Simply the best seafood restaurant we’ve been to in ages. Prawns were stunning, calamari tender. Service excellent. Expect to pay a bit more than average but worth every cent!! We’ll definitely be back
What a beautiful dinner spot. It was packed, good thing we made a reservation. The service was excellent and the food was just amazing. My boyfriend and I will definitely be going back.
It was my wife’s birthday and I wanted to take her to a restaurant we have not eaten at before plus having just come out of ICU, I had a craving for prawns.
I had the prawn and avo starter and my wife the halloumi salad. Both were excellent. Fresh, creative, tasty and left a delicious aftertaste in our mouths.
My wife had the calamari trio and I had the Mozambique prawn curry. The calamari melted in our mouths and the Cajun spice was just perfect. I could not fault this calamari fish in any way. It was deliciously perfect. The curry was mild, spicy, rich and creamy. The prawn were fat, juicy and tasted like prawns should. A very more’ish dish.
The restaurant spoilt my wife with a slice of cheesecake and a celebratory candle. Thank you guys. Appreciated very much.

Haven’t been here for a while but very impressed. Great, friendly service and yummy different food. The trio of calamari was probably up there the best calamari dish I’ve ever had. My wife trout with olives and tomatoes also very yummy. Impressed. Won’t be so long till I go again. Thanks people. Great night out.
Ordered the tempura prawns but actually got battered prawns. The prawns were small, cold and the batter was far too thick. The prawns were much better at Nicolway. To be fair, when we mentioned this to the manager he offered to give us another portion and, although it waa not our goal, did not charge us for the prawns.
The green salad was very nice and main course of hake deepfried or grilled was excellent.
Outstanding all around. Their food is of a superb quality and consistency. Their staff are well trained and friendly. The management are always willing to go out of their way to please the customer. Even on busy evenings they keep up their high quality and it is always an enjoyable experience.

Consistently good fresh food and excellent service. I had the prawn and calamari combo and my friend lobster with vege. The prawns were delicious and much more flavourful than the lobster. They came out of their shells beautifully I’d go back just for them
We had a very nice team dinner here. There were nearly 20 of us. Service was excellent and all courses arrived within minutes of each other. We had a semi-private area to ourselves but were within metres of the main dining area and didn’t miss out on the ‘vibe’ of this bustling eatery. I enjoyed my prego - overall, portions are huge. The dessert options are drool-worthy too.
The service is always extremely attentive. The fish is fresh. They are always accommodating even when full and they are more than willing to cater for separate dietary needs. It’s family friendly and always consistent
One nice restaurant in a cozy location.
The decors of the place is really simple, nothing too fancy, but puts you in the marine ambience and prepares you to the fish you’re going to eat.
I tried the hake which was nice.
The kings platter is a good option for sharing.
The service is very good.
The prices though are much more expensive than other restaurants in Johannesburg😞
