Review The Greek - Jeffreys Bay

We were on holiday in JBay and were lucky enough to be able to walk to the restaurant from our Airbnb. We enjoyed our dinner so much the first night, that we ended up going the following night again. Luckily, they had a table for us on both nights, as this restaurant is very popular and fully occupied. I had the calamari both nights, which was really good! Great portion size, and I love their side salad, which is scattered with fresh herbs, feta, olives, and peppers. My husband said he had the best 500g sirloin he has tasted in a long time! We enjoyed the same attentive waiter both evenings. I like that their wine offerings are priced according to colour sticker categories and that you can pick a wine or champagne from the fridges.

Food delicious, Service very friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere. Prices a little expensive, but the food quality make up for it. Lots of parking.

The Greek Such a buzzing restaurant. Could make out that this is a really popular place. Filled with diners enjoying the food and drink. Seafood was excellent. We enjoyed the prawn, line fish, calamari and squid head. The staff are quick and helpful. The pizzas are baked right in the service area. Nice to watch.

Great restaurant with wonderful food and wines! We came here for Christmas since it was one of the few open restaurants and we ended up having a great dinner. The fish is from the Jeffriesbay area and really tasty and prices very honest. I'm case you don't like fish they also have other options to select from like pizza or meat!

Shared seafood platter was really good, sirloin steak was massive! Salad however was not really good nor Greek, had waaaay too much cilantro, although I normally like that.

Another awesome experience in Jeffrey's Bay. Despite Load Shedding, I had the most delicious fresh fish and lots of ice cold drinks. Don't skip it!

A nice genuine Greek restaurant with Greek dishes available as well as pizzas. Food is good. Portions are a decent size. Prices are average to slightly pricey but not too bad. Seems very popular eatery.

Great Greek atmosphere. The music, the smells and the decor. The food was great and the service friendly and prompt. Definitely worth a visit when next you are in Jeffeys Bay. PS. The calamari is locally caught. Very tasty and chewy.

A wonderful experience dining in this place. The food was delicious but a little bit more saltier than I am used to. The seafood platter is awesome. The lady owner is nice and ready to answer any questions.

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I tried the lamb shank with baked potatoes & a salad & my friend ordered the Eisbein with chips. The friendly staff were very helpful & enthusiastic.

We enjoyed the white Stumpnose mussel cracker the most.

Honestly the best prawns I’ve had in my life. I do not leave or go through Jeffrey’s without visiting The Greek and having some prawns. Besides all their amazing food options, the service and vibe have always been exceptional. A definite must.

Ziyanda was an amazing waitress! Very attentive and has an amazing smile that made our dinner at The Greek very memorable! Will definitely be back and hope to be served by her! Delicious food too.
