We attended the Pietermaritzburg Kennel Club Championship Dog show at the grounds and we were pleasantly surprised by the venue. The restaurant had amazing food and the coffee was excellent.
Old school, family friendly bar and restaurant surrounded by beautiful polo fields. Decent food and excellent service: breakfast, lunch or supper. The bar gets vibey over the weekend. Cozy during the winter. Go there.
Just what we were looking for. Conveniently situated, incredible management and employees, great surroundings and balcony and exceptional food to top that all off. Will definitely do this again.

Decided to go for a late Sunday run and was amazing!
The nature run that used to be a Parkrun is fantastic. You run through actual tunnels of greenery. It's cool and 80% in the shade. There are many horses and little streams. It's well worth visiting as a runner and cyclist. There is a car wash at the start of the run that is convenient.
Always a great day out with great food at reasonable prices. I still rate there wood fired pizzas the best in Durbs.

Excellent club for athletes and equistrians alike as there is not only horse related activities here but also a running and cycling trial. Stunning facilities, catered for young and old, awesome food and drinks, ample parking. And entertainment included...a treat to view these horses in action.

Service is a bit slow, but there are so many good distractions that it is easy to forgive. Staff are super friendly, helpful and accurate with orders. Platter dishes are a bit deceptive and not for sharing as one would expect however the food is very good, the general vibe is amazing
