Review Brewhaha Craft Beer Restaurant - Jeffreys Bay

My boyfriend and I visited this place on August 11, 2023. While it's not a sprawling venue, it has a charm that can make even a small crowd feel bustling. During our visit, there was a lively gathering of older patrons inside, which prompted us to opt for outdoor seating, allowing my boyfriend to enjoy his vape. The seating arrangement, however, is quite close, making it easy to catch a whiff of neighboring tables' smoke. For non-smokers, this could potentially be a drawback. We were promptly greeted by a friendly waitress who handed us the menu. Since it was early in the evening and we planned to explore other bars before dinner, we were looking for a quick bite and some more drinks. We settled on the beer-battered onion rings with ranch dressing and corn dogs, both of which were exceptional. The accompanying dipping sauces added an extra layer of flavor. To our pleasant surprise, the bill came in at less than 200 rand, making it quite affordable for the quality of food and drinks we enjoyed. This makes it an excellent choice for those seeking a spot for a casual drink and a satisfying snack.

Brewhaha is a lovely, family-friendly restaurant with great food for the whole family. It offers a play area for kids, comfortable couches, boardgames, inside and outside seating and some tv's (for the sport lovers). All the food is delicious and even though I am not a beer drinker, I recommend the beer tasting (they even have some pairings as well). They even make their own sparkling water. The only critique I have is that it tend to be noisy (it feels like the sound just bounces off the walls), but that's also probably because to many people love going there. 😉 It is a great space for hanging out with friends or having a birthday celebration - that might be why it tends to be noisy, because people are cheerfully enjoying the company around them. 😁 Also take a look at their specials: Burger Mondays Chicken Tuesdays Pizza Wednesdays Sushi Thursdays FAMILY Fridays

What a great restaurant, Wednesday Pizza specials are incredible but Thursday's sushi is even better!

Really great locally brewed beers 🍺 Some interesting beer pairing options on the menu including a unique Sushi and beer pairing making for an all round fun experience. Food was great and the beers are fantastic.

Fantastic atmosphere and such good food! I've never had such tasty pizza ever in Jeffrey's Bay and my Fig and Brie burger was absolutely wonderful. Can't wait to go back!

Try something different with the beer flight paired with sushi. I asked my server to ask the sushi chef what the sushi was that he paired and he didn’t remember, that was strange. Also, all of the sushi had a cooked/deep fried element. The chicken strips come with Brewhaha’s secret sauce. The sauce is tasty. The strips need more seasoning.

My new favourite bar in South Africa, the stormy seas IPA is out of this world good, just wish I could have tried more beers but was driving so could only have a half pint, will return to try more for sure. The fillet steak was very good and cooked just right, sweet potato fries were great to, Amanda out server was a star and her smile lit up the bar, she looked after us during our amazing meal at the Brewhaha.

My wife and I had an incredible experience at Brewhaha. Our waiter was friendly and their food and drinks were really good. I would definitely go back when I'm in Jeffrey's bay again.
