We held a big family lunch at La Vie en Rose for our daughter's 21st birthday (2nd large function we have had at the restaurant). The entire process, from booking to the end, was efficient and easy - and we received exactly what we were promised! Our waitress, Patricia, was amazing - anticipated our guests needs, consulted with me through every step of the meal, was organised, friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The food was great, plenty of it, the service was fantastic. We had the most memorable day, despite the rain (we were moved inside to a lovely table) and everyone had a wonderful time. A huge thank you to Patricia, Tash and Rony who took all the stress on themselves and ensured that every single detail was covered - we had a very special celebration for our daughter!

Service is always excellent and friendly. You are made to feel special and the menu has a great spread for all tastes. Desserts are also awesome, even if it requires some serious gym exertions afterwards :-) and sitting in the garden, summer or winter, while eating good food adds to the experience!
Had my Mom's 80th Birthday Brunch at La Vie en Rose. We had about 25 people attend and sat under the trees. Everything was fantastic! Their communication and help before the event was superb, the service was excellent and the food was first class. It all went very smoothly and we were delighted with the event. Highly recommended.
We did a baby shower at La Vie En Rose on Sunday and my experience working with Tash in the planning processes paired with the friendly and helpful staff on the day was incredible. They all went above and beyond what was expected of them, they were extremely accommodating to my needs and furthermore prepared a delicious canape menu that kept my guests enticed and satisfied with ample food to munch on for the afternoon. The venue is so beautiful and tranquil with stunning garden features and fairy lights. It is conveniently located just off the M1 and well priced for any special function.

I'm a great fan of this La Vie En Rose; I've been to several birthday and farewell bruches and recently hosted a baby shower here and every time has been a pleasant experience where the food, service and the facilities have all been 100% amazing. Highly recommend it and will certainly be coming back to make more memories here.
Went there for a mothers day lunch. Lovely kind-hearted atmosphere. Perfect for a Sunday lunch. I had a salad from the make your own salad menu. However, I was disappointed by the price given the fact that I am vegetarian and did not have the more expensive items on the list.
With that being said, I will return.
We hosted a surprise baby shower and the staff did their very best to give us a great menu of canapés for our limited budget. They were very helpful in setting up our deco for the event to make sure we got the set up we wanted. They gave us all blankets to keep warm when it got chilly and the food was delicious.

We went for Sunday lunch to celebrate my dad's birthday. Great venue for a family get together. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was tasty. The burgers are HUGE. I especially liked the Moroccan fillet, which was succulent and tender and deliciously spiced. We will definitely be back.

So we celebrated my mom's birthday this past Sunday at La Vie En Rose with my entire family and was truly impressed. We ordered the buffet which was beyond our expectation, the food was amazing. The garden area as well as the atmosphere on the day was beautiful. The other thing that impressed us is how we were treated like royalty from Tash, Amanda and all the waiters that attended to us, thank you!

My experience there was lovely. It was also easy to arrange the event with KCC La Vie En Rose.
The only draw back is that they were running late and still setting up while my guests where there. And the food took a long time to come out. We waited an hour.

This place is divine! It's a perfect spot to relax and spend time with friends and family.
The menu at KCC is so varied and has a very good variety of vegetarian food. We've had many bridal showers and girlie breakfasts here and we have never been disappointed with the service or the food. There is also a lovely, warm atmosphere whenever we've visited the restaurant which encourages the rather long breakfasts and lunches we've had there!
The only negative is the large outdoor space which is essentially unusable on Joburg's cold winter days. Having said that, the team at KCC does their very best to warm you up with their lovely artisanal teas and beautiful bakes and warm, snuggly blankets laid our on the chairs for us to use!

We had a very good time with friends for a bridal shower. Although it was during December period and many people were also having their events, everyone was happy, felt accommodated, it was such a peaceful atmosphere. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and made sure we were being taken care of.

We recently hosted a corporate recognition event at La Vie En Rose at Killarney Country Club. It went off so smoothly and all the drinks and food was delicious and beautifully presented. Most of all, the staff made the evening by helping us set up the décor and tables, and getting everything sorted- everyone was extremely helpful and truly went above and beyond. We would highly recommend use of the venue for events in future- the staff truly takes a vested interest in the success of the event and make a big effort to ensure everything is kept under control.

Many a celebration was held here including bridal showers, birthdays and even post exams. The venue is beautiful with wide open spaces, a beautiful garden and lots of parking. The service is good with attentive waiters. My favourite is the Moroccan Rose burger - the lamb is done to perfection. None of our guests have ever been disappointed with their meals. This will always be my go-to place to host a celebration.

This is a great little hide-away gem. Food options are great and different. We’ve generally gone for breakfast, and always been satisfied. They serve a lovely cookie with their cappuccinos. And they also stock these “health shots” which deliver an amazing punch. Nice setting both inside and out.

