We had the most wonderful meals here. Seafood platters, prawns, muscle soup and all were devine. For desert we opted for malva and lemon merengue. The latter was a gastronomic surprise as it was served in individual portions straight out the oven. Wow!
My husband and I were received very well and their food was excellent.My husband forgot his cigarettes and the owner drove to our holiday house and delivered it,personally.
Fantastic place for food and drinks! Nice atmosphere, cold beer and friendly service. Just what you want in such a special place like Hondeklip Baai. I read the negative review below here but I am absolutely sure these people should stay in Cape Town and sit on a fancy chair in a fancy place. Groet. Bart from Holland

I've travelled all over the world and this restaurant has the best omelettes, better than any 5 star hotel's I've ever had. They also know how to cook bacon perfectly - I have a suspicion that Bryce Courtenay's magical family frying pan made it to this kitchen!
