We went for Dinner at Post Postino and we were so impressed with the food and the hospitality. The owner, the waiters, all the stuff were incredibly accommodating and friendly. We were in a group of 4 and ordered 3 pizzas, with one of the pizzas being gluten free. It was honestly the best gluten free pizza i have ever eaten. I don't like a thick pizza at all and thats always a concern when ordering a pizza. That and the fact that it has to be gluten free. These pizzas are exactly how a great pizza should be, thin and crispy and with delicious toppings. The staff, the atmosphere, the facilities and the food were great!
Fifth time lucky - finally had a chance to visit Post Postino after years of visit the Midlands. And wow, true Midlands hospitality - after a very long and hard drive from Pretoria, they helped us without a booking and before service started (we really didn't know we needed these things). Fed us the best pizzas with the best service ... all while none of their actual staffed pitched for work. Great to see friends and family pitching in to keep doors open and delicious pizzas churning out. We couldn't be more thankful to them helping tired parents with hungry kiddos - who declared that this is the best restaurant ever!
The first time we stopped in they were closed, as it was a Monday. Fortunately, we bumped into the friendly owner who was so nice and gave us some water to cool us down after our run.
The second time we came back was the next day and were impressed with the excellent food and attentive service.
It definitely deserves five stars.
My first time in the area, and found this hidden gem. Was a fantastic evening. Food was quick and delicious. Great atmosphere and the service was amazing. They recently started opening on Monday's aswell. Will most definitely come back for more.
After reading many positive reviews, we got a takeaway for dinner and it was delicious! The base had a lot of flour on the bottom so that’s the reason for the 4 stars. The service was great and the managers super friendly. Definitely go here!
Lovely Restaurant. Food tasty and ample. Wonder, our waiter was knowledgeable and on top of his game. Jane the owner handsome and attentive. Enjoyed the vibe.
Had lunch at Il Postino. Staff were warm and friendly. Pizzas were tasty and well made.
Nice play area for the kids. Has outside seating.
Did not give them 5 star as they ran out of Avo and only told us when our pizzas arrived to the table! And my 2 year old’s pork sausage was under cooked. But other then this we enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

The very best pizza in South Africa. We love the food and the warm atmosphere. You can sit by the fire and on some nights hear live music. They also have a full bar. A great place for lunch or dinner.
Incredible little family-run pizza place. Maybe a little off the beaten track but so worth a visit! The quality of the food is top notch while the ambience is spot on for family trattoria. The pizzas are delicious, but there are also other options. The gluten free pizza is crisp and delicious (and not full of flour as so often happens). Apart from pizza there other delicious options on the menu and desserts were a treat too. Definitely make time to enjoy this unmissable gem
