sweetheart. I haven't been there for some time but I'll be sure to add more photos when I do. Perfect for a first date or creative inspiration.

Very good Mexican restaurant. Service was attentive, manager on hand to make sure everything was running smoothly. Ambience also very good. Will be back here.

Authentic Mexican food👍 Great ambience and delicious food. My favourite is the Popcorn Pollo Taco and Mushroom Taco 👌 great value for money!

Nice and relaxed hangout for a Friday afternoon. The food was better than I expected. Had chicken quesadillas and beef tacos. The quesadillas were nice, fresh and light. The meat in the tacos could have been more tender. The service wasn't that great...found ourselves looking around for a server a few times.

I have never been even closely inclined to rating a restaurant this high but Perron was just amazing. The service was amazing. The food was better and the dessert was glorious. My husband and I shared the jalapeño poppers, steak stripper tacos, spicy chicken quesadillas and mushroom quesadillas. Every was an amazing. I especially loved the mushroom quesadilla and the beef tacos. I ordered extra of the latter. I was quite happy with life when a friend convinced me to try the churros. Oh. My. God. I'm in love forever and ever and ever. There is nothing more to be said. Book early, the place is always busy. Either way - GO!

This great little restaurant is packed full of character, my family and I loved it.The staff were very friendly and the service was fast. The food is wonderful such varied flavours even though it is tough picking something from the menu because everything just sounds delicious( and everything we ordered was!). The only suggestion is the music was not very fitting with the restaurant, I would play something bit more fun but just my opinion(The music sounded like nondescript contemporary music).

Restauranteurs, listen up! When a hungry person phones you at 7.30pm on a Saturday night and asks for a table, don't just say 'We're fully booked' and put the phone down. Take a leaf out of Perron's book. The guy answering the phone was so upbeat and so nice and so helpful. 'We're<br/>full at the moment,' he said; 'but if you come along, we'll seat you at the bar; have a drink and as soon as there's a table... blah blah blah' Although by the nature of the food, tables here free up sooner than say at fine dining places. But still. <br/><br/>So we went around, and before our drinks were even put before us, we got a table. <br/>Service was slick. Food arrived quickly. <br/>The place is bigger than Perron, Illovo and the ambience different but it's also very nice. <br/><br/>Shared some pequenos - the little ones. Then you get to taste more. All good and beautifully presented, although I think I prefer Perron's, Illovo. <br/>My only complaint - that dish with the prawns in the sauce - there was too little bread to mop up the sauce. <br/>

What an amazing restaurant, if you love mexican food and good tequila... this is the place to be.<br/>Staff, food, venue and Tequila amazing loved this place. Will become a regular.

I like Perron for two reasons<br/>- the ambience is casual and quirky - bright colours, lively crowds, energetic staff<br/>- the food is decent - loved the chicken burrito, the fish tacos and the steak tacos<br/><br/>I don't like it because<br/>- the food isn't consistent - sometimes the tacos are great, sometimes average, the portion size varies significantly<br/>- the cocktail menu is limited if you don't like tequila<br/>- it's extremely difficult to get a reservation :(<br/><br/>Overall, I've been back 3 times but it's not top of my list

A great spot for Mexican Tapas! Some of our favourites were the sweet potato plate, flaky and crisp empanada and the arancini (fried balls of rice cooked in coconut milk and served with roasted apples in a light ginger syrup and a sprinkling of cinnamon). Avoid the pulled pork, very dry and uninspiring.

We have been to other branches of Perror and food / ambience doesn't disappoint. Only thing I would say is service was slow but they were very busy.

