We wanted Fish and Chips take aways. Weskusplek charges way more than R150 pp. Herberg is unbelievably expensive (R35 for 12 undercooked, frozen chips) and in our experience their food is just terrible.

My daughter and I had a most delicious meal prepared at Kontrei Kuierz, Jacobsbaai. The Chicken Schnitzel and chips was perfectly prepared and served with a smile😊 We will certainly visit there again!

This is such a cute coffee shop and so highly recommended! Just on the outskirts of Jacobs Bay, this is a go-to place for a light snack and drink, or better yet a lovely “kuier plek”.

Kontrei keffie is a must visit when passing through Jacobs bay. The food options are limited but they are superb. They only recently started doing pizzas on certain days and be sure your pizza will be packed to the max when you order one.