This little hidden gem is tucked away on the outskirts of the Killarney Golf Course. They have a beautiful outside garden area. Our group was seated inside due to the cold winters night. The food was outstanding. We had a spread of starters to share amongst our group. This included the the Camembert wheel, which definitely ‘stole the show’. The staff are very friendly and attentive. I will most definitely be visiting again to try some of the main course dishes.
I decided to use La Vie En Rose for a party of 140 people and it was the best decision I have made. Roni, Yanky and Michelle made it an effortless experience. The food was sensational, the vibe was great and the staff couldn't do enough to help us. All our guests walked away raving about the place. KCC La Vie En Rose hosted my 40th birthday party for 50 people. Michelle & Rony was very accommodating with my requests on the menu and wine that i requested. Even accommodated me with a photobooth as some entertainment for the evening.
They made the evening effortless, the waitrons were amazing. My guests was well taken care of. the food was AMAZING, the canape's was devine.

Just superb! We have been here a few times in the last few months, food is outstanding and service great. Their complimentary starters are delicious, in summer we had olives, breads and spreads and today for winter spicy butternut soup with mini rosemary loaves. Their burgers are one of the best in joburg, sandwiches and steaks also excellent. A firm favourite for our family.

Simple pasta dish was ordered but it was made perfectly. Ingredients for the pasta were made separately and hence their own flavours were brought out in the dish. Speedy service! Meal was out in 10 minutes
We booked brunch for a table of 10. The new location has more indoor seating and is quite pretty, the garden however overlooking a pool, tennis court and fences could use some pretting up. It's a casual venue ideal for groups for bridal/ baby shower and parties.
The menu has more options that whats on zomato with a nice selection of drinks, including cocktails, wines, bubbly, speciality teas, etc. Meals all round were okay and portions nicely sized. I had the shakshuka which was bland, spiceless for something marked spicy and eggs overcooked in a tomato stew. The salmon and eggs were a hit as well as the chicķen pasta, wraps and sandwiches. The pistachio cake was delicious and waffles to end were good.
Due to staff setting up tables and large groups of people to attend to, service is slow and you tend to spend much longer than anticipated.
La Vie en Rose never disappoints. We had my daughters baby shower at La Vie en Rose on Saturday 20/1, from start to finish the experience was outstanding. Tatijiana goes out of her way to accommodate you, from seating, to food and service on the day of the function. We chose the high tea option, all the food was absolutely delicious, a real indulgence. We had some special dietary requirements, Tatijiana went out of her way to accommodate these. Lovely setting and ambiance. Highly recommended.
What a lovely setting for an outdoor Summer brunch! The appropriately rose-themed menu is really interesting, with lots of vegetarian options. Prices are high-average. We ordered four completely different breakfasts and all of our meals were attractively presented and delicious! Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The coffee and cappuccinos were good (cups a bit too small) and were served with little rose-shaped biscuits. A lovely touch.

The vibe is better accustomed than family events and older patrons, so this isn’t a restaurant I’d ordinarily frequent. There is no music and no ambience (your own dining company excluded). They do provide sweet little blankets for the tables in the event of cold. But the Killarney Country Club isn’t particularly attractive, neither is this restaurant.
Still, the food is pretty good. The salads were average. The caprese had a decent helping of mozzarella but very little tomato and basil in comparison - so not a well balanced dish. I ate the chestnut rose (steak and mash) and that was fantastic. As was dessert: giggles (white - baking - chocolate in Phyllo). I tasted a little of the schnitzel and the Penelope (prawn napolitana pasta) and, although the latter wasn’t great, there were no serious complaints at our large table. I’d go back just for my steak and mash (although the dish could’ve done with a bit more sauce given the size of the unbasted steak).
The menu is oddly named. You’d expect more French cuisine, mais non. The starters are heavy (I couldn’t eat the delectable-sounding Camembert wheel plus a main, which is sad). The dishes have strange names (how is the Penelope a pasta? Also, chestnut rose sounds like a horse). The menu is fairly limited as regards vegetarian options and there absolutely nothing if you’re vegan.
The service was good; the waiters attentive but unintrusive.
This is the kind of place to go for lunch with parents, mild work events and engagement parties.

We had a mixed experience of our Christmas lunch buffet. The table position was perfect, the staff and waitrons were very friendly and attentive. The starters were outstanding, but the main meal really let the lunch down. The sirloin was rare, and while I like rare steak, this was very rare! Barely cooked! What was offered as linguine was definitely not linguine, and the squash and red pepper bake was difficult to identify. It was, to be honest, a bit of a disappointment, especially after the excellent starters.