Came to Perron for Sunday lunch when the Simply Asia next door messed us around. So glad we did. Had been to the Illovo branch ages ago and it was OK but nothing special. This branch is very cool. Nice location, good service and tasty Mexican fare. Highly recommend the Jalapeño poppers but not for the faint-hearted. The spinach empanadas were delicious. Will definitely be back for a longer Friday lunch, with wine

I'm so glad that Perron have moved past the days when a reservation was scarce and you were relegated to the bar if you hadn't booked eons in advance. Anyhoo the lack of options bought us back and even though we were seated at the bar, we were promptly moved to a table once we had ordered our drinks. The selection is sizeable and caters for those looking for a myriad of options to those who want a course based dining experience. The menu is a welcome departure from the stereotypical Mexican fast food style options and venturing into a more sophisticated culinary experience. We went straight for the small plates and each was a unique flavour combination that really offered something different and interesting. The flavours of the empanadas, tamales and tacos were delightful. Of course a Mexican kitchen isn't truly authentic without mole on the menu and we weren't disappointed. Would have liked to see a build your own option (as opposed to individual 'sides') for larger parties. Service was smooth and flowing. The small plates are a good tasting portion for 2 people as are the starters (although I don't quite understand why the 2 are separate). Plenty of options to entice for multiple visits. The only downside is the acoustics and the restaurant can get noisy even when not so crowded making conversation difficult.

I ordered a meal  here via Uber eats and i had mixed feelings about it. <br/>I tried a few items that I wanted to try for a while, and I must say I was disappointed.<br/>The fish taco was ok but very "fishy" and I know that sounds weird but it felt like the fish was old or fried in old oil. There were lots of flies that suddenly came into my kitchen when I opened up the box.<br/>Next the mealie parcels,  I didn't like it at all. It was my 1st time trying it. The salsa was good though.<br/>the only great thing was the chicken  flatbread, that was a great dish and I mainly ate that.<br/><br/>Ive eaten at their Illovo branch and i enjoyed the items there. this branch hasn't left the same feeling.

Visited this place on a Tuesday night and found out about Taco Tuesdays, which is a bigger variety of tacos sold only on Tuesday for a slightly lower price. The vibe was bright and welcoming. We ordered a variety of tapas, beer batter mushroom tacos, jalapeño poppers, corn fritters, steak, and taquitos to name a few. <br/><br/>I found the food to be tasty but felt that the price tag didn't align to the meals. A tapa averages R55 and the recommendation is between 2 and 3 and you can do the math for a meal alone. The service was rather slow and we had to waive the waitress down many times. <br/><br/>All in all the place is bustling and bright, the food is good (but not exceptional) and the service leaves a lot to be desired.
Himesh Mistry
Yay! I was soo excited to know that a branch opened up in this area. Tapas are my thing so Mexican tapas makes it even better. Try everything. Don't worry as the tequila help digest and make more space in the belly. You will need it as the vibe keeps you in a happy spirit !

Tried out this Perron branch and was so impressed!! I loved the vibe. The waiters were attentive and the food was excellent! A much better experience compared to the Illovo branch! I'll definitely be returning to Perron Hobart!
Diana Mak
I love this place! The size of the meals are nice and small so you get to try a variety. The dessert, churros is also very delicious. I have it every time I come here. This place is always busy and vibing! They once gave us sombreros to wear and take pictures.

I visited this much anticipated restaurant with my daughter and what a great atmosphere it has. We both had burritos and they were huge. Delicious although a bit spicy for us. Unfortunately you can't order the amount of chille to be added. Looking forward to returning for one of those jugs of margaritas!! 🍸👍

After driving around jhb looking for a good restaurant we settled on Perron, decor absolutely beautiful and good vibe in the restaurant. <br/>Good selection of drinks... had a non alcoholic lime mojito which was yummy... and soothed the burn from the jalapeño poppers. <br/>Had a selection of small plates and a fish soft shell taco which all satisfied my hunger. Churros for dessert were freshly made although no coconut flavour in the coconut dulce de leche sauce.<br/>Good night out 😊

Perron came highly recommended, so my experience was perhaps a little tainted by these expectations - and a little Mexican spot in Cape Town that I adore. Perron was decent, but just not authentic enough for my taste. Their less "Mexican" dishes were good, but the tacos were quite average. The service was quite naive (who doesn't know what a Flat White is in 2017?) and erratic. The desserts were good though. The environment is loud and bustling, perfect for a dinner with friends. I wouldn't recommend rushing there, but it's a decent enough spot for a chilled dinner.

