On holiday here from Jhb and we visited this restaurant for the first time this evening. Absolute BEST pizza ever! Blown away by how amazing the food was! We had the Sweet Chilli Chicken pizza and the BBQ Steak pizza - would highly recommend!
Family Grill, drinks, wild nature feel, relaxation, off road drive, jungle gym, domestic animals in a wild nature reserve etc. This place is awesome. Just to be away from town with friends or family with children. Very nice. Friendly people and owners are quite unbelievable, so filled with life and love ❤️. Atmosphere Felt like home🤗. Awesome pub and grill.

We love visiting The Thirsty Giraffe when we are in Hoedspruit.
The place has a very welcoming atmosphere with incredibly friendly staff and great food! The best Steak in Town!!!
Escobar the bird is pretty cool too! Even the Birds are Thirsty at the Thirsty Giraffe!
Great food friendly staff in the middle of the Bush. Favorite spot with the locals, which tells you it is value for money. I had the giblets and a steak both were awesome. Worth the visit.
A hidden gem on the R40 , well sign posted almost opposite Tshukudu Private Game Lodge. Family friendly. Staff very friendly. Great portions of food. Not expensive. Nice menu to choose. No rush so go to relax and enjoy the daily afternoon visit of the donkey to the pub. Horses may pop their heads in for a scratch. Owner very chatty. Home to Hoedspruit Parkrun. Certainly go back there.
A nice hidden "watering hole" in the hoedspruit bush...the menu boasts some south african portugese inspired dishes..all prepared well and tasty.
The service was good and the food was delicious.
Stopped here for some refreshments on a Sunday afternoon. Great atmosphere, very friendly bar staff. Thoroughly enjoyed it!!
Nice food, great people and cosy vibe to the place-
If you go there for the views, you will not be disappointed. You can have a drink on the top terrace. See the mountains, the sunset.. The view is awesome. They have chickens, donkeys, cows, ducks, geese, rabbits... They are free to go wherever, they 6would even walk into the restaurant... We had a pizza and squid. The was thin crust with a thick garnish and the squid was so tender... Delicious 😋.
Food was amazing and perfect, friendly service, big portions and prego roll was to die for !
This guy was tame and around 5pm the donkeys all come for feeding!! What a treat. Great restaurant and pub. Must stop in when travelling through Hoedspruit

Very tasty food and friendly staff. Good ambience in a nicely decorated venue. The flies pestering us while we ate was the only bad thing about our experience but otherwise we really enjoyed it and will visit again.

Absolutely best food I've ever tasted. The vibe is so amazing and everyone is friendly. I love it because it's child friendly as well as animals running around. So great. A must stop before the Kruger or passing though this great town. Family owned business.
