Great local pub. Probably best Sunday roast anywhere in C.T. .. Caters to all: Family, bikers, sports fans, beer lovers and all very reasonably priced. My new favourite spot. 2 thumbs up !!

The finest fish and chips I've had in Cape Town! Though the tartar sauce was unremarkable. Service was friendly and fast. I would recommend a pint of Guinness and a game of Scrabble to complement the cosy pub atmosphere. Beware that parking outside may be a bit limited.
Had the best Sunday lunch. Pork Belly was perfect, so soft it melted like butter. Awesome staff and very helpful waiter. Will definitely recommend this place to everyone. Thanks for the great meal and service.Sumari Nel Quintin
This is a great example of your typical English pub! The serve great food, great beer and do both with a level of customer service that makes you want to come back.Their Pork Belly is building legendary status and defiantly worth a try, In addition they do an incredible cheese cigar as a starter tat will keep you coming back for more.The owners are always there and this helps build an environment that is very welcoming.Woodcutters delivers on all levels of good traditional pub fare and atmosphere! .
Have paid the wood cutters a visit on several occasions and have not been disappointed yet. The burgers are good and the Jalapeno cigars are deeeeelish as a snack with drinks. Nice spot with a great vibe.

Stumbled across this place by accident on a road trip from town, and must say I was shocked at the quality of food upon its arrival. To the point that the same batch of friends and I came all the way here today just to come eat here again. 1st visit I had the ribs, friends had burgers and rump steak with peppercorn sauce. What a sublime experience. Ribs were falling off the bone smothered in their delicious basting sauce, burgers so good extra sliders were ordered for takeaways, and the steak... omg. Also best peppercorn sauce this girls ever tasted. 2nd time around, I had the pork belly with ginger beer glaze, utterly heavenly. Served with fresh seasons greens, I ate everything. Like cleaned the plate everything. Crackling so perfectly and delicately done it had the perfect crunch without breaking your teeth. Everyone else went for the rump steak and peppercorn sauce, which lived up to the memory from before. All in all, amazing place for delicious food at reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
Classic English pub with many beers on tap, great food for a pub lunch. Had the fish and chips and it could just be one of the best in Cape Town...
I'm so glad that I stumbled upon this place. I've consistently been impressed by the food served in Various "Arms" restaurants, and this one was no exception. The fish and chips was so scrumptious that my friends who ordered other dishes (which they all enjoyed) insist on visiting again so that they can order it for themselves.

Great atmosphere, was with my wife and mother in law to watch one of the rugby world cup games (SA Vs. Scotland). Atmosphere was great, food was very good, service was fantastic. Will definitely be back.
The fish and chips are simply 10/10! Was actually very surprised at the quality of the food here, it was excellent.
Staff are friendly, efficient (especially whilst showing the World Cup final last night) and it has a relaxed family feel.
Apologies for a previous review added to the wrong restaurant. 5 stars for location and the one meal I have tried, the chicken wings. A sticky and slightly burny sauce on the chicken that I thought was okay, until I added the blue cheese sauce, from okay to sublimely mouthwatering. Will try again. Friendly staff, cold beer and a pleasant calming atmosphere.
What a nice place! I stopped here for the first time during the Argus in 2020!
1. They have great food. The chicken burgers (also the cheapest meal on the menu R97) was delicious.
2. They have a bar area but their milkshakes and coffee is equally tasty.
3. There are booths for groups of people but on days where there is rugby, they set the single tables in such a way that there is a TV view.
4. Older generations have been meeting friends there for years and the different generations enjoy a beer together.
5. The restaurant is located next to a little river with large trees. There is outside seating if you want to enjoy nature
6. My family and I went here for lunch after a boat ride a km or so away (Nauticat). There was a seal eating fish at the harbor.
7. The road there is stunning (nature and ocean)
Need some updating but I wish every neighbourhood would have a pub like this. Very cosy. Feels like home ❤️. Food is good but the beer is better. Fresh and cold Guinness always a good selling point
This place is the most amazing spot in the bay, lovely staff cheap beer and there is always a seat, appetizers are delicious and my personal favorite is the pork scratching
Very nice setting with inside and outside seating. Premises are clean and well maintained. Big selection of wine and drafts available. Menu priced reasonably. The steak and genus pie is great. Will return.
It's a cute little pub with inside and outside seating. My wife and I had a light lunch eating just their starters. Their potato crisps were made in house warm and fresh. Don't expect fast service (but they are attentive, we had service from the owner as well) which is nice if you just want to enjoy the scenary. Also there is not a lot of parking available, but you can park at the shopping center next door and walk a little. Overall a great experience for a decent price.
A great pub vibe, with friendly staff and a good choice of beer on tap (both craft beers and more big brewery offerings). The food is excellent, and they have a pretty decent selection. Their pub quiz nights are also good fun. Highly recommended all round.
The last time I was here, was in 2018. Covid took it's toll but they are up and going forward again. Nice friendly owner, service delivery was very prompt. We only had drinks this time but I was happy to see that they are using biodegradable straws.
