Moyo Zoo Lake - Johannesburg - Photo album

We had a work function here, the service was okay and the drink selection wasn't too broad but the food was really good. If you want a good South African meal you will definitely find that here. They had a buffet setting where we could choose from a very wide variety of South African cuisines and al
What an awesome atmosphere. Great setting and probably one of the best places to chill, have drinks. Upstairs has a view of the Lake and feels like a holiday scene. Menu is the best and affordable. Great for family and groups. Angela the waitress was the best, great service!
It was my first time visiting the restaurant and i thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Lovely, true African experience restaurant with great African cuisine and live music. My highlight was when our waitor, Gift brought a bowl and jug with warm water and getting our hands washed. One can tell that a
We went on a Sunday, and it was quite quiet. It took a long time for us to get menus and then to order food, and the food (sandwiches) took very long to arrive as well. But maybe it's the whole tourist vibe. 😊 I am giving four stars because the food was excellent, and they updated our order to be ve
Amazing African experience. From the delicious food and vibrant staff. Warm welcome with African melodies. This is a place to be. If you love good African food or want to be in a boat 🛥 and see beautiful artefacts. Or just simply want chilled vibes with your friends, family or lovers
Beautiful place. Great chilled vibe with live music. Food and drinks are amazing. The cocktails are nice and strong. I also love the complimentary starter bread that we got. It's very unique, I really enjoyed it.
This moyo has a lovely setting with plenty outside tables and inside. In winter there are fire places, in summer the cocktails on the deck are a must. Best part if you want to stretch your legs you can go for a walk around the lake then come back for dessert. There is plenty parking with a car guar
I was impressed when I literally stumbled across Moyo in PTA. It was already dark but we could still experience the beauty of the place. It is beautiful like a fairy garden with all the lights and the walkways and bridges. The staff is very kind and friendly and the service is good. There's also a
Nice environment, the open area was very suitable for people with kids and pets. Food was very good. The lamb shank I took tasted very authentic African. A group was singing for every table. Cool to visit.
This is easily one of my favourite Jozi spots. The ambience is phenomenal, with classic music from all over the continent playing softly as you dive into a plate of yummy nosh. Cocktails are nice too. More than anything I love the setting, and will definitely come back.
