Review Eat At Andrew's - Howick

Quite a nice experience. The setting was lovely and the food was good. Although there wasn't a big variety of vegetarian dishes - especially for breakfast- I opted for the avocado on toast and my partner chose the "make your own" breakfast which was scrambled egg, cherry tomatoes and a sweet potato hash brown. The coffee is really good. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back. The only critique I have is that it would be nice if there were more of a selection for vegetarians, I would like to come back for lunch and would be disappointed if there wasn't a suitable choice of dishes to choose from.

Gorgeous spot in the Midlands. Locally sourced ingredients and carefully thought out menu, including breakfast.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Andrew is passionate about local food and pairing good flavours. Relax under the big old 🌲 tree with a glass of wine or great coffee in-house. Chatter is easy and the vibe pure Midlands. Nebu changes often.

This place looks really great. Unfortunately we could not have lunch there due to electricity problems. But five stars for the chef/owner. He advised us to go to another really good lunch spot. His hospitality and friendliness were outstanding.

The food was exceptional and service was excellent! Each dish is specially prepared that sets this restaurant apart from others. The prices are very reasonable given the effort and detail that goes into the preparation. The restaurant is in a beautiful setting with gardens that make outdoor dining a memorable experience.

One of my favourite places. So glad the restaurant is up and running again with a great chef. Set in a beautiful garden. In and outside. Has animals goats a pig ducks and rabbits for children to feed.

How do I give 5 stars when I waited or we waited 1 1/2 hours for food AND I heard someone else going off in the car park about a similar time lag between order and service. Mothers day so good bonhomie and no hurry but my daughter almost started chewing on the table she was so hungry. And my Son - in law 's lamb chops were not just pink but raw. So how come the five stars??? Purely selfishly that wad the best rib eye steak I have had in years, the best brownie and ice cream with cream and the best coffee milkshake I have tasted in years!! So the long wait forgotten and forgiven because the fare magnificent for me at least! So not a fast food outlet and not even a slow food outlet but a superslow food outlet but it hits the jackpot for some! Pleasant friendly host I will be back but take a book to read while wait for great grub.

Had a delicious plate of veggies from the harvest table, with a very nice cappuccino and that gluten free chocolate cake - wowsers! Well done guys. Looking forward to popping in again.

Pork belly to die for, gluten free chocolate cake like an other-worldly experience, and amazing staff to round it all off!

Thanks for an awesome dine out, Andrew. I love the homemade lemonade and the, harvest table was well worth trying. So many flavors and ideas. Some of the salads ingredients I had not tried before. Well done. I will be back.

Had amazing trout and salad. Food execution that you would expect from a fine dining restaurant at a gorgeous venue that can work for a well priced lunch spot. Could not fault a single element of the experience.