A lovely place to host your event. I hosted my sisters kitchen tea. The service and the food was absolutely great and more than we expected.
To be honest I am a bit perplexed by the high average of 4.1 as my experience falls short on every aspect of the dining experience, even the basics. First thing first, out server, he was not very attentive and we had to repeat our orders and sometimes even once more after noticing that the wine we ordered with the other drinks did not even make ot past our table😩. Eventually things got sorted and we placed our orders, i went for the la rosa pasta, it was decent but just again fell short. At 108 for the plate i could count the cherry tomatoes on one hand, with a small twig of basil and mozzarella that were clumped together - so yeah i expected more! The other members of the table had the dyi salad option so pretty safe to say they were happy, and the portions rather decent. Wont be returning any time soon.
Cannot fault La Vie en Rose. Had a great Baby Shower there on Saturday 21st October. Everything was set up when we arrived and the staff very attentive and helpful. The "tweaked" High Tea menu was everything and more than we expected. Food delicious and everyone made use of the "doggie bags" supplied by La vie en Rose to take away an extra piece of chocolate cake, etc. Would definitely choose and recommend the venue. Thanks La vie en Rose for making a memorable occasion for all of us.
I may be a little bias because it was my birthday but I really loved this place. The cocktails were fantastic and their food was amazing as well. The simple and clean white decor over looking the garden was the perfect touch needed for a crown birthday, flower crowns and all. Will be back to sample more great food from the menu
I had such a wonderful experience here. On this particular morning the restaurant was full to capacity - Yet this did not at all interfere with our brunching experience.
We were seated at a lovely outdoor table; the waitrons were extremely attentive and pleasant and we did not wait long for any of our orders.
I ordered the Spanishh Rhapsody which was absolutely delicious.
The vibe was perfect for a morning of bubbly, wine and laughs!

We recently hosted my 60th birthday dinner there for 50 people and it was everything I could have wished for. The staff were amazing and very attentive. The food divine and the atmosphere very festive. We were placed in a corner and although there were other people in the restuarant, it never felt instrusive. The lights in the garden in the evening make the place look magical. Well done Yanky and your team. We will be back!
We had a lovely time at La Vie en Rose at KCC, the atmosphere was very relaxed and although we were a large table the service was very good. The staff were helpful and attentive, the food was great and aside from a few bumps everything went as planned. It would have been nice to not have been rushed away but the place does get very busy.

We come here regularly for breakfasts and lunches and are consistently impressed.
The new venue is lovely, the gardens are great for letting kids run around in whilst mom and dad get to sit quietly and eat some delicious food.
The staff are always friendly and polite. They have a really extensive menu which caters to everyone. My husband often wants some of the lunch items at 10:30/ 11:00am, and they are always happy to oblige him by making these.
It's a great spot for functions too and they are known for their hen's party/ baby shower menu's.

Beautiful part of Joburg. Situated within the Killarney Country Club property. Relaxed atmospher. Was glad to see no bacon on the menu but you can add it to a dish. Breakfast was an unusual menu but really good. They even recommended we order from the main menu.
The service is superb. The servers are attentive so there are no missed order notes. The food is also delicious and the portions are filling. I have attached a photo of a pasta dish, 'Old Country Road'. It's good but I would not recommend if you do not like tomatoes as it is tomato based. 4.5 stars

The venue has outdoor seating and is calm and relaxing. I had the pink salmon with roasted potatoes and ricotta cheese salad. The salmon was prepared well but felt it could have used a bit more seasoning. For dessert I had the Decadent Nutella waffle. The waffle was amazing and came with a strawberry cheese cake ice cream. Just wished there was a bit more of the ice cream but overall a good dessert.

Had a lovely Sunday brunch here … beautiful setting under the trees where kids can roam freely. Great veg options with a delicious variety… we loved sipping mimosas while we relaxed the day way. Would recommend if you looking to spend a relaxing brunch under the trees away from the city bustle !
Lovely setting under neath the trees at La Vie, dived into the high tea we had planned. The staff were wonderful and catered to everything including the birthday cake I requested :) the chicken livers are to die for!😍
Took guests for Sunday brunch...food was good and service was exemplary! Patricia was amazing and went the extra mile to ensure that our table of fifteen received our correct food and drink orders...will definitely return!
Wonderful restaurant. Beautiful setting, especially for a lovely summers afternoon. Food was good. The pasta was cooked al dente and the sauce was very tasty. The steak was cooked to perfection when ordered medium. It was very tender and the thin chips were really crispy. The cheesecake was heavy and dense, so if you prefer a lighter, fluffier baked cheesecake, rather order a waffle. The service was excellent and the friendliness of the staff was well received. Will be back next time to try the high tea!
I always have a great time here! The garden aesthetic is perfect for brunch and taking in some sunshine.
The food is generally reliable and service is always good. My default order is pretty much always the shakshuka but I've heard the rest of the menu is fabulous too.

Amazing service. Beautiful, tranquil scenery and simple, elegant decor. Not too pretentious either. We had a breakfast table of about 20 people, and the food was served simultaneously, hot and delicious. The waiters let us know if there was any delay. Lovely, highly recommended place to eat at.