Loved this place, my friends was there on Sat eve, and i must say service great, awesome tequila, love the Margarita Jug!!! Yummy, Mushroom Quesadilla and the quinoa salad was the yummy! will definitely be back for the awesome buzz!!!

Everything at Perron Bryanston was beyond expectations! Service was tops, so attentive without being intrusive. When we called to make a reservation they had none available but instead of turning us away they made a plan and seated us at a shared table instead which was actually pretty cool and made for a different experience. <br/>The margaritas were divine and potent, no skimping on the tequila. We ordered a few tapas which I think is the best way to eat because you can try a few different things. The highlight, for me, was the ceviche - tangy, flavourful, refreshing - it was incredible! The waitress was wonderful, she offered up great suggestions like ordering the dulce de leche with the churros instead of chocolate which turned out to be delicious. <br/>A little bit on the pricey side but I think you get what you pay for because I did not leave disappointed.

Probably my favourite restaurant at the moment. Excellent tapas selection. Fish taco's and mielies are great! Good cocktails! Great vibe. Friendly service. Go , you wont be disappointed!

Being a huge fan of Perron in Illovo, I was eager to see if the new branch lived up to the good name. Perron Bryanston is such a win!! I have sat at the restaurant and gotten take-always, both of which were delicious. The Beef Thompadre is my absolute favourite. It is so flavorful and portion sizes are generous. The jalapeño poppers are also great, and the cocktail jars are a win and make for a festive evening. When we got take-aways, it was in Valentine's Day through an UberEATS special. Unfortunately the Uber driver didn't anticipate the massive demand and it took ages for him to fetch the food from Perron and deliver it to us. Throughout the whole wait, after we initially called Perron to find out what was happening with the food, they continuously called us back to update us and apologize, which was great customer service.
DebbyGP
I was very excited when a second Perron opened up closer to home. The standard of service and quality of food is on par with their flagship restaurant in Illovo. The food tastes freshly prepared and the portions generous, especially if you go for the bowls! Great service from the waitresses. Be sure to order a jug of margaritas!

Awesome place, AMAZING food and wonderful service...great wine selection. We really had a great evening with stunning variety of tastes in the various tapas. Thank you

I had an an early dinner this evening and tried the "killer guac" for nibbles whilst I waited for the kitchen to open . Killer guac is basically tortilla crisps with avocado salsa.<br/>The avocado salsa was actually good I enjoyed it . I kept digging with those crisps 😩🙈🙉<br/>Very fresh and colorful typical Mexican joint , totally love it ! <br/>I love the vibe here have tried it before just today was in a hurry so couldn't stay long.<br/><br/>Had pork belly for my mains served with. Mexican potatoes , re fried beans ...<br/>My friend had the Sizzling steak we both enjoyed our meals . <br/><br/>I would highly recommend Perron if you in the mood for some good Mexican food and drinks ..<br/>Sat by the patio it was lovely and refreshing. <br/><br/>Amazing food ! Take me to Mexico ✅✅

We had the most AMAZING bartender teach us all about authentic tequila! Lionel was AWESOME! We will be back for his service! Thank you so much!<br/>5 ☆☆☆☆☆

This place is always buzzing, lunch and dinner and you lucky if you get a table. Been a few times and recently tried taco Tuesday out and it did not disappoint. Great food, awesome vibe and friendly service. A must visit🤗

They have some great tasting food. Although they serve small portions, and aren't cheap.<br/>However their food is Really good!<br/>We were a table of three and decide to order a few of the "finger foods" (6 dishes), but had to order a few more to fill the tummies.

