Haven't been to a Mike's for donkeys years but there is one in the PE hotel I'm overnighting in. Made a call to have hake over steak ( even though when in a steakhouse order steak was ringing in my ears ) but the fish and salad was perfect. And the service was first class.

Enjoyed a quick lunch here and the steak was done well. There were some confusion regarding the drink orders but overall it was a nice experience.
I had the chicken wrap and it was delicious . It was my first time here so it was a pleasant experience. I'd like to thank our waiter Tino for her wonderful service as well. I highly recommend coming here.❤️
I didn't know that there was a Mike's kitchen in Summerstrand and stumbled on to this place by accident. No one greeted us at the door and we weren't sure if the place was open for business. After about two minutes someone came to usher us to a seat and we had quite the choice as it was very quiet. We asked the waitress and she said on good weather days they are a bit quiet for lunch as everyone is at the beach but she assured us that there was usually a healthy crowd for breakfast and that it would pick up towards supper time. My wife and I enjoyed the quietness. It did indeed start to get busy toward the end of our meal and I only realized the size of the restaurant as we were leaving. We received our meals approximately 25 minutes after placing our order which i believe is on par for what we ordered.. Both our meals were good and my steak was cooked exactly how I asked for it. Everything was clean and neat. Had a pleasant dining experience.
Had great service from our waitress jessica, shes very friendly and kind, always smiling at all times, you can just see that she is naturally kind shes a great asset to the company as she is very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable at all times. the steak special was great, good value for money, my family enjoyed visiting the place after a very long time, the revamp is great aswell. We will surely be back again. ❤️👍 Thumbs up for everything . Overall great food, great, service, great atmosphere.
The food was amazing. I got a regular burger with chips and onion rings and was full for hours. The view was beautiful too.
It's one of the places that have real specials. Their special was quite good, and I enjoy their atmosphere too. The only down side is the size of the play area for children. It is nice, but could potentially accomodate space for more children at a time.
Very good service. Good food. The manager Chantelle is awesome and the waitor Geraldene is very friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend anyone to eat here and definitely my number 1 restaurant in PE

Decent food with average pricing and good service. Giving you the option of all you can eat buffet or off the menu.
Food was good from the menu but nothing to write home about.
Worth a try if you looking for something different

First time at Mikes Kitchen and from the moment I walked through the front door I was impressed. The cleanliness and structure of the store is honestly taken for granted.

Food even better.
My friends and I are extremely difficult to deal with but Mitchell was just perfect. Her attitude always positive. Her smile infectious.
Drinks arrived in less than 5 min.
Starters under 8.
And mains ( even though we had some last minute changes) less than 15 minutes. Btw all 4 steaks cooked at the perfect temperature 2x Rare 2xMed Rare.
Management were constantly on the floor and deserve to be recognised for their exceptional running of the store. I don’t understand how you’re not running a queue every night.

Waitron was extremely helpful and friendly,we had a baby with us and the highchair was gladly supplied despite play room being under construction. Food was served with a smile and definitely a nice easy atmosphere.
The service was very good and the food. Thank you Tino for assisting us so good.

4/5 - Great weekend breakfast in a restaurant with friendly staff and a great view.
So we decided to have a breakfast at Mike's Kitchen after seeing an ad in my feed. It was the first time going to the restaurant which is situated between the McDonald's and base of the Holiday Inn. Arriving just after 10h00 we were pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant with only 3 other families enjoying breakfast.
Waitress (Jessica) was friendly and service was fast. We enjoyed the Rustic Potch and the daughter enjoyed the kiddies Chicken Strips and Chips. Both were most enjoyable and we topped it off with a cappuccino and an Oreo Milkshake (bit pricey but if you spoiling yourself is worth it - BTW they use REAL Oreos and not those fake ones cheaper places use).
I've put photos of the menu below and as you can see the prices are reasonable enough for a special outing.
Will we return,? Most definitely! The view was great, the food was great and so was the service.
Areas to improve - only the bathroom could have been a cleaner in the ladies bathroom
Great mid week special. "Happy birthday special" - 200g sizzling steak or chicken schnitzel for ONLY R51. Great little meal and enjoyed the atmosphere during the week.
1st time dining here and it was a great experience...I'm so coming back soon.
