Very very friendly and proffessional staff!! Margie served me and my wife very pleasantly… Food quality could be improved but very good value for money! Maboneng Precinct- a joyful African cosmopolitan atmosphere!

A lovely place with a distinct difference from other restaurants around the location. The live performance was excellent, allowing you to request songs of your choice.
I will recommend it to those that want something different from the normal high-volume sounds from speakers. The food served was lovely and freshly served. The customer service was excellent, and the servers were friendly.

Went there for music on Friday. A band that plays with reggae tone was just great. They started at about 8pm. I just had drinks, no food however service was great. The location is extremely busy there on Friday and Saturday night. Recommend using ride share

I’ve heard about Pata Pata numerous times, so we had my better-half’s birthday dinner-for-2 there last night and it did not disappoint!
Great music & vibe, yummy food and perfect service.
The setting and menu are distinctly South African, so the ideal spot to take international visitors for a proud local experience.
I’ll definitely be back.

Excellent professional Service and delicious food. The manager did not chase us out after the restaurant closing time. Unfortunately we did not see that the restaurant was closed cause we were having such a great time there.
I really felt bad that we overstayed but time flies when you are having fun

Awesome place with high quality food and nice service! Had a perfect evening! They have everything covered from African food to international meat meals

I love how they accommodated us even during load shedding. There was a live band and the aesthetic that takes you back to your roots. They play good music like the likes of Brenda Fassie and etc. Amazing place

Very chilled place, music was playing at a reasonable volume. We went there during the week. The food portion was good as well

Friday night at Pata Pata had a great vibe, thanks to the artsy location and live Jazz music that actually was the star of the evening.
It was quite busy and waited a few minutes for a table. I would suggest getting there a little earlier, because as soon as the band sets up people will be less inclined to move after their dinner.
The menu has a lot of South African favorites. Our steak was over done and the oxtail was tough but the sauces were great. I have to say that for the price we were let down by the quality in preparation.
A glass of wine: R45-55
300g Steak: R140-R160
Steak toppings: R45
Sauces: R35
Dessert: R 40-R50

Stopped there with our driver Thomas and had the best meal of our trip, Thomas ordered traditional food such as the ox tail, tripe and trotter and a chicken dish. When we make it make to South Africa we will be back. Waitress was top notch as well. Great establishment

I enjoyed the food and the lovely atmosphere. They dim the lights when it gets dark and switch the candles. Beautiful ambience. The chicken livers on the starter menu are absolutely amazing. The sauce is different from anything that I have ever had. It is a must-have.