I grabbed a quick lunch with UberEATS from this Perron yesterday. The delivery time was about half an hour and when the food arrived it didn't look like much, plus the price was insane... over R100 for a burrito 😱 luckily I have some money off thanks to UberEATS referrals.<br/><br/>• Veektor Burrito: despite its appearance and exorbitant price, the burrito was so delicious! The tortilla was delicious and toasty (more like a roti actually), and it was filled with amazingly flavoured, fresh ingredients. I loved the amount of guac and chicken they stuffed in there, and the rice and beans were super tasty. It came with a side of hot and yummy salsa as well. Unfortunately the coleslaw accompaniment tasted a bit weird and almost soapy. <br/><br/>I would give them a 4 if their prices weren't so pricey, but the quality of the food is really good.

Lovely chilled evening at Perron with our supper club. We asked our waiter to bring us a selection of starters and then a selection of smaller dishes for mains so we got a chance to taste a lot of the items on the menu. It was all fresh and delicious! The iced margaritas are fantastic and they kept them coming. The manager was visible and active and popped over a number of times to make sure we were happy and taken care of. We ordered a few churros to end of the evening and they were light and delicious and the perfect end to a great meal. Thanks Perron!

This place is always a winner- never have been disappointed coming to this spot. We switched it up this time and sat at the bar- where Mike served us.. amazing amazing service, super friendly and efficient. Shout out to the kitchen staff for getting our food through so quickly! <br/>Amazing food, amazing service - enough said.<br/><br/>Fave of the evening was the evening was our dessert- the arancini:)

Love Perron and Mexican food, sat at the bar had a great night. Food was awesome and Mikey & Glen were amazing - introduced us to some awesome tequila's

Amazing all round - vibe, service, food, drinks. Taco Tuesdays are a win. Desserts (churros and taquito) were divine! Margaritas delish! Will def go back!

I keep going back to Perron for two reasons...amazing margaritas & awesome vibe. I've decided that they make the best tacos too😉<br/>This Bryanston one is just as good as the Illovo one. We had some nachos to start...I really enjoyed the dip. For mains I had the sashimi tuna taco...spicy tuna sashimi, soy sauce & agave syrup with sesame seeds & spring onions...these flavours worked wonderfully well together. I then had the 'prawns in adobe'...Mozambican prawns marinated in chilli & orange juice...this was so tasty that I wish there was more bread and a bigger portion. <br/>For dessert we had the churros, of course...have to say these were better than the Illovo branch, although I felt the chocolate dip a bit bitter. All in all, a lovely experience and I'll definitely go back for the tuna tacos...delicious 🌮🌮🌮

The service night not have been the greatest (and I'll be honest, that suited us just fine for the night and our mood). <br/><br/>Much smaller than I anticipated - so it being full made it seem mad. <br/><br/>BUT.. the dishes we ordered were yummy (save for the prawn situation... could have given that a miss). <br/><br/>Might give it another try... after another Mexican joint.

My boyfriend took me out for dinner to Perron, Bryanston last night.. no pics (sorry! Date night and no phones!) We hadn't booked so arrived on the off-chance we could sit at the bar: the host was INCREDIBLY welcoming and helpful and as suspected, no tables available but plenty of space at the bar. <br/><br/>We shared a jug of frozen margherita and guac and tortilla chips to nibble on. The guacamole was delicious, only comment would be that it was a bit awkward to eat because it was placed at the bottom of a deep bowl & covered by the tortilla chips but otherwise yummy! We were quickly moved to a table (much to our delight but that said, we were super comfy at the bar!).<br/><br/>I ordered the chilli and my boyfriend had the Gordo burrito (with pork pibil and pink onions). My chilli was AMAZING! Very spicy, flavorsome with all the sides and rice: made a perfectly satisfying dish, I'd go back today to have it again! BF said the burrito was great (and he's not a Mexican food fan!) so all in all, a great evening. I can't wait to go back!

