A homely, small and family-run restaurant the way they should be. The best steaks and steak tartare in Hout Bay. Importantly, the wood-fired pizzas are the best in the Cape Peninsula by far without a doubt. And the service is excellent. I can confidently recommend Papino's. Superb.

Service did not start off well. A waiter should always serve drinks promptly, one should not have to wait. My opinion, it's always better choosing a meal off the menu with a drink at hand. But got better during our time at Papino's. Overall a good experience. I would still go back to try something else on the menu. Thanks

We were there on Saturday and had pizza and lasagne, both delicious. Came back on Monday, had sirloin steak and grilled chicken breast, both was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. Came back on Tuesday, had sirloin again and spaghetti carbonara, no regrets at all. Will we be back? For sure!

Best pizzas in Hout Bay! I ordered a couple of pizza's to take away. I can honestly say that the bases were thin and crispy on the edges and ingredients fresh and tasty. The restaurant was full - always a good sign! Thank you to the owner/manager for his micro management of a very busy establishment!

TAKOUT. We grew up in Hout Bay and were huge fans as children and a family. Unfortunately the pizzas were dry and lacking in tomato base, cheese and toppings, the salad was tasteless and sadly warm. A substantial amount was spent on this meal and were all a bit let down. Iām not trying to be nasty but only criticize constructively as a Hout Bay local.

Had a lovely dinner at Papino's last night! I had a pizza the night before and it was a very hot evening so I opted for a fresh salad which really was so tasty and delicious! My boyfriend had the Alfredo pasta which was super creamy with lots of mushrooms and ham! My salad was called the crunchy vegetable salad and it turns out it was vegan too š the staff are young and attentive and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be back for this salad and a pizza

They've been around for ages and still keep the same cozy, friendly, family vibe. <br/><br/>Pic attached is the Roquefort. Great combination of flavours, although, to be honest, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Springbok Shanks are also a must have!<br/><br/>Thanks Karen and your team!

This is a cozy little Resturant and friendly.<br/>The pasta salmone was swimming in a most bland sauce and the pizza was edible. The Caprese salad was a bowl of lettuce with 1 maby 2 diced mini mozzarella balls. It arrived , as an ordered starter, just after the main course.<br/>This place would be best avoided.

This is a magical place with magical owners . I was in hospital for 2 weeks after a car accident and they heard about it and the evening I was out, I received a free magical Pizza from Pappino's. This just do not happen anymore in today's life and age. The Pizza was fabulous and the base and filling to die for.<br/>Thanks so much for brightening up my life after my trauma. You surely did .