I needed to give my body a break from sushi so I checked out the Zomato app for lunch spots close to the office that were not Chinese or Asian...this spot came up and the ratings looked good enough for me to venture out and experiment..<br/><br/>My lunch partner and I had a giggle at some of the names of the dishes on offer, but decided to raise our minds out of the gutter and focus on the item descriptions  (after googling some of the names in the Urban dictionary.. )<br/><br/>We settled on a selection of  the "small ones"; fish, beef, pork and vegetarian. <br/>Vegetarian option - Tamales - oh my word were these not the most delicious vegetables I have tasted! Did have a slight ARGH THAT'S HOT moment when I dipped my portion into the little sauce bowl served on the side though..my taste buds were declared positively "girly" as apparently its not that hot.<br/><br/>Slow Cooked Pork Taco - just underscored my love of all things pig...<br/><br/>Steak Stripper Taco - oh stop giggling, it was great.<br/><br/>Fish Taco - my personal favorite, the lime just complimented the fish so well.<br/><br/>Dessert had to be tried out considering its a Dry January and my usual glass of Sav Blanc was noticeable by its absence.<br/>The Chocolate Fulana (that's one of the googled words in the urban dictionary..) was originally going to be shared  but after the first bite I reminded myself that I was an only child and had never learnt the concept of sharing..<br/><br/>Will definitely be back when I am off the wagon as I think a few tequila's, some additional people and loads more "small ones"will make another memorable occasion...

Booked a table for 6 here last night. Loved the atmosphere and decor but sadly, the food was dismal, especially compared to the Illovo branch which I've been to many times. Frozen margaritas were far too salty, tuna taco came with giant chunks of tuna slapped on top, not ceviche, and with no flavour, and the fish taco was soggy. Although the manager was kind and tried to rectify the situation, I won't be returning any time soon. Consistency is key with a franchise and sadly, Bryanston doesn't remotely measure up to its Illovo counterpart.

Booked for our camera club year end supper. Was worried it would be too noisy & fast paced like Illovo but not at all! Much more relaxed and chilled vibe! Service for a table of 10 was great but confusion around what was starters and mains meant some people's main course arrived with starters. Shared nachos which were very tasty. Good sized portion. Burrito for main was huge!!! Too full for dessert but others tucked in. Very festive!

My husband and I came here for our anniversary lunch the other day (turns out it was the last day before they close until Jan). We ordered a bottle of wine and then decided we wanted to change it, no problem at all, the waiter was lovely and very helpful. <br/><br/>We opted for the small plates so that we could try a few bits and pieces... we got the mushroom quesadillas (very tasty), the tuna sashimi soft tacos (my favourite meal of the afternoon), pulled pork tacos (we ordered soft tortillas, i think it would have benefited from the hard taco as there was a severe lack of texture, it was a bit mushy), we also had the popeye empanadas (loved these but there was a lot of chilli in mine that I wasn't expecting as wasn't mentioned on the menu). Overall food was nice, I wouldn't say it's miles better than any other mexican I've been to. <br/>The decor is very nice, however the music just didn't do anything for us.. it was a little too drum and base when you're expecting a little more La Bamba. <br/><br/>But good experience.
Gabe
Food is not bad , small or big platters a bit overpriced though. <br/>Staff was effective and sweet to us . <br/>Not a place to bring a big family one will go broke :p other than that I've enjoyed it.

Date night @Perron Bryanston. It was our first time at the restaurant and we were blown away... The service was excellent (thanks Toby and Trust!)... We initially called to get an alternative number for the illovo branch but in the end we headed for bryanston. The trek was totally worth it. My husband had a beer (Naked Mexican) while I had a delicious mojito. We shared tostadas, sweetcorn fritters with sweet potato, and Chilli poppers and then had fish tacos. We finished of with the churros. Every single thing was delicious. We plan to go back for my husbands birthday in January.

Had lunch here a few weekends back and it was fabulous. Kept struggling to get a booking and eventually got one for a Sunday afternoon. To start off we ordered the Jalapeño poppers which were great. We then ordered 'the little ones' to share. I would definitely recommend the sweet potato on corn fritters. The fish taco and spicy chicken quesadillas were really good as well. Our waitress was knowledgeable and friendly and service was excellent.

We love mexican cuisine, and Perron is just about the best in the business!<br/>The service is fantastic (we were served by Charl), and the food is quick and delicious.<br/>Also got one of the tastiest margarita's in town. We'll be back!!!
